1) Husam Cabar Mustapa Bersumpah. 2) TGNA Telah Dibenarkan Pulang

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Petroleum Negeri Kelantan Datuk Husam Musa menolak dakwaan Pengerusi Umno Kelantan Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, yang terus mempertahankan pendirian hanya wang ihsan menjadi hak Kelantan berasaskan undang-undang, sambil mencabar beliau agar bersumpah.

Akhir bulan lalu satu taklimat hampir sama berhubung isu berkenaan disampaikan bekas Ketua Hakim Negara Tun Salleh Abas kepada exco kerajaan negeri.

-MI

Walk Down Memory Lane and Pole On Fire

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 06:33 AM PST

Walking and reminiscing those "sweet" moments during my tuition days under Mr Rangga.. a marvelous and well respected dude...

That will be pretty boring. However, yesterday, the street lamp outside my uncle's house which is situated 2 doors away from my house caught fire! Woah.. huge drama going on. There's sparks and fire at the same time just like in the movie.. Everyone thought someone's playing with firecrackers till the electricity in the whole area went out and we see a burning pole.

Anyway, the firemen came and doused the fire. Those TNB fellas freaked out and start repairing the cables immediately. The only dissatisfaction will be the emergency department's incompatibility. When you call 999 because something shitty is really happening you needed help urgently.. Those fuckers at the other side will non stop asking stupid questions. In short, in case of real emergencies.. straightaway call the fire station, ambulance or police station nearby you house instead of dialing 999. It's a waste of time. Trust me. By the time they want to take action.. You'll be dead by then.

MEMO FROM GOD forwarded to me with e-mail

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 06:19 AM PST

 To:             YOU

Date:            TODAY
From:           GOD
Subject:       YOURSELF
Reference:   LIFE

This is God.  Today I will be handling All of your problems for you..  I do Not need your help.  So, have a nice day.

I love you.

P.S.  And, remember…
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself!  Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME.  All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours.

Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it.  Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege..

Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you.
Now, you have a nice day….God

God has seen you struggling,

God says it's over.

A blessing is coming your way.

Busy week ahead

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 05:47 AM PST

The Perak Women for Women Association (PWW) will be organising a list of activities in Jaya Jusco, Ipoh from 8th to 14th March in conjunction with International Women's Day 2010.

Activities include information and awareness booths, health screening, blood donation drive, performances etc by various groups and organisations. Buddies too have been invited to set up our booth… in fact I was asked if Buddies would like to perform anything. Performance? I told the lady we didn't want to spoil the whole event!!

Setting up an exhibition booth would be great, but we simply don't have the manpower to man the booth the whole week. Understanding our situation, PWW agreed to provide us with a booth from 11th to 14th March.

Frankly, even for just 4 days I knew it wouldn't be so easy to get enough people to man the booth. After all, the exhibition is supposed to be from 10 am right to 10 pm. So we drew up 3 shifts per day: 10am – 2pm, 2pm – 6pm and 6pm to 10pm. I suggested that the Thursday and Friday day shifts be taken up by those with flexi working hours… or the pensioners. So yep, managed to get one or two volunteers for each shift.

Monday 8th March - Although we're only taking part from 11th to 14th, I do intend to attend the launch of the International Women's Day celebration on Monday. Other than lending my support to PWW's activity, I would like to have a look at the exhibition space, so it will be easier for me to decide which posters to set up at our booth later.

Tuesday 9th March - I will be giving a talk on HIV/AIDS at hai sayang's college… hehehe…

Wednesday 10th March – Nothing confirmed yet, but I've heard angin-angin that I may be invited by the women's wing of a political party to join their  discussion on matters pertaining to problems faced by women. Somebody recommended my name as I deal directly with HIV women. I'm not sure yet if it's on though… if it's not, then Wednesday can at least be my rest day…

Thursday 11th March – My shift for the exhibition will be from 2pm to 6pm, together with another senior volunteer. But I still have to go for a short while in the morning to set up the booth before going back to my office, as the 2 volunteers on the morning shift are both quite new.

Friday 12th March – Again I will be taking the 2pm – 6pm shift, this time with a trainee volunteer.

Saturday 13th March – My off day from the exhibition as I plan to attend a blogger's wedding in Kelana Jaya.

Sunday 14th March – Back to the exhibition… this time I will be taking the 10am – 2pm shift.

