Najib is Malaysia's most dangerous man!

"This deliberate attempt by Putrajaya to cause turmoil in Selangor is reminiscent of the debacle that Najib engineered in Perak last year. The ousted Perak Menteri Besar Nizar Jamaluddin who suffered at the hands of Najib has already warned Selangor of the fate that will befall them if they do not take precautions. If Najib was surprised at the way the rakyat reacted to his machinations, none was more surprised than the Sultan of Perak. His Royal Highness was taken aback at how Najib managed to galvanise the rakyat. In the end, evil may have triumphed but as they say, elephants never forget…..and others might even add, they never forgive either. Najib is desperate. And a desperate man will resort to desperate measures," - by MARIAM MOKHTAR, Malaysia Chronicle.

Holy Toledo! Read the rest of her story here. She really blasted the Prime Minister. However, knowing Malaysia Chronicle and on which side they are, it came as no surprise.

"This man is dangerous. He was not elected as Prime Minister and has no known credentials of being a leader. Being a career politician by piggy-backing on the name of his father is no real test of leadership. What true experience has he of the real world?

No leader blatantly offers the people of a town RM5 million in exchange for votes. No leader tries to influence voting by offering to repair schools. Broken-down schools should be repaired as a matter of course.

Najib's cabinet is in disarray and tainted with known charges of corruption, sexual scandals including rape, and mismanagement of the public purse..."

I think Najib is already immune to it. There are so many of them now i.e Malaysiakini, Free Malaysia Today and others.

Where does this MARIAM stay? In Singapore? Or Australia? Or could it be China, Alaska or Vladivostok?

More Muslim violence against Christians

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 08:30 AM PST

We are witnessing martyrs for the faith in our own time. In the latest string of attacks on Christians in the Middle East by Muslim extremists. A car bomb exploded last night [New Year's Eve] outside a Coptic church in Alexandria, Egypt, just before Mass ended. The death toll from the bloody attack is, for now, 21 dead and 43 wounded.

...many of the faithful gathered outside the charred remains of the car singing "We offer our lives and our blood through the Cross." On October 31, Al Qaeda attacked and killed Assyrian Catholics in a church in Iraq during Mass. They made a promise to rid Iraq of Christians; they're succeeding.

The Islamic effort to cleanse the Middle East by Christians has increased," writes a Coptic website. In a statement published by the Egyptian press, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has appealed to Egyptians, "Copts and Muslims, to maintain their unity in the face of the terrorist forces that undermine the stability of the homeland and its unity.

Pope Benedict XVI has invited the leaders of the world's religions to come together at a summit planned for October 25, 2011 with the theme of working toward world peace. This date will mark the 25th anniversary of a similar summit convened by John Paul II in Assisi in 1986.

Benedict told pilgrims and tourists in St Peter's Square the aim of the meeting would be to "solemnly renew the commitment of believers of every religion to live their own religious faith in the service of the cause for peace."

World leaders can make promises to try and contain their more radical members, but we all know extremists desire only to destroy, not to cooperate with peacemakers. The leaders at the summit ought to condemn the acts of their radical members. To speak of peace without reference to the destruction perpetrated on innocents is like burying one's head in the sand. It does no good.

It really doesn't matter if you agree with the Catholic faith and its practices, or whether you think the Pope is the devil. No one should be killed because of his or her religious beliefs. Just as the first Christian martyrs were slaughtered simply because they followed Jesus, so too our present day Christian brothers and sisters in humanity are being murdered for their faith. No religion would approve of attacks in Egypt

Hesham Hassaballa, author of the blog "God Faith and a Pen" writes, which is definitely blasphemous to Christians: "Muslims worship the very same God as the Coptic Christians. Muslims honor and revere Master Jesus Christ as well". "Master?", please give me a break, Christ is no "Master" as described by you. He is the Lord, God of the Universe. You, once again are too late in History, you insult our faith by referring to him as "Master"! You might as well be a suicide bomber.

