Neighbour From Hell!

Neighbour From Hell!

Neighbour From Hell!

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 08:01 AM PST

In my previous post, I mentioned that I wanted to post about my stupid, moronic, imbecilic, annoying and retarded neighbour. Well, I intend to tell you just how stupid, moronic, imbecilic, annoying and retarded they are! I'm really 'blessed' to always have 'wonderful' neighbours. And this time, my neighbour cost me a whopping RM220.00 for nothing!

Last Saturday morning, wifey and me happened to wake up a little earlier than normal and this was after we stayed up late the night before checking out bingo halls online. As usual, the moment we wake up she'll head to the windows to draw the curtains. I was still lying in bed, while she was at the window and I hear the neighbours going 'Oi hello, hello' at her from downstairs.

Now wifey is not the kind to take to people calling her 'hello, hello' and she just walks away. But that doesn't stop them and they're still hollering 'hello, hello' which gets me riled up and I walk to the window and look down at them.

When they see me they start talking rather rudely and harshly about why my Astro satellite dish is infringing into their space! Yes, really, they actually started making a fuss about it not being right and how come we let the installer let it infringe into their house and all that crap and wanted us to remove it right away.

Now, granted, the bloody dish was infringing their 'air' space and I blame the bloody Astro installer for that but, get this, it's been in that position for the past FOUR, yes four months and I am VERY sure they have seen it there and only now they start making a big fuss about it. What gives?

Come on la people, it's not really getting in your way at all. It's way up on the wall and not blocking you or making your life's any more miserable so why the big fuss. And even then, you could at least be a little polite about it and not be so freaking rude, especially the first thing on a Saturday morning! And they kept insisting that we get it removed.

Well, technically it was infringing into their space but like I said, it wasn't like it was going to kill anyone or anything. So I called Astro immediately and asked them to get a technician over ASAP to remove and reposition that satellite dish and after all the work was done which took close to four hours (and that's a story for another day) it cost me a whopping RM220.00 for it! Hard earned money down the drain for nothing.

I freaking HATE that morons next door from the deepest bottom of my pancreas and I really hope they'll stumble upon my blog cos I am sure they'll know it's them I'm talking about. It's people like you who don't know how to give and take that make this world a crappy place to live in. It's a small tiny satellite dish and I wouldn't have blinked an eye if it was the other way around.

I never ever complain when they park their car and block my gate and in fact I still probably won't cos I don't intend to stoop down to their lower intelligence level. Yes, I consider them a freaking low life in the brain department.

Wifey and me wouldn't have minded if they had only practiced a little more tact in telling us about the dish spilling over into their area as it really was infringing their space but it's the way they rudely and arrogantly made a fuss that had me freaking mad with them. Would it have been so hard to talk to us nicely instead of 'Oi hello, hello?' and start shouting away?

Anyways, I've written them off as human beings and as far as I'm concerned I don't have any neighbours on my right hand side. As far as I'm concerned they don't exist and I don't intend to even give them the time of day. I'm a friendly and easy going person, ask my best friends, they'll vouch for me but give me grief and I can hold a grudge for ages.

I seriously think I must have done something really bad in my previous life to my neighbours to always end up with neighbours that have relations with good old Lucifer himself. The previous house I stayed had me sandwiched between two neighbours from hell and now it's like dejavu all over again! Somebody must really have it in for me when it comes to neighbours.

One day when I strike it rich from doing all those bingo site reviews, I'll remember to buy myself a house with the nearest neighbour being at least 2,000 kilometers away ... LOL! I think it's better to be living with a pack of hyenas as neighbours than these creatures currently next to me. I'm still smarting from having to fork out an unnecessary RM220.00 on a Saturday morning.

More About My Previous Part-Time for DiGi at Queensbay Mall

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 07:54 AM PST

I am going to talk about my recent part-time job at Queensbay Mall few weeks back again. I know working part-time is very normal and common thing, but I am a little bit crazy, took photos and like talking very big about my job. Actually it's just for a little memories of mine, at least I did go to work during this long 3-4 months holidays. There will be a part-time for me again this weekend, not at Queensbay Mall but at Gurney Plaza.