So yeah, busy week ahead. I just hope I can take the heat… with the kind of hot weather we're getting now…

Zulkifli Tak Tahu Malu, Ingin Kekal Sebagi MP Walau Didesak Kosongkan Kerusi

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 05:59 AM PST

"Kepantasan tindakan memecat saya membuktikan kepalsuan slogan mereka.

KEADILAN Lucut Keaggotaan Zulkifli Noordin

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 05:00 AM PST

Ahli Parlimen Padang Serai N. Gobalakrishnan pula ditugaskan menjaga Kulim-Bandar Baharu manakala Ahli Parlimen Gopeng Dr Lee Boon Chye menjaga Bagan Serai.

PRK Untuk Parlimen Kulim-Bandar Baharu Jika Zul Kosongkan Kerusi

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 03:46 AM PST

Parti Keadilan Rkyat hari ini memutuskan untuk memecat Ahli Parlimen Kulim-Bandar Baharu Zulkifli Noordin, wakil rakyat pertama parti itu dipecat atas masalah disiplin.

Keputusan diambil Majlis Pimpinan Pusat (MPP) sehari selepas menerima syor daripad lembaga disiplin.

PKR sacks Kulim Bandar Baru MP Zulkifli - he does not deserve to serve the 'defiled' non-Muslims!

In a recent interview with Malaysiakini, Zul said, "I am not interested in political parties. I prefer Islamic-based NGOs because I know the world works like this: If you join an (opposition) political party, half of the Muslims will not be with you because they are with Umno.(It would be the same if you join Umno because half of the Muslims would be with opposition parties.) So (membership) would be a disadvantage."

Forever Guilty (Updated with some old photos)

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 06:29 AM PST

I remembered those days when my eldest daughter was neglected without anyone to really care for her when I was at work. The father was still abroad then. My late mum was the kind who'd say "dah kawin kena pandai2 sendiri".

At times, my bro-in-law would come and just keep on rocking her up and down in her spring cradle and that was all. He did not know how to bathe her and she was always persuaded to sleep and sleep.

We couldn't afford any help. My pay was so little then, about 600plus.

My mum helped pay the rental of the house which I was then sharing with my older sis Cik.
So it was only fair I gave up 200 of my pay.
Life was not easy. I was on my own in every aspect.

When I got back from work by 1 something in the afternoon, J was still still in the cradle, not bathed and stenched with urine and faeces at times. I could not blame my bro-in-law..he didn't know how to care for that part. His job was to just keep an eye on her.

J too had a problem drinking milk. She didn't like any milk and refused to eat. There were days when I just spoon-fed her with just plain water. She'd cry a lot, and made me really tired and impatient. These came about for more than a year. I came to a point of whacking her tiny bump and throwing her on the mattress whenever she refused to stop crying.
It was a nightmare for me. My mum and mum-in-law was not helping out and I was on the verge of a depression.

So I stayed on teaching for around 2 years and just left the service without finishing my contract. Hubby was back by then but funds were too little for me to get a helper or sent J to a baby sitter. I was already carrying H and the pressure was so mounting. I was really going gila running around to get ready for work and jumping into the mounting household chores.

Yes..I became so strict and easily angry with J.
Yeah she was my 'punching-bag' at times. She was always getting on my nerve.
However, I do recall one of those happy times when I'd carry her around and always kiss her sweet-smelling small feet endlessly.

So recently, she told me that she still has not forgotten those younger days when she kept getting the 'abuse' until secondary school.
She still gets into a depression now and then and keeps to herself in the room.

My question is, after graduating from a good university in Manchester and already working for almost 4 years, am I to be forever blamed?

Has she forgotten that despite our short funds, we begged, borrowed but did not steal to sent her abroad.

Whenever funds were not enough for her, I would always have to remind the dad and he will always get stressed with me.
He was slowly hating me for reminding him to pay for this and that.
I was a like a chettiar in my own home..always asking for money.

As a loving mum, till today, any funds available are for her, her siblings and for the household expenses.
I do not have a job, I worked as a full-time mum till my hair is grey and accepted the fact that monthly, my working children cannot give us any money ( which I'm not asking ) because KL is an expensive place to stay and now..I am being saddled with this guilt of being an over-strict mum?

So I told myself..my mistake for quitting my job, my mistake for wanting to be a fulltime housewife ( you lose a lot of self-respect along the way) and making a havoc of my life.

I now just want to spent time catching up with my religious lackings and continue helping the younger ones who still want to listen to their monster mum.
How to make myself financially independent after all these years is another huge challenge.

