I have my Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens kept in a Lowepro lens case. Today I wanted to take it out to breath some fresh air and surprisingly saw that something's not right, the lens cap is stuck with the filter. I had to take it out by force.
After taking out, this is what I saw. The lens UV filter is broken now and luckily there's a filter. No idea how this happened, maybe is knock on something. Gonna go get a new filter soon. Shit, it's cheap, but I am broke.

After Chen Yuen's 18th Birthday dinner at Tao, Autocity, we went back to Penang island. But then, we didn't go back by bridge but we went back by the ferry instead. We didn't to reach Penang so fast and want to blow some sea wind, so went to take the ferry. The toll rate are just almost the same, only that ferry is FUNNER.
We were early and we had to wait for 30 minutes for the next ferry to arrived. OMG, so we started up queuing at there. Then we found it's bored in the car and so decided to went down around the ferry terminal to take photos. Very lame of us.
Where were all the girls? Sleeping the car. OMG. The ferry came and we hopped on.
Thank you for the birthday invitation Chen Yuen. Love it, like it, that day and night was so fun! Midnight was even funner with Left 4 Dead together. We kept on losing was because the computer at there sucks. Haha.

Turkey leading the charge in accusing somebody else on, crimes against humanity is simply laughable. Much regret is being expressed about the deaths of the "activists" who were among those attacking Israeli naval commandos with knives, clubs, iron bars, chairs, and snatched handguns on the Mavi Marmara early Monday morning. The ship was one in a six-ship flotilla of Muslim and radical-Leftist anti-Israeli activists that was approaching Gaza with the expressed aim of breaking Israel's naval blockade of the Strip and bringing purportedly badly needed humanitarian supplies. The Mavi Marmara was also known by the Israeli authorities to be the largest and most hostile ship in the flotilla.
Yet, either out of poor intelligence or naiveté on the part of their superiors, the commandos descended onto the ship unprepared, bearing only paintball rifles. It was only after several of them had already been severely injured and at least one of them thrown off the boat (see some of the brutality here) that the commandos finally got permission to open fire with their handguns and saved their comrades and themselves.
One of the soldiers said the scene on the deck "looked like the Ramallah lynch" of 2000, in which two off-duty Israeli soldiers strayed into the West Bank town of Ramallah and were horrifically lynched by an Arab mob. In that case there were only two soldiers and they were unable to defend themselves; but it would hardly have been regrettable if more soldiers had been able to come to their aid in time and killed as many of their attackers as was necessary to save their lives.
That is not to say the rioters aboard the Mavi Marmara—although their snatching and use of the handguns was a clear attempt to kill some of the soldiers—had any hope of prevailing over the commando force. What, then, in relentlessly attacking an elite military force mostly with knives, clubs, and the like, did the devout, "Allah Akbar"-chanting "activists" hope to accomplish? Clearly, that some of them would be "martyred" and thereby create yet another anti-Israeli international incident—at which, of course, they succeeded.
They succeeded even though the flotilla their ship was part of was organized by the IHH—a Turkish radical-Islamist organization that, as documented by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center, closely cooperates with the Hamas rulers of Gaza and with global jihad networks in Chechnya, Bosnia, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan while having ties with Al-Qaeda.
They succeeded even though, four days ago on May 28, members of the flotilla were filmed chanting "Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammad will return" (a reference to a seventh-century massacre of Jews by Muslims) along with songs of the mass-murderous "Palestinian intifada," and saying "We are now waiting for one of two good things—to reach Gaza or to achieve martyrdom"; and even though, three days ago on May 29, organizers of the flotilla explicitly told Al Jazeera TV that they were aiming for a confrontation with Israel that would have maximal media coverage.
They succeeded even though it is incontrovertibly evident that the Mavi Marmara was warned by Israel—before the commando boarding—that it was "approaching an area of hostility which is under a naval blockade," and was invited instead to peacefully dock at Israel's Ashdod port, have the supplies it was carrying peacefully transferred to Gaza after security checks, and then have its passengers peacefully sail back to their home ports—to which the "martyrdom"-seeking, weapons-hoarding Mavi Marmara replied for all the world to hear: "Negative, negative. Our destination is Gaza."
They succeeded even though, despite the usual accusations of Israel doing a poor public-relations job with this latest crisis, since May 25 the Israeli Foreign Ministry has posted information clearly refuting the myth of the "humanitarian crisis in Gaza" that was the ostensible justification for the flotilla, detailing instead the voluminous food, medical, building, electric, sanitation, and other supplies that regularly cross into Gaza from Israel. Last Saturday, went to Kuala Selangor to buy fresh fish.
Bought Giant Prawn or "Udang Galah" (RM45 per kilo), red snapper, mantis prawn, "Sembilang" (catfish), big sized Prawn.... all fresh from Pasir Penambang Market in Kuala Selangor, then headed to dried salted fish stalls a few kilometer further up.
Decided to head north just to check out any other attractions. Before reaching Tanjung Karang town saw a signboard for "Warung Ibu" - selling Nasi Ambeng - javanese style mixed rice: white rice, fried noodles, serunding (grated coconut), chicken (fried or cooked in black soy-sauce) the place was a hit with so many people. Many cars parked on the lawn and people crowding to eat.
Tried it and, well not bad.... they were featured in TV3's "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan".
After that drive south towards Klang, upon reaching Jeram after Sg Buloh town, turn to the Jeram Beach to check the beach.... what a let down, the water is almost a kilometer from the beach.....! After that headed home, and next day surprise, surprise, woke up in the morning and saw a firefly in the house... how it managed to follow us home???

