[Highlight] PASS?...

PASS?...

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 07:37 AM PDT

I was preparing for the big day of my 2nd attempt (1st attempt)... finally it came on August 28th 2009 2pm. I was sitting @ T_break cafe, ground floor of Komplek Antarabangsa waiting for 2pm to come. It was a long wait so that i could avoid the terrible jam in downtown KL. You know it's FRIDAY... :(

I went up to the SAP office @ about 1:45pm and the receptionist directed me to HCL-AXON training center @ next door. I headed to the office, before entering the office i dropped by the toilet to release some burden... All the while my heart was beating bum bum bum!!... it was a big moment for me. you know?

So what's the big moment? Yup it's my 2nd attempt of my SAP ABAP exam which i has been preparing since two weeks ago. I was not 100% confident but at least 80%... better than last attempt... blek~ :p I was a bit disorganized when i got started on the exam. My hands were shaking non stop... hmmm.... No! I'm not panic but just don't know why? Maybe i drank the coffee before the exam. Bad Bad moment for TZ... Sigh~ Anyway, I took a big breathe and continued my exam.

Of cause clock kept tickling at the right upper corner of the screen... I was peeping @ the clock from time to time just to make sure i was on par with the time ... Yeh! I finished all the questions within the 1.5 hours before the exam ended. Went back to revise and recap all the unsure answers... quite a number of changes i had made...

Last 5 minutes... I was still revising... My heart was pumping faster and faster... when the time shown only left a few second ... I tried to close my eyes... Just don't wanna to see the result... When i opened my eyes I saw the breakdown of the result... So, do i pass my exam? hehehe....

Late in the evening, I received one of my friend's text to ask whether i pass my exam...

Friend : Pass?
Me : Fail wor :'( :'(
Friend : Adoi, so sorry to hear.
Me : hehe... Just teazing you lar... I pass my exam.
Friend : CHEEBAI! :-p :-p :-p

Yup ... I  Pass! I Pass! You are talking to a certified SAP ABAP consultant now ... ;-) hmmm... how much should i charge you... :p

What's Next?

hehehe... I wish i could be a pensioner with lotz of money... Dream Dream TZ... Need to start searching for job. Anyone have SAP ABAP job to recommend???? ...

Set Kartika Free!

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 09:59 AM PDT

Malaysia has long tried to cultivate the image of being a moderate Muslim state that can serve as a model for others. Particularly in the wake of the attacks on the United States in September 2001, successive prime ministers have worked hard to ensure that Malaysia would remain on the list of moderate Muslim states that could serve as the bridge between the Western and Muslim worlds.

Today, that image stands to take a significant pounding, thanks to a relatively isolated incident that has managed to grab headlines worldwide: A Malay-Muslim woman by the name of Kartika Sari Dewi Shukarno is set to be caned for the offence of drinking alcohol in public. Kartika's case has bedevilled lawmakers of Malaysia for the simple reason that nobody seems to know what to do about it.

Kartika was found guilty of drinking beer in Pahang. The religious authorities in the state found her guilty of committing a syariah offence, and she was fined and sentenced to six strokes of the cane. Kartika herself pleaded guilty to the charges. But what baffles many observers is that the former model said she was prepared to be caned, and what is more, to be caned in public.

Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has asked if Malaysia would celebrate its independence day (on Aug 31) with the caning of a Muslim woman. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has himself asked Kartika to appeal against her sentence. Needless to say, the case has brought Malaysia to the world's attention for all the wrong reasons.

The problem that this case poses for Malaysia is complex. For a start, Kartika's case was handled by the Syariah Court of Pahang, raising the question of whether the federal government can intervene to save her.

Adding to the confusion is the problematic and complicated relationship between religion and politics in the country. The borderline between Islam and politics has grown increasingly blurred after three decades of state-driven Islamisation. The enfeebled ruling Umno is now trying its best to defend its own Islamic credentials in the face of the opposition PAS. At the same time, Umno would not like to gain the same reputation as the Taliban of Afghanistan.

PAS in turn is likewise split in its conscience, between moderates who wish to push the democratisation agenda and conservatives who want more Islamisation. Already in Selangor, where PAS came into power as part of the opposition Pakatan Rakyat coalition, moral policing has been introduced by the conservative PAS leader Datuk Hasan Ali, who has called for religious functionaries to arrest Muslims who go against Islamic law.

PAS conservatives may feel that their electoral gains have given them the green light to further Islamise the country. They have thus called for a ban on the sale of alcohol and music concerts.

But in the wider context of international politics, Malaysia is looking more and more like a parochial state where books are banned and people are whipped for doing things that would be regarded as perfectly normal elsewhere.

Malaysia's conservative Islamists, their religious convictions notwithstanding, do not seem to understand why the international community is upset with the idea of a woman being caned for drinking a pint. Perak Mufti Harussani Zakaria, for instance, has wondered why a fuss should be made over a woman receiving six lashes when, in his opinion, she should be receiving 80 lashes.

It is this sense of disconnect that adds a surreal air to the goings-on in Malaysia today. The government is concerned that failure to enact Islamic law will compromise its standing in the eyes of conservative Muslims in the country. But to have Kartika caned would jeopardise the country's image internationally. Like it or not, Malaysia still depends on trade with the developed Western world, not Afghanistan.