Being a bit more pious than before, I have still failed to persuade J and F to pray more regularly. I guess they want to do so without being forced.
J thinks I do not have to become a preacher suddenly. I guess shes right.
The younger ones are still willing to nod and grab the sejadah when my loudspeaker is on.

H is okay with his prayers..he has always been that way.

So if I am to be forever responsible for J feeling depressed, I accept my destiny and may God forgive me for my 'cruelty'.

As it is, I have already received some of the 'punishment' for doing so much wrong in the course of my duties..thank God I am not ashamed to admit my tantrums and dramatic antics!

Team A and I.

J with the Baba.

Little J with her pose.

Just after a bath.

Getting ready to blow and cut her birthday cake at 4.

J and H at Tadika Diyana.

Zulkifli Noordin Dipecat Dari PKR

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 01:44 AM PST

-malaysiakini

Bond Disasters Brewing In U.S. And Europe

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 01:38 AM PST

Ellen Chang of Moneynews reported what Martin Hennecke had to say about the bonds in the western economies.

Investors should take a closer look at how much recovery has occurred in the United States and other Western countries, said Martin Hennecke, associate director at investment and financial advice firm Tyche. The economies in those countries are not generating a real recovery, he said."We are not seeing any growth in the United States, let alone any sustainable growth," he told CNBC. "The U.S. economy has never really recovered. They have just been throwing money at the problems, been bailing out the banks," Hennecke said. The bond market could be hit with the next crisis, especially long-term U.S. Treasuries and even European sovereign bonds and currencies, Hennecke said. "They are very much at risk now with this huge budget deficit," he said. The U.S., United Kingdom and other countries will encounter high rates of inflation, said Hennecke. "With the start of (the) sovereign bond crisis across the Western countries that we have seen in Greece and are starting to see in Spain … across the euro zone there's absolute disasters there," he says."We are going to see a sovereign bond crisis probably leading to very high or even hyper inflation in most Western countries and that could actually — ironically, theoretically — even drive up the markets because if you have high inflation, anything with any tangible assets behind it via commodities, companies … could even rise," Hennecke said. The U.S. central bank is holding back on issuing business and consumer loans, Bloomberg reported."The Fed remains more concerned about the sustainability of the recovery and disinflation than accelerating inflation in the near-term. They are in no hurry to raise rates, nothing before the fourth quarter or later," said Diane Swonk, chief economist at Mesirow Financial. "And their position is justified."

BN Semakin Parah, 1,400 Ahli PPP Kuala Langat Ucap Selamat Tinggal Kepada BN

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 01:34 AM PST

-SK

SPR Mula Kerja Awal Persempadanan Semula

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 01:15 AM PST

Beliau turut mengakui persempadanan semula bahagian pilihan raya khususnya sebarang pertambahan kerusi

"Kita belum lagi bercakap apa-apa mengenai urusan persempadanan, masih terlalu awal sebab lat lapan tahun

Four Malaysians make it into magazine's Heroes of Philanthropy list

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri T. Ananda Krishnan, Malaysia's telecommunications (telco), entertainment and property tycoon, and Ruby Khong, the regional director of China Overseas Petroleum Corp, have been featured in Forbes Asia's Heroes of Philanthropy.

Both made it into a list of 48 prominent givers to society in the Asia-Pacific region, whose causes range from disaster recovery, education, health and culture to science, with education being the popular choice among the featured philanthropists this year.

Two other Malaysians in the list are Tan Sri Liew Kee Sin, the chief executive of property developer SP Setia and Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, YTL group managing director.

John Koppisch, Associate Editor, Forbes Asia said those listed were not always the biggest givers.

"Instead we aim to highlight a varied group of generous people, some holdovers from last year, but mostly new names who deserve recognition. By calling attention to these 48 (givers) we hope to encourage more giving," he said in a statement yesterday.

According to Forbes, Ananda, who received a scholarship to earn his undergraduate degree at Melbourne University, has been extensively developing talents through school programmes.

Through his privately-owned company Usaha Tegas, he has helped underprivileged, high-achieving Malaysian students of South Asian descent to continue their studies in non-Tamil secondary schools, as well as supporting education for other groups in Malaysia.

The global financial crisis hammered fortunes all over Asia, but the past year was still a good one for Ruby Khong who donated US$400,000 (RM1.32mil) to the Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK), which she helps to run.

She was homeless in her teens and started the kitchen in 2006 with five friends. KSK delivers 830 packets of vegetarian food a week to the urban poor in Kuala Lumpur.