My job was promoter and assistant event organizer, I was not dealer, people can't sign line through me, I only promote and bring them to the dealer. So basically my job was standing and giving out flyers and taking care of the customer service counter. Very interesting thing is that Maxis, the rival's booth was not far away.

On these 3 days of work, I met many friends, and also made new friends at work. To be honest, time passes very slow but yet, it's already passed. =) Money money come.

IMG_5282 by nicholaschan.

Lunch break and dinner break was always the 3 same place, Ultimaxx Cafe, Chopper Board and Breeks Cafe. RM4-7 per meal. There's a rule that I can't go for break in pairs, but luckily for the 3 days, I found friends at the mall to eat together with.

Working there burns calories because I stand a lot, standing, standing and keep standing, for more than 9 hours. Morning till night. Not that bad afterall, at night still got Chinese oldies played from speaker of central zone as part of Chinese New Year celebration.

Last day working, after work, I took photos before going home. Yay. Thanks for everyone who came by to visit and support DiGi.

And for the 3 nights while we were going home, we always stuck in the jam for like 5-10 minutes. It's the car of all who works at Queensbay Mall, not shoppers. Wow.

One tip for working at Queensbay Mall, parking at the open site car park is only RM1.50 as per entry.

Umno Youth to the rescue! Now every runaway (read: underage) bride can come home! - Based on true life story of 'Bella' Salsabila Yunan - Lombok mali!

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 08:05 AM PST

The 'sensational' rescue of 15-year-old Malaysian teenager, by the name of Salsabila Yunan aka Bella has made the headlines.

Who rescued her? Umno Youth lor. This girl ran away from home to marry a man in Lombok, Indonesia.

Actually, the girl didn't want to come home even though her father was sick.

Now that she's home, she's hoping that her family will accept her spouse.

Of course, the father was very grateful to Umno Youth for bringing his daughter home because normally, girls who ran off to Lombok would only return home after 10 to 12 years.

PAS Nak Tawan Semula Terengganu?

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 08:45 AM PST

Kecualilah mereka berubah, insyaAllah ramalan GB biasanya tepat.

Kehilangan Enjit Jet - Mustahil Hanya Dua Individu Terlibat

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 06:40 AM PST

-TVS

Dua tidak mengaku salah curi enjin jet TUDM
Jan 6, 10 8:58am

Ketika ditanya adakah Mohamad Shukri akan didakwa, Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Raja Rozela Raja Toran berkata beliau masih belum menerima sebarang arahan.

- Bernama

Not Much of a Reputation to Lose - Amnesty International lost its innocence long ago.

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 05:56 AM PST

Amnesty International has been a handmaiden of the Left for as long as I can remember. Founded in 1961 to support prisoners of conscience, it has managed since then to ignore the most brutal regimes and to aim its fire at the West and particularly at the United States. This week, Amnesty has come in for some (much overdue) criticism — but not nearly so much as it deserves.

During the Cold War, AI joined leftist international groups like the World Council of Churches to denounce America's policy in Central America. Yet human rights in Cuba were described this way in a 1976 report: "The persistence of fear, real or imaginary, was primarily responsible for the early excesses in the treatment of political prisoners." Those priests, human-rights advocates, and homosexuals in Castro's prisons were suffering from imaginary evils. And the "excesses" were early —not a continuing feature of the regime.

In 2005, William Schulz, the head of AI's American division, described the U.S. as a "leading purveyor and practitioner" of torture and recommended that President Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and other high-ranking American officials face trial in other countries for their crimes. "The apparent high-level architects of torture," he added, "should think twice before planning their next vacation to places like Acapulco or the French Riveria because they may find themselves under arrest as Augusto Pinochet famously did in London in 1998." Schulz's comments were echoed by AI's secretary general, Irene Kahn, who denounced Guantanamo Bay as "the gulag of our times."

