because they are not pure malays. because only the orang asli are the real bumiputera.

'Real Malays' please stand up

Meanwhile, Shafie also made a slight nod to Najib Razak's call for inclusiveness; his colleagues Zahid and fellow vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein however were cooler on the matter, except in jest.

Commenting on Najib's mention of how Malays of different descents are still Malays, Hishammuddin made a big show about how his cousin did not mention those of Turkish descent.

In a light-hearted moment, the home minister said, (Malacca chief minister) Ali Rustam is Bengali Malay, (Perak Menteri Besar) Zambry Abdul Kadir is a mamak Malay, (Sabah chief minister) Musa (Aman) is a Pakistan Dusun Malay. (Umno Putera chief) Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, status unknown.

"This is the great thing about Malays, the greatness of Umno and the inclusiveness of Umno," he said, also referring to Shafie as "Semporna lanun (pirate)," quipped Hishammuddin.

Running with the joke, Zahid got the delegates in stitches by mentioning a few other leaders from the Malay-only party, including Wanita chief Shahrizat Jalil.

Not to be left out, deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin told the delegates that he comes from Bugis-Javanese parentage "of which the result is Malay".

Najib finally jumped in calling Muhyiddin, Shafie and Hishammuddin "the Javanese, the Turkish and the pirate."

the above was  part of  malaysiakini's report 'umno to free penang from DAP neo-colonization'.

how can these bigwigs who are not pure malays claim they are bumiputera malays in our bolehland and wanna claim the 30% equity lah, uphold article 153 lah, stick to the social contract lah (which is actually non existent), fight for malay rights lah.

as with reference to the heading of the report – about these pendatang wanting to become heroes to free penang from neo-colonization, i had already talked about this in facebook. this was what i wrote;

as a penangite, i'm so glad when PR took over on march 8, 2008… because that day we were free from UMNO colonization of penang. i will never ever want to see umno taking penang again. i'd rather PAS do it! we don't need you to save penang, zahid, we are so very comfortable with the penang now – ruled by PR.

some comments i received talked about this zahid (the one who wanted to free penang) – farting from his mouth! indeed! what bullshit was he talking about? as someone else said, it is the best umno joke so far!! if not mistaken zahid (umno vice president and penang party chairman) was also the one who farted that certain ulama in penang mosques had been replacing penang's CM, LGE's name with the agong's name.  and he was proven wrong!! well for this one he is very wrong too – come GE13, umno will be kicked out again! penangites don't want umno to colonized us after 50 years of colonizing us while enrriching them!!!

Jemaah Dibenar Menggunakan Tren Al-Mashair Hanya Pada Hari Al-Tarwiyah

-- BERNAMA

All pilgrims to use Haj train on Al-Tarwiyah Day

MAKKAH: All pilgrims will be allowed to use the "Al-Mashair Train" only on the day of "Al-Tarwiyah", the day when pilgrims sacrifice animals, according to Dr. Sahal Al-Saban, Assistant Undersecretary for Haj Affairs at the Ministry of Haj.

When pilgrims descend from Mount Arafat to Muzdalifa, the train will then only be used by targeted groups, including domestic pilgrims and those coming from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and traveling by land, according to a report in Al-Madina newspaper. He said the train is expected to significantly reduce the number of cars heading to the holy shrines. Only those with authorized Haj permits will be allowed to enter the stations and adjoining areas. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Haj has approved 25 new locations for Haj pilgrim firms that were forced to move to make way for the Holy Sites Train. The firms all serve domestic pilgrims.

Al-Saban said that Holy Sites Train stations at domestic pilgrim Haj camps were ready.

"The projects which pilgrims will be able to use in this year's Haj are the train and shuttle trips serving Turkish pilgrims and pilgrims coming from Europe, Australia, America and Asia," he said. Al-Saban added that 750,000 pilgrims will be transported by the SR320 million shuttles, up from 500,000 in last year's Haj.

Kelantan BN chief Mustapha Mohamad today gave his assurance that government officers and NGOs will be helping the coalition win the upcoming Galas state by-election.
Speaking after Mustapa and in referring to the award of RM180 million and government land to build the People's Housing Project (PPR) in Taman Manis near Gua Musang announced by Muhyiddin this morning, Galas elections director and Gua Musang Umno chief Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said the people of Galas must ensure that BN wins in order to repay the coalition's efforts in bringing into the constituency much-needed development.
Ku Li said that BN did not come empty-handed as they had come bearing gifts of land. The former finance minister urged the people of Galas, saying, "We are treated in a special way - we were given land, (so) we must repay them as they are special as well."

For over 50 years, Umno-BN hasn't changed. Ku Li hasn't changed.
The rakyat must and can change! Say 'NO' anarchism!

A Talk On Currency Exchange Rates At Wang Ming MAF

Posted: 24 Oct 2010 07:18 AM PDT

Amidst rising tensions globally on currency exchange rates, I was invited by MAF of Wang Ming Methodist Church to share with them on currencies.