No you don't get away with this, Christ is the Son of God. Most Muslims do not know what the others believe in. Muslims do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, they that are so late in history. Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, Muslims do not. So please stop your proselytizing something the Christians will never believe in. If you worship the same Lord God of the Christians as you say, you are not a Muslim, but a Christian, so much for your effort. You just got blown away by the truth and Christian civilization, very much earlier than your existence. On a further note, ask yourself how are the minorities in the 57 OIC countries on Earth are treated by Muslims, compare that with how Muslims are treated in Christian countries.

I think a lot of Christians are wise to "Bullshit"..................................................... and obfuscation.

Stoned Sea Birds

There was a biology student who was studying equilibrium in sea birds. He proposed that giving measured doses of various hallucinogenic substances and observing their flight patterns would give some insight to the problems of equilibrium in three dimensional space. This tale taking place in a more liberal era, the student got the funding. He filled out mountains of forms, set up a lab with a supply of sea birds, and proceeded on his way. After a year of diligent work, groveling monthly before the review committee to get his stipend, and living with stoned sea birds, he completed his study.

With trembling hands, he delivered his 247 page report, complete with charts and graphs, to the review committee. This august body peruses his study, asking penetrating questions and reducing our student to jello. Finally, the department head rises. The light reflects off her steel rimmed glasses as she stares down at our student.

"There is a lot of good work here," she says. "But we can't accept this report. You have detailed marvelously the effects of all these substances on these sea birds, but you have no control group."

Our student turns pale and says, "You don't mean..."

"Yes. I'm afraid so. You left no tern unstoned."

Two Pieces of Tarmac

There's these two pieces of tarmac in a bar arguing over who's hardest.

First one goes, "I'm part of a driveway, I've got to be really strong in the mornings to hold the car up and again in the evenings when it comes home."

Second one goes " aghh ya wimp, I'm part of the M25. I'm dead strong, you don't last long if you're not, what with cars, lorries 'n' abnormal loads running over you all the time. And it never stops, morning, afternoon & night, I'm dead hard I am.

At that moment, this tiny piece of red tarmac enters the bar.

At this, the second piece of tarmac blanches, makes his excuses and runs for the door. The first piece of tarmac downs his pint & follows him out. "What's wrong?" he asked.

The second piece of tarmac replied " It's that red piece of tarmac. I've seen him in action before, he's a utter nutter, violent as f**k.

He's a cyclepath."

Bjorn the Viking

Bjorn the viking is about to set off for yet another raiding party to the Islands across the sea. On his way down to the long boat he bumps into his mother Helga. She looks up at him (for he is very tall and handsome) with her one good eye and says .. "Are you going to bring back a present for your poor blind mother ?" she says to him.

"Of course mama" he replies "what do you want ?". "I'd love one of those newfangled devices they have for washing the dishes, it's a metal container you fill with water, and it has a ledge you place the plates and pots on after you've finished".

So Bjorn, with this description firmly in his mind sets off across the sea, telling all his friends how he will honour his fathers, grandfathers, and return with a great prize for his mother.

Once in England he gets down to the job of rape and pillage with an enthusiastic, if somewhat blood curdling scream. A few villages are burnt, dozens of maidens are taken, much gold is recovered.

With all this going on Bjorn forgets about his promise to his mother until he is making his way back to the boat, through the ruins of a building site. Eric (his life long friend) turns to him and reminds him of this.

Aghast, Bjorn quickly looks around for some gift for his mother, and all he can find is a pole with a cradle attached for carrying bricks around the new houses being built.

Back on the boat Eric turns to Bjorn and says "What's that you have Bjorn, that's not what you promised your mother". Bjorn is not concerned and replies "Don't fear old friend I am sure my mother will be equally happy with this gift".

When they get home Helga is indead very pleased with the gift, which just goes to show .. a hod is as good as a sink to a blind norse.

Five minutes later and he's back " Are you sure everything's OK?"

"So what's with the long faces then?", enquires the waiter.