When officials from Amnesty International demonstrated last month in front of Number 10 Downing Street demanding the closure of Guantanamo, Moazzam Begg, a former Guantanamo detainee who runs a group called Cageprisoners, joined them. Begg is a British citizen who, by his own admission, was trained in at least three al-Qaeda camps in Afghanistan, was "armed and prepared to fight alongside the Taliban and al-Qaeda against the United States and others," and served as a "communications link" between radical Muslims living in Great Britain and those abroad.

As for Cageprisoners, well, let's just say it isn't choosy about those it represents. Supposedly dedicated to helping those unjustly "held as part of the War on Terror," it has lavished unmitigated sympathy on the likes of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, confessed mastermind of 9/11; Abu Hamza, the one-handed cleric convicted of eleven charges, including soliciting murder; and Abu Qatada, described as Osama Bin Laden's "European ambassador." Another favorite was Anwar al-Awlaki, the spiritual guide to Nidal Hasan (the mass murderer at Fort Hood) and underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. 1 2 Next >

HEY, this is something we can all shout happily about, is not it? To know that the economy is recovering is good news. Have a prosperous Year of the Tiger

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- The 4.5 per cent growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) achieved in the fourth quarter of last year is unexpected, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The growth stemmed from strengthened domestic and external demand," said Najib, who is also Finance Minister, when announcing the economic performance for the quarter Wednesday.

Last year, the country's economic growth contracted to minus 1.7 per cent, lower than the projected three per cent, he said.

The economy recorded a contraction in three quarters -- 6.2 per cent in the first quarter, 3.9 per cent in second quarter and 1.2 per cent in third quarter, he said.

Asked for this year's forecast, Najib said: "We are quite bullish about this."

On whether the worst was over for the country's economy, he said that it was over provided that nothing seriously unexpected with respect to the global economy.

"For example, any major sovereign collapse barring unforeseen circumstances of that nature, we could safely say that we have recovered from the crisis and we should be looking forward to a strong growth for 2010."

As to whether the country could achieve 5.0 per cent growth this year, he said: "Can".

"Earlier forecast is about 4.0 per cent for this year. I'm hoping I can achieve one or two per cent more than that.

"(We are) Going all out to make sure we are able to generate confidence, speedy implementation of projects and encourage the private sector to invest with higher consumer confidence.

"We should make good this year in terms of economic performance." he said.

Najib said the accelerated implementation of the government's two stimulus packages has been a key factor in contributing to the economic recovery.

To date, over 113,000 projects under the two stimulus packages have and are being implemented, involving a total value of RM17 billion.

Of the total, the government has made a payment OF RM13.9 billion, on average the government has pumped approximately RM1 billion a month into the market from January 2009.

"One of the main reasons why our ability to spend about a billion a month in 2009 is because we have this special monitoring unit attached to the Ministry of Finance.

"It did not exist before but this unit was working flat out and engaging with implementing ministries and central agencies to make sure all the programmes carried out under the two packages are implemented speedily.

"This is one of the main reasons why we have managed to achieve more than expected in terms of economic growth," he said.

Sustained growth in private consumption expenditure and increased public sector spending contributed to higher domestic demand, which recorded a three per cent growth in the fourth quarter as compared with 0.4 per cent in the third quarter, said Najib.

He said private consumption growth was supported by better conditions in the labour market, low inflation rate and higher spending for the year-end school holiday period and festive season.

The prime minister said the public sector continued its key role of providing impetus to growth during the quarter.

Public sector consumption expenditure expanded further by 1.3 per cent while public sector capital spending increased substantially as the implementation of projects under the fiscal stimulus packages gained further momentum during the quarter.

During the quarter, the development expenditure of the Federal Government amounted to RM17.6 billion, an increase of 9.5 per cent compared with the fourth quarter of 2008.

Najib said there were emerging signs of stabilisation in private sector capital spending in the fourth quarter last year, as business sentiments continued to improve.

This, together with the higher public sector capital spending, contributed to the turnaround in total gross fixed capital formation, which registered a positive growth of 8.2 per cent during the quarteras compared with a negative 7.9 per cent growth in the previous quarter.