The 40-minute talk took the audience to 1944 when the Bretton Woods System was established and then back to the present when issues like worsening currency wars between the West and the Eastare confronting the globe. I also touched on the much-talked about internationalisation of Ringgit which has been hotly debated in the press.

G20 met in Korea over this weekend to try to thrash out this global burning issue. On one side is Uncle Sam and the other, China. The issue in the focal point is the greenback and Yuan. Expectedly, the meeting was not fruitful at all.

Is internationalisation of Ringgit that bad at all as claimed by Tun DM? Would Malaysia be vulnerable to speculative attacks if we let Ringgit be fully uncontrolled? Maybe we ought to go on gradual basis to open up our currency.

Certain stuff in my talk might be a bit tough to gobble. Anyway, I hope the fellowshippers had benefited from my talk.

The picture shows me taking question on currency investment in AUD, CAD and USD.

Saboteurs within Umno

Posted: 24 Oct 2010 06:29 AM PDT

Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said in Galas on Sunday that Umno members should stop sabotaging their own party, especially during by-elections if the leaders of their choice are not made candidates.

"I give my assurance that there wont be any more acts of sabotage during campaign for Galas state constituency by-election." (read Bernama).

I dont know what he meant. Were Pemuda members involved in such acts in the past or whether he acknowledged that such activities had taken place somewhere during the previous 12 by-elections.

However, I agree to the fact that there are many saboteurs in Umno, and those involved are not only members at the grassroots but also at the mid and top levels. In previous general elections and by-elections, there were reports of such activities but no severe actions were taken.

We got to admit the fact that there are 'sour grapes' within the party. Those denied a place at a branch, division and other party position may lose their heads and will form their own groupings while remaining as party members.

I know some cases where Umno division heads launch a backstabbing policy to ousted their own deputies or secretaries elected as State Assemblymen or Members of Parliament. Most division heads are of the perception that since they head their respective divisions, they should be elected to a State Assembly or the Parliament.

I think Umno President Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak failed to tick this issue during the just concluded general assembly. He should realise that this 'virus' is spreading and could at anytime ruin the beloved party.

Yes, we should not be ignorance of saboteurs within Umno. We lost a lot of seats during the last general elections, partly because Umno members chose to vote the Opposition. And there are still too many of them out there.

Nope. It is not an easy task but if we fail to contain such acts, it would turn into a tumor and Umno would be very much affected later on.

However, have we ever wondered why these 'sour grapes' are going all out to secure a position in the party, by all ways and means? The answer is POWER and MONEY!

Do I have to say more?

The Gritty Auntie

Posted: 24 Oct 2010 05:59 AM PDT

The running bug has really bitten wifey big time! This morning after coming home from Sunday school, she suddenly turns to me and says,

'Sayang, I want to go running this evening'

I look at her with disbelieve cos today is our rest day. We normally have a heavy training session on Saturdays and we make it a point to rest on Sundays. I thought she was just kidding, but she wasn't.

I wasn't too keen to go cos I just did a speed run of 10KM run yesterday and my body wasn't tuned to run on my rest day but she was really so eager to run. In fact, she did a 7km run yesterday and I thought she would also be tired but I guess she wasn't ... LOL!

So, with a small hint, no, make that a huge hint of laziness, I drag my lazy butt out of bed just after my usual Sunday noon nap and we head to the nearby municipal stadium. I could always just sit in the stands and read my herbal weight loss products brochure but I decided to put on my shoes and run along with her.

It turned out to be quite a nice run with both of us doing an 8KM run around the stadium's running track. I'm sure of one thing though, tomorrow I am NOT going for my usual training session even if she beats the heck out of me ... hahaha!

I'm really surprised with her determination to run. Ever since she got into running she's been hard at it and she's getting better and better each day. One of these days I'm really not going to be able to keep up with her ... LOL!

Anyways, that wasn't really what I wanted to blog about. After my run while waiting for wifey to finish her run, I happened to see this elderly woman running around the track. Nothing really unusual about it expect that she was running with a pair of sneakers in her sarong and blouse with this gritty look of determination on her face.

I was amazed and was full of respect for her. It got me thinking about how people tell me all the time they can't run cos their legs are too painful or they don't have the time or they're too old for running. Well, this lady put each and everyone of their excuses to shame!

It just goes to show that if you WANT to run (or even work out), you don't need a host of excuses cos it's all whether you WANT to or not. You don't need a fancy pair of shoes or even a fancy pair of running gear. All you need is just determination and you're all done.

The next time anyone tells me they don't have the time to run or they're too old to run, I'll show them this picture of this determined elderly lady. By the way, she did at least 6 rounds of running by my count. When we left for home, she was still hard at it. Good for you auntie!

Determination ...

Ada Ayam Bertaji Lima Di Kelantan

Posted: 24 Oct 2010 05:50 AM PDT

Ayam Jantan Milik Azrul Punya Lima Taji