Surat Diplomasi Rasulullah Kepada Raja Dan Penguasa Dunia

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 09:24 AM PST

MCMC double standard: Fast action against Rocky, no action against Rais

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 07:24 AM PST

Blogger Ahirudin Attan demands to know why the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has yet to act on the allegations of rape against Information, Communication and Culture Minister Rais Yatim that had spread like wildfire over the Internet since Ahirudin, on Dec 23, had posted in his blog Rocky's Bru and hinted that a senior cabinet member was alleged to have raped his maid in 2007.

This, said Ahirudin, was contrary to past actions of MCMC, when the cyberspace watchdog had acted swiftly when a police report was filed against him.

Ahirudin told Malaysiakini when contacted today, that MCMC had to investigate the allegations as blogs came under the  purview of MCMC.

Michael Coren: Killing Christians becomes painfully routine

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 07:22 AM PST

By Michael Coren

The bomb that killed at least 21 Egyptian Christians on New Year's morning was packed with sharpened metal, iron balls and razor wire. Many of those that the device didn't rip to death will never see, walk or function properly ever again. With terrorist bombs, euphemisms such as "wounded" and "traumatized" are hideously misplaced. These are not, however, the only banalities being tossed around when this latest attack is discussed. Words like "rare," "surprise," and "extremist" seem similarly absurd to those who know anything about the plight of Christians in large chunks of the Muslim world. Remember, more than 50 Iraqi Catholics were murdered in November; on Christmas Day in the southern Philippines on a Muslim-dominated island a church was bombed and parishioners hurt; and in Pakistan just weeks ago a 45-year-old Christian mother of five, Asia Bibi, was sentenced to death for "defaming the Prophet." Not bad for a little over a month!

It has all become so painfully routine as to appear almost predictable. In Pakistan, churches have been destroyed, Christians lynched, children forcibly converted. Catholics and Anglicans have been denied jobs, government support, housing and the most basic human rights. In Egypt, many of the eight million Christians face daily harassment in a country of 70 million Muslims, with periodic violence — often deadly — and police indifference, and even support, for mob attacks. One particularly sinister aspect to the Egyptian mass persecution is the difficulty Christians now face in obtaining exit visas, conjuring up dark echoes of previous campaign against German and Soviet Jews.

Father Raymond J. de Souza: Christians may need to start fighting back

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 07:12 AM PST

January 6, 2011 – 9:13 am

The new year was only a few hours old when the question of Islamist fanaticism and violence literally exploded anew, this time in Alexandria, Egypt. Violence by jihadist radicals has become the dominant issue of this young century. The massacre in Baghdad just 10 weeks ago reminded the world about the killing of Christians by Muslims — as catalogued by my colleague Michael Coren. What is to be done about it?

Jan. 1 is marked in the Catholic Church as the World Day of Peace, for which the pope issues an annual message. The theme Benedict XVI chose for this year was religious liberty. His words were made terribly relevant even before the sun rose on 2011.

Related

"I wish to say a word to the Christian communities suffering from persecution, discrimination, violence and intolerance, particularly in Asia, in Africa, in the Middle East and especially in the Holy Land, a place chosen and blessed by God," he wrote. "I ask all those in authority to act promptly to end every injustice against the Christians living in those lands. In the face of present difficulties, may Christ's followers not lose heart."

U.S. Army denies beard exception for Jews, allows it for Muslims

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 06:58 AM PST

Could it be that the Army fears offending Muslims but knows that Jews will not react with irrational violence to being denied their wishes? Naaah, couldn't be...

"NYC rabbi sues Army over no-beard policy: Menachem M. Stern cites rule waiver for Sikhs, Muslim in lawsuit," by Joe Gould in Army Times, January 2 (thanks to Weasel Zippers):

A rabbi from Brooklyn, N.Y., is suing the Army over its "no-beard" policy, claiming the service violated his religious freedoms when it rejected him because he refuses to shave.