On the external sector, Najib said Malaysia's exports performance recovered to record a positive growth of 5.1 per cent, supported by improvements in external demand, particularly from regional economies and from stronger commodity prices.

Malaysia also continued to receive foreign direct investments, he said, adding that in the fourth quarter of 2009, gross inflows of FDI increased to RM7.2 billion as compared with RM6.7 billion in the third quarter, with investments mainly in the manufacturing and services sectors.

On the supply side, Najib said all economic sectors recorded improved performance during the fourth quarter.

Kelantan Tak Iktiraf MPPP

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 05:40 AM PST

-Bernama Video : TVS

Konspirasi II: PR Akan Lawan Habisan Pembohongan Umno

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 04:49 AM PST

-SK

Polis Guna Akta Hasutan Untuk Soalsiasat Sivarasa Dan Salehuddin (updated)

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 05:20 AM PST

-malaysiakini

Tan Tee Beng Tetap Setia Dengan PKR

Was the Assassination of al-Mabhouh a Frame-Up?

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 03:41 AM PST

The assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai poses a whole lot of riddles, as these things usually do. Al-Mabhouh was basically an arms' dealer, that is to say, in an unlovely profession. He was a senior Hamas member, that is to say, a terrorist in unlovely company. He seems to have been in Dubai on his way to conclude a deal with Iran for arms destined to be smuggled into Gaza on behalf of Hamas. That certainly gave Israel an inducement to take him out. In addition, he is accused of being responsible for the murder of two Israelis, and those who commit terrorist acts of that kind are themselves killed by Israeli agents if this is feasible. So a finger points at Mossad, the Israeli secret service to which the rest of the world attributes legendary powers. Israeli media are indeed guessing that this is a Mossad operation, and, if so, Mossad got their man.

But there are counter-indications. The undercover squad was reported to have been eleven strong, and later seventeen. Such numbers are quite unnecessary and could only have maximized the danger of being caught. They traveled on foreign passports that had been tampered with, therefore bound to lead to high-level diplomatic ructions. They are further reported as wearing wigs and false beards, the equipment of 19th-century spies and easily detectable. Closed-circuit television cameras in the hotel where the assassination took place captured images of them all. Could Mossad really have risked such a mission in the certainty of its operatives being filmed? You would also expect them to be reasonably young and athletic, but the pictures show some portly gentlemen, rather absurd in shorts and carrying tennis rackets — more 19th-century disguise.

Fatah has almost as great an interest as Israel in seeing that Hamas does not acquire yet more Iranian arms that might well be used to oust Fatah from the West Bank. Jordan has arrested two Palestinians and extradited them to Dubai. Are they Fatah agents? Surely Israel could never have relied on Palestinians not to betray them in an affair as dangerous as this? Also, the Syrian branch of Hamas might have a score to settle with the Gaza branch, and that's what these two Palestinians were employed for.

If all this proves to be speculation in the heat of the moment, and that huge squad with false beards and wigs and tennis rackets showing themselves openly on camera really were Israeli agents, then Mossad was immeasurably lucky to get away with it, and badly needs to sharpen its act. A thriller-writer, however, might raise the possibility that Mossad did it in this extraordinary way in order to frame Fatah. That would make it a class act, after all. David Pryce Jones

Rais Tidak Layak Persoal Jawatan Saya – Anwar.

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 03:30 AM PST

Kata Anwar, tugas dan bidang kuasa Rais hanyalah menjaga stesyen Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) milik kerajaan pusat, bukannya mengambil peranan menentukan jawatan politik individu lain.

"Dia tanya saya, saya tanya dia pula. Layak atau tidak dia jadi Menteri Penerangan? Ingat semua kuasa dia nak aturkan, dia aturkan RTM adalah," soal Anwar.

"Tidak penting bagi Rais memperkatakan soal itu. Apa-apa biar tanya pemimpin pembangkang lain.

-FMT

Rais Setuju Anwar Perlu Lepas Jawatan Ketua Pembangkang

- BERNAMA

Unable to visit Sofie at the hospital yesterday due to a long list of things to do, I called her around noon to find out what was wrong with her.