Liew, through SP Setia Foundation which he set up in 2000, pays the school fees and basic essentials for 2,300 children a year. It also provides medical aid to the disabled and poor as well as community enrichment programmes.

One of Yeoh's charitable acts is the Pride Foundation, which promotes awareness of breast cancer and provides support to victims.

Yeoh was also honored by Queen Elizabeth II with a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his philanthropic work.

Last year, four Malaysians were listed as Forbes Asia's Heroes of Philanthropy: Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah, Sunway Group founder and chairman Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing and Datuk Raya Erom.

43,200 Seconds ...

Posted: 06 Mar 2010 12:41 AM PST

After the hectic day I had yesterday I feel like going for a nice long Outer Banks vacation. I went to supervise an installation of a shop signage for a client of mine at 2.30pm yesterday and only came home at 2.30am! I was so beat by the time I got home and was thoroughly amazed that something that would normally take 3 hours at the max took 12 whole hours.

You know that saying 'when it rains, it pours'? Well, it sure rings true for me. I'm in the midst of working on a project for a motorsport company that involves quite a bit of items and one of them is a clubhouse cum workshop signage. Yesterday was the day the signage was to be up and everything was arranged way in advance with the schedules all properly worked out.

The client was informed of the installation time, the installers were informed of the proper location, the signage production was all done properly and I was a happy man. That was before I left the house for the clients place. Like I said, the installation was to start at 2.30pm. I was there early with 20 minutes to spare.

Now, knowing the way Malaysians work, I knew the installers would be late, which was the norm. So to give myself some leeway, I informed the client that the installation would start at 3.00pm. And I was right, the moment I got there, I get a text message that they would be late. No worries cos I was prepared for it.

Then 3.00pm came along and I got another text message. They would be running much later and could only arrive at 4.00pm. Good god! I was incensed. I call them and give them an earful! Then I inform the client who was there already that the installation would be a little late. Thank god, he was okay with it.

Then 4.00pm comes along and I get another text message saying they would be late cos they were only just leaving their office which was located on the other end of the planet. That would take at least an hour more and worse yet, it rains cats and dogs. Any other day I would have welcomed the rain cos of the heat wave we've been experiencing but not today.

The rain was going to play havoc with traffic and would hinder the installation. Why me god, why me? I go to the client and say

'Houston, we have a problem'

He gives me this weird look and says that as long as it's up by today he doesn't care how long it takes. Then he tells me he has to go for a meeting and will be back later to check on the signage. I call the supplier and tell them that I don't care if they have to climb that building in pouring rain with lightning and thunder all around but I want that signage up by today!

They finally arrive at 6pm and I breathe a sigh of relieve. Things started looking good, the rain was easing and at least now things would get underway. How wrong I was. I find out that the measurements are all wrong and they would have to call for more stuff and people to help rectify the mistakes and that it would take a lot longer to get the signage up. I was shaking my head in disbelief!

I honestly don't know how all the measure could go wrong when everything was relayed to all parties concerned in black and white. Confirmation on the sizes were done numerous times and everytime I checked, everyone always assured me that they knew what they were doing. If that was the case, somebody should tell me how come all the sizes were wrong and I ended up wasting 43,200 seconds of my life just sitting and waiting?

Anyways, to cut a long story short, I ended up waiting at the location till 2.30am making sure the signage was up. Things like these can only happen to me. No matter how well I plan everything, something will always go wrong. I have always hated having to rely on others to do work for me but unfortunately sometimes I can't help it.

As much as I like to do everything myself, I simply cannot handle everything, which is something wifey always tells me. She's right, as always cos there really are specialized people to do certain work but with things like these happening how in the world can I put my faith in people to do work for me? It's no wonder I always want to do everything for myself and end up having loads more white hairs.

Ok, I got to get ready for my buddy's lil girl's birthday party. You all have a nice weekend and I'll try to post some pictures of the party later tonight :D

Khir Toyo: Bad decisions made on the advice of civil servants and fellow politicians

So, Khir Toyo said, "Don't make me a scapgoat'.

Smart dentist, eh. ;)

He even pointed out that Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak faced similar situations. So, they too like Khir, had made bad decisions because of "information void".

Hehe...Khir Toyo had made PM Najib look so BAD!

MCA Di Ambang Era Kegelapan, BN Semakin Tidak Relevan

Posted: 05 Mar 2010 10:35 PM PST

-SK