Siapa ajar berdemo begitu? Ikut sentimen perasaan bukan ikut kewarasan fikiran? (AK)

Group photo of the visitors with John Bantan's family.
Happy family of John Bantan. Second and third from left are John's missus and John Bantan.
Festive Open House is a Malaysian tradition well preserved and practised by all racial groups to upkeep admirable harmony.
In the same way, Dayak groups open up their longhouses or modern houses in towns to welcome their visitors. They extend their hospitality to all well wishers coming for festive visits.
This morning I went with Yian to pay a Gawai visit to John Bandan, Security Chief of Premier Hotel. John bought a terrace intermediate unit last year at Bukit Aup. This is his second Gawai celebration in his new house.
When we arrived there, the house was already packed with visitors. The atmosphere was warm and the air was filled with festive joy. John took us to sample his homecooked delicacies. Wow, the taste was pretty tempting!
No Gawai Dayak goes without tuak! John and his missus made rounds taking visitors to cheer the festival with tuak. This is Dayak culture and it is very heartwarming.
Seeing that the family of John Bantan was high in festive mood, I asked them to pose for me to snap a family photo for them.
Before we left, we posed for a group photo with John's family.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat has given Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak 48 hours to convene a special parliamentary session to discuss the Israeli attack on a humanitarian convoy of ships ferrying medicines, food supplies and construction material to the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Disappointed with Najib's slow reaction to the devastating incident, PAS vice-president Mahfuz Omar said the government must, within 48 hours, also present a plan to save 11 Malaysians who are being detained by the Israeli authority.
He said this after attending a Pakatan-organised rally at the US Embassy here to protest against the Israeli attack on the humanitarian convoy yesterday.
"We are demanding that the PM convene an emergency sitting of Parliament within 48 hours to discuss the Israeli attack and we also want to know the government's plan to save the Malaysians being held by the Israeli authorities," he said.
These were part of a four-point open demand issued to the government today following the attack yesterday. At least 19 volunteers, on board Mivi Mamara, were killed while 30 others were injured.
Mahfuz also said PAS was giving the government 48 hours to terminate its contract with public relations company Apco Worldwide, which, he alleged, was a proxy company for Israel-American's self-interest.
"They (the government) has 48 hours to terminate the contract with Apco.
"We want the government to stop all economic dealings, official or otherwise, with Israel immediately," he said.
Too friendly with the US
After their rally, the Pakatan leaders handed a memorandum to the US Embassy to condemn the attack.
Also present were Batu MP Tian Chua, Kubang Kerian MP Salahuddin Ayub, Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah, Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin and Titiwangsa MP Dr Lo' Lo' Ghazali.
Their memorandum was received by the embassy's political counsellor Brian McFeeters.
Nurul Izzah said the US should take a stronger stand against Israel in the aftermath of this attack instead of just expressing regret.
"Post-Apco, Malaysia is seen to be too friendly with the US. The government is even reprimanding Iran over its peaceful nuclear energy project."
"We find it very disturbing that our government is dragging its feet over the attack even though there are Malaysians affected by this as well."
She added that Pakatan leaders will hold a special meeting later today, which will be chaired by Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Be careful what you ask for! A guy with a 25-inch p****k went to a doctor and said, "I can't live with this anymore! It's too long."
The doctor replied, "I can't do anything for you, but if you see the witch doctor in the bayou, she can help you."
So, he went to the bayou and saw the witch doctor.
The witch doctor said, "Go into the swamp and you will find a female frog there. Ask her to marry you..she'll say "No".. and you'll lose 5 inches off your member!"
So, he went to the swamp and found the frog and asked her,"Will you marry me?"
"No!", she said.
He lost 5 inches off his member!