"Doctor cakap badan saya tak cukup garam dan terlebih oksigen."

I told her I'd be visiting today and asked her if anybody was home since I wanted to send this month's supply of groceries as well. I felt relieved when I was told that her older sister (not the one Sofie used to stay with, this is another sister staying in another state) was home looking after the needs of Sofie's kids. They (the sister & her husband) were there over the weekend, but looking at Sofie's fragile condition, decided to stay on for another week. They were the ones who arranged to send Sofie to the hospital. If it was up to Sofie herself, she'd rather suffer at home than being warded at the hospital.

This morning Sofie sent me a text message, saying that she may be discharged in the afternoon. I did tell her that if she was willing to wait until after 2.30 pm, I may be able to fetch her at the hospital. But at that time she herself wasn't really sure what time exactly she'd be discharged, as she was still on drip, so I figured I'd just give her a call before I make a move from Ipoh.

Around 12.30 pm, Sofie called to say she had already been discharged and had already called her sister to fetch her at the hospital. She preferred taking the bus rather than wait another 2 hours or so for me to come and fetch her. I figured for whatever reasons, she couldn't stand it anymore at the hospital.

Before going home from lunch this afternoon, I went over to the minimarket near my office to get this month's supply of groceries for Sofie's family.

I headed straight to Sofie's house right after my zuhr prayer, and got there about 2.40 pm. I was pleasantly surprised to see Ika there. I thought her school session was in the afternoon and so she wouldn't be home if I visit during weekdays afternoons. Apparently her school changed from afternoon to morning session after the recent CNY holidays. So today other than Saiful, Ika too helped to carry down the groceries from my car. Sofie's bro-in-law too came out to help carry the things. I have already met Sofie's sister & bro-in-law twice before this, so they are quite familiar with me already.

Anyway, Sofie had already asked to be discharged from the hospital yesterday, but the doctor wouldn't allow her. This morning she asked again, giving the excuse that there was nobody at home to take care of her children. Well yes, Sofie's sister was home, but all Sofie wanted was an excuse to go home. The truth was, she couldn't stand it any longer at the hospital.

You see, most of the nurses at the hospital knew Sofie's family. It had been quite some time since Sofie was last warded at that hospital (ever since she was diagnosed HIV+, she has been going to Ipoh GH for her appointments), and so this time, they asked her all sorts of questions. They asked about her husband, whom they had always known as a playboy. They asked about her HIV. Sofie couldn't take it any longer, so she repeatedly asked to be discharged. The doctor finally agreed this morning although her BP was still rather low.

Worse, when Sofie's bro-in-law went out to buy roti canai this morning, the roti canai seller asked him straight in the face, "*Sofie tu sah HIV positif ya?" And guess who told him? None other than Sofie's other sister who stays nearby – the one whom Sofie had been staying with earlier. With Sofie hospitalised, that sister has even more stories to tell the neighborhood.

Sofie has had it with that particular sister. She intends to quietly move to a nearby town in one or two months time – without telling THAT sister. Last time she told me she may move at the end of the year. But now she intends to move as soon as possible and start afresh at a new place. In fact, she also intends to change to a new phone number. She has already identified a house, with the same rental rate as the present house. She will also need to arrange for her children's change of school. Sofie's sister and bro-in-law (the ones who came from another state to visit) had promised to help her out when she moves.

Sofie promised me that whatever and whenever she decides, she'd inform me first. I told her that if the timing is right, I don't mind helping her move.

Poor Sofie. It's tough when you're staying in a small town where everybody knows you have HIV. Worse, when people start whispering every time you pass by. And with her own sister as the main source of news, all Sofie wants now is not only to get away from her neighbors – main thing is to get away from her sister!

Harga Lotus Evora Lebih Tinggi Di Malaysia Daripada UK

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 02:00 AM PST

- BERNAMA

Salehuddin Ayub Dan Sivarasa Disoalsiasat Polis

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 01:07 AM PST

-tvs

Jawatan Tatatertib PR Kekang Putarbelit Media

Posted: 24 Feb 2010 12:07 AM PST

-TVS