This, then, is the dilemma that Malaysia faces at the moment, and there seems little consensus on how to proceed. Kartika's caning has been postponed for now. One thing, however, is certain: The costs of caning Kartika are simply too high. Should Malaysia cane her, it would have jumped one rung up the Islamisation ladder. After that, there may be no turning back. — Straits Times

All the Kennedy brothers are now gone, the Kennedy family endured many heartbreaks during their lives. They embodied the principle that if one is born into great wealth and privilege, they have an obligation to public service and to bettering their country. Edward Kennedy, the last of the brothers . . . they're all gone now. Flaws are human in all men. He had his personal flaws, but as a legislator he was a class act.

Despite his family wealth, he never forgot the common man, in all that he did. Ted Kennedy served his country with dedication and distinction. Like almost all politicians, he had his scandals, but unlike most he actually did something to make a real difference in the lives of regular people. Senator Kennedy's never wavering commitment to better the lives of working people and the poor has earned him a place of honor among American Statesmen.

Great heroes have foibles, and are still capable of monumental things.
Rest in peace, true American hero.

ERa Najib Altantuya : Protes Senyap ADUN BN Di Sidang DUN

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 10:07 AM PDT

Gambar - kerusi ADUN BN kosong semasa bantahan 'memulaukan' sidang DUN April lalu) Satu sumber memaklumkan, krisis 'dalaman' UMNO-BN Terengganu semakin parah malah sukar diubati lagi.

-buletinonline

Era Najib Altantuya : Isu Kepala Lembu, KPN Lambat Bertindak!

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 06:50 AM PDT

Najib Altantuya Resah Krisis MCA Gugat BN

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 05:44 AM PDT

PPerdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak menggesa MCA supaya menyelesaikan segera masalah dalamannya sebelum ia menjadi isu besar kepada BN.

"Kepentingan BN perlu diambil kira.

Era Najib Altantuya : Gobin Bakal Dedah SPRM Dera Saksi (updated)

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 05:24 AM PDT

Protesters threaten bloodshed over Hindu temple

By Shazwan Mustafa Kamal

SHAH ALAM, Aug 28 — A group of Malay-Muslim protesters claiming to be residents of Section 23 have threatened bloodshed unless the state government stopped the construction of a Hindu Temple.

Amid chants of "Allahuakbar," the group also left the severed head of a cow at the entrance of the State Secretariat here as a warning to Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

The "residents" said that the construction of a Hindu temple in a 90 per cent Malay- Muslim neighbourhood was insensitive because activities there would disrupt their lives.

They claimed that the "noise" from the temple would disturb their own praying, and that they would not be able to function properly as Muslims.

The group of 50 over protestors marched shortly after Friday prayers from the Shah Alam State mosque to the State Secretariat.

"I challenge YB Khalid, YB Rodziah and Xavier Jeyakumar to go on with the temple construction. I guarantee bloodshed and racial tension will happen if this goes on, and the state will be held responsible," shouted Ibrahim Haji Sabri amid strong chants of "Allahu Akbar!"

Ibrahim identified himself as the Deputy Chairman of the Resident's Committee against the building of the temple in S23 here, which is perceived by some as being a Muslim majority area.

He told the press that the state should move the temple to Section 22 as 'originally planned', and also labelled Khalid a "traitor to the Malay race and Islam".

It is understood that the protest is an immediate reaction towards the Selangor MB's visit to the Hindu temple site yesterday, an act seen by the "residents" as disrespectful to the Muslims of the community.

Mohd. Zurit Bin Ramli, who claims to be the secretary of the "Coalition of Malaysian NGOs" echoed Ibrahim's stand on the matter, saying that it was irresponsible on the part of the state government to approve the construction as there was apparently a "90 per cent" majority Muslim population in Section 23.

"With a temple on our residential area, we cannot function properly as Muslims. The temple will disrupt our daily activities like prayers in the Surau. We cannot concentrate with the sounds coming from the temple," stated Zurit.

When asked whether members of the protest were affiliated with any organisations or movements, Ibrahim claimed that the people present today were members of PAS, PKR as well as Umno who are "united in the name of Islam and the Malay spirit."

The state government was also accused of lying to the people of Selangor.

The Chairman of the Residents Committee, Mahyuddin Manaf excitedly proclaimed that the committee would uncover "the lies" and find proof of the state's misconduct.

"Khalid Ibrahim wears a mask of a Muslim, but in truth he is a liberal. PAS stands to lose out as a result. I voted for PAS as well as Khalid in the past elections," Mahyuddin claimed. (eleh... tu kan taktik camne orang UMNO cakap bila dah kalah.. )

The issue first cropped up when the Selangor government proposed that the Sri Mariamman temple be relocated from Section 19 to Section 23.

Reallybites asked me about one week ago if I have bought the .my domain for my name. I did not. So, I went and got it registered for RM38 for the first year. It is going to cost RM120 per year after that. The Digital Awakening can now be access from petertan.my too, other than petertan.com.

Era Najib Altantuya : Selcat Siasat Peruntukan Habis Dalamasa 3 Bulan Sebelum PRU 12

Posted: 28 Aug 2009 02:57 AM PDT