The guy liked the results, and thought, 20 inches is just too much. So he asked the frog again, "Will you marry me?"
The frog said, "No!"
And the guy lost another 5 inches.
He thought, God, 15 inches is great! But 10 inches would just be perfect.
So he asked again, "Will you marry me?"
And the frog said, "How many time do I have to tell you . .. NO! NO! NO!"
The moral of the story is KNOW WHEN TO QUIT. It appears that some will only quit from their expired positions when they lose all of the little morale that they have left.
On a more serious note, the latest cabinet reshuffle as reported HERE in The Star:
The following are the changes, which take effect on Friday:
1. Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha appointed Transport Minister replacing Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.
2. Datuk Chor Chee Heung appointed Housing and Local Government Minister. The post was previously held by Kong.
3. Chua Tee Yong appointed Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister.
4. Senator Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai appointed Deputy Finance Minister.
5. Gan Ping Sieu appointed Deputy Youth and Sports Minister.
6. Senator Datuk Maglin Dennis D'Cruz is Deputy Information Minister.
7. Datuk G. Palanivel is Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister.
8. Datuk Richard Riot is Deputy Foreign Minister.
9. Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim is Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister.
10. Jelaing Mersat is Deputy Transport Minister.
11. Datuk Lee Chee Leong is Deputy Home Minister.
12. Senator Heng Seai Kie is the Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister.
In this minor cabinet reshuffle, the PM brought in six new faces were brought in and two replaced - MCA's Ong Tee Keat and Wee Jack Seng.
Out of the twelve, six are Chinese. Hmm... Is this the not so subtle way to win Chinese support?
Umno Youth chief has again missed the boat in this minor cabinet reshuffle - a bitter pill to swallow for KJ. Why is KJ being sidelined again? How do you all feel about this?
How can CSL's son who is not even a one term MP be given a Deputy Ministership and NOT KJ? Did the father give up his crown for the son???
How come Datuk Wira Chor Chee Heung was today named the Housing and Local Government Minister despite being among the politicians who came under fire during the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) saga?
Will the PKFZ issue be buried now that Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat has been dropped as Transport Minister?
From the list, we can see that Sarawak United People's Party central working committee member Richard Riot, who is also Serian MP, has been appointed deputy foreign minister, replacing Lee Chee Leong who would now assume the post of deputy home minister, previously held by Jelaing Mersat.
As expected MIC deputy-president G Palanivel, a senator, has been made deputy plantation, industries and commodities minister, an additional post to the existing deputy Hamzah Zainudin.
All these overtures seem to be token offerings to give the impression that they are meeting the needs of the various communities when in actual fact, we know who IS still in control. After all, let us not forget who were the ones were gave the go-head for the government's decision to relocate the Tanjong Pagar railway station in Singapore. Will these new leaders have any clout in the Cabinet?
At a time when we are facing imminent subsidy cuts, the PM has expanded the cabinet thereby incurring extra expenses? Such a move is totally incongruent with Datuk Seri Idris Jala's warning that our nation is likely to be bankrupt by 2019. Oh - I forgot - our PM said we can realize Wawasan 2020. So what are we to believe???
According to The Malaysian Insider:
DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang said Najib was now leading a government with "the most number of senators" and had failed to stick to his "people first, performance now" pledge with the mini-reshuffle.
It appears that for some, this reshuffle is like a consolation prize for losing in other areas. Will a larger number of ministers/deputy ministers mean a stronger Cabinet or a stronger liability in terms of $$$ spent for an already inflated Cabinet which cannot even flex its weak and feeble muscles? Do you think such a line-up inspires a brighter future for our country?
Are we expected to be happy and clapping with a standing ovation for this cabinet reshuffle????

International leaders have been queuing up to attack Israel in the aftermath of yesterday's gun-battle aboard a Turkish aid ship heading for Gaza, which left at least nine people dead. From Ankara to Brussels the condemnation of the only long-standing democracy in the Middle East has been swift and unequivocal. Both the United Nations and European Union have engaged in a frenzy of denunciation, even before all the facts have been established. For the UN especially, Israel continues to be its favourite whipping boy, the target of no less than 26 resolutions passed by the morally bankrupt UN Human Rights Commission since it was established in 2006.
As video evidence clearly shows however, the Israeli soldiers who boarded the ship acted in self-defence after being set upon by extraordinarily violent "peace activists", armed with iron bars, knives, a firebomb and other weapons. Israel's critics call it "disproportionate force", but the action taken by the Israeli military under extreme provocation would probably have been taken by Western forces in a similar life-threatening situation. It is highly doubtful the Israelis had any original intent at all of using maximum force, with full awareness that any kind of fatal confrontation would result immediately in an international outcry.
If the "international community" really cared about the people of Gaza as opposed to exploiting a tragedy for the purposes of demonising Israel, it would call on Hamas to renounce terrorism, recognise Israel, and lay down its arms. The blockade of Gaza is there for a good reason – to prevent terrorist attacks against Israel by a vicious and barbaric terrorist group armed and funded by Iran. I would hope that politicians on both sides of the Atlantic will hold back and consider the full picture, before blindly following the UN, EU and Arab League lynch mob as they bay for Israel's blood.
The so-called peaceful leftists and Pro-Gaza activists who attacked the Israeli soldiers today with pipes, metal rods and chairs belong to a terrorist-linked organization. The International Humanitarian Fund (IHH), which plays a central role in organizing the Gaza Flotilla, is a Turkish humanitarian relief fund with a radical Islamic anti-Western orientation. The president of IHH (Bulent Yildirim) recruited "Jihad warriors" and transferred firearms, and explosives to Al Qaeda and other Islamic terrorists organizations. For some strange reason the state-run media forgot to mention this in their reports today? Here is one video that shows the Gaza Flotilla activists chanting "Kill the Jews". Source: Nile Gardiner in The Telegraph

-FMT
Akhirnya YB Manickavasagam terperangkap sendiri.

June 1 is the 152nd day of the year (153rd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 213 days remaining until the end of the year. In both common and leap years, no other month begins on the same day of the week as June. This month and May are the only two months that have this. The June birth flower is the rose, or the honeysuckle, as roses and honeysuckles bloom throughout June. June is also sometimes called the "Rose month."
June is known for the large number of marriages that occur over the course of the month. According to one etymology, June is named after Juno (Hera). Juno was the goddess of marriage and a married couple's household, so some consider it good luck to be married in this month
June's birthstone is the pearl, the Moonstone (gemstone), and the Alexandrite. The meaning is health and longevity.
Its birth flower is the rose.