Menachem M. Stern's lawsuit argues the Army is discriminating against him because it has waived the "no-beard" rule for several Sikhs and a Muslim, but not for him. Advocates hope the case, if successful, will pave the way for more bearded rabbis to become chaplains and minister to historically underserved Jewish soldiers.

"While they're stalling me, they're taking in other religions, for instance, Sikhs and Muslims with beards and turbans at the same time," Stern said. "At that point, my question became, 'Who says yes and who says no?' It shows how in a great institution such as the Army, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing."...

Or maybe they know all too well. Hat tip: Jihad Watch

The Democracy Index 2010: Democracy in retreat

Democracy Index 2010The results of the Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index 2010 show a decline in democracy across the world's regions since 2008. The economic and financial crisis boosted some authoritarian regimes and accentuated existing negative political trends, most notably in Europe, both east and west.

From MKini: We have taken a slight tumble down the Economist Intelligence Unit's 2010 Democracy Index, slipping three places to number 71 out of 167 countries and placed in the "flawed democracy" category.

Flawed democracies are countries that have "free and fair elections" and respect "basic civil liberties", but face "problems such as infringements on media freedom".

Such countries also have "significant weaknesses in other aspects of democracy, including problems in governance, an underdeveloped political culture and low levels of political participation", the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) index shows.

The score is an average of points garnered in five different categories: electoral processes and pluralism, civil liberties, functioning government, political participation and political culture.

Media freedom wanting

Political cultures in Asia, it notes, are "often underdeveloped and shallow", even in countries considered to be democracies.

Special mention was made of the deterioration of media freedom in Mxxx, placing it beside Fiji, Sri Lanka and Thailand, where there is "often pressure on the independent media".

Topping the index is Norway, with an overall score of 9.8, while South Korea leads Asia in the index at 20th spot, with 8.11 points.

Southeast Asia's youngest nation Timor Leste leads the region at number 42 (7.22 points) while Thailand comes up tops among Asean countries at 57th spot (6.55) followed by Indonesia, which is ranked 60th (6.53).

Nevertheless, Malaysia trumped Singapore by 19 places. With a dismal 5.89 points, the island-state was ranked 82nd,, making it to the "hybrid regime" where "elections have substantial irregularities that often prevent them from being both free and fair".

Waspada: Wang Dikeluarkan Dari ATM Lesap Kerana Tidak Menunggu Lama

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 07:00 AM PST

(sarawakupdate/GB)

Kes Menteri Perogol: Rocky's Bru Bidas SKMM Kerana "Double Standard"

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 06:00 AM PST

Nah kini, apa tunggu lagi?

Sekarang kewibawaan SKMM nyata terlalu hanyir.

Toy Safety and Injury Prevention

Toy Safety and Injury Prevention from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

Billions of toys to amuse children of all ages are sold each year in the US. Unfortunately, toys also are associated with thousands of injuries each year, some of which result in death. Children ages 4 and under are especially at risk for injury from toys. Injuries can range from falling, choking, strangulation, burning, drowning and even poisoning. However, the leading cause of toy-related death is choking, usually on latex balloons.

Injury often results when a toy is misused or used by children who are too young for that particular toy. Toys with small parts, designed for older children, can cause choking when a small child puts this toy in his/her mouth. Knowing what dangers are associated with certain toys and age groups can help you better protect your child from toy injuries.

Toy Recommendations

When selecting toys for your child, consider the following recommendations:

  1. Choose toys that are age-appropriate and meet your child's skill level and interest (read the toy's labeling).
  2. Use mylar balloons instead of latex balloons because of the danger of suffocation. Children under the age of eight should not be allowed to play with uninflated latex balloons.
  3. Strings, straps and cords on any toy should be less than 7 inches long to prevent strangulation. Remove crib mobiles when your infant is able to pull up on his or her hands and knees (usually about 5 months old).
  4. Children under 16 years of age should not use high-velocity BB or pellet guns; there are approximately four deaths per year in the U.S. caused by such guns.
  5. Children should be closely supervised when playing with cap guns. They may cause burns as well as noise damage if they are fired closer than one foot to the ear.
  6. Check toys regularly for damage and other hazards.
  7. Be involved in your child's play.
  8. Store toys intended for older children separately from toys used by younger children.
  9. Use a small parts tester to determine which small toys or parts are choking hazards to children under age 3. If an object fits into the tester, it is unsafe. If you do not own a small parts tester, you may use the cardboard tube from inside a roll of paper towels or bathroom tissue; again, if an object is able to fit inside the tube, it is a choking hazard and not appropriate for young children.
  10. Make sure toys are used in safe environments. Keep riding toys away from stairs and bodies of water.
  11. Children should always wear helmets when roller skating or using ride-on toys such as bicycles, tricycles, scooters and skateboards.
  12. Discard packing materials from new toys immediately. Plastic bags, foam peanuts, staples, nails and wire ties are all safety hazards.

Stay up-to-date on toy recalls through the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (www.cpsc.gov) or through the US Government's online recall page (www.recalls.gov). Supervising your child's play, in addition to following the recommendations made by toy manufacturers could save lives.

Toy Injury Statistics and Incidence Rates

The following statistics are the latest available from the National SAFE KIDS Campaign and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Injury and death rates:

  1. At least 16 children ages 9 and under died in 2004 from toy-related injuries.
  2. Approximately 161,100 children, ages 14 and under, were treated at hospital emergency rooms for toy-related injuries in 2004. Almost half of the children treated for these injuries (45 percent) were ages 4 and under.
  3. Most toy-related injuries do not require hospitalization (97 percent).

Causes:

  1. Choking is the leading cause of toy-related death.
  2. Almost half of the reported toy-related deaths in 2004 were due to choking or suffocation. Most of these deaths were attributed to toy balls, latex balloons and game dice.
  3. Other causes of toy-related deaths in 2004 included drowning, suffocation, strangulation, and riding toy accidents (such as when a child is hit by a motor vehicle while riding a toy, or when the child rides a toy into a body of water).
  4. Riding toys are responsible for the majority of toy injuries among children ages 14 and under.
  5. The vast majority of riding toy-related injuries in 2004 were associated with unpowered scooters.

Where and when:

  1. Many toy-related injuries occur in and around the home.
  2. Approximately half of all toy-related injuries (46 percent) occur to the head and face area.

Who:

  1. In 2004, children under age 5 accounted for 35 pecent of all toy-related injuries.
  2. Boys tend to sustain more toy-related injuries (58 percent) than girls.
  3. Children under age 3 are at greater risk for choking on toys than older children, due to their tendency to put everything in their mouths. In addition, the airways of children under age 3 are smaller than those of older children.

Product recalls:

  1. In 2004, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced 279 recalls involving about 40 million consumer product units that either violated mandatory safety standards or presented a significant risk of injury to the public. These recalls included ride-on toys (70,000), toy jewelry (150 million) and radio-controlled toy vehicles (300,000).

Infant Safety Tips (Source:Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center)

Listed below are a few reminders on how to keep your baby safe at home.

Avoid leaving your infant alone.

  1. Never leave your baby at home alone. If no other adult is at home, take your baby with you.
  2. Only leave your baby alone in a room when he/she is in a crib or a playpen.
  3. Stay with your baby when he/she is on a dressing table, bed or couch. Stay near your baby when he/she is an infant seat, swing or high chair.
  4. Never leave your baby alone in a room with a dog or cat or any uncaged pet. The pet could injure your baby.

Keep harmful objects out of reach.

  1. Remove any strings that are on the bottom of the sleeping gowns. Strings can stop your baby's circulation if they become wrapped around the baby's neck and toes.
  2. Keep objects that may be swallowed, such as marbles, plastic bags, toys with buttons and balloons, away from your baby.
  3. Crib spindles should be no more than 2-3/8 inches apart. Drop sides should lock securely in place when raised or lowered. Crib pads should be used to keep baby's arms and legs from poking between the spindles.
  4. Crib toys should be safe and not have parts that can be chewed off and swallowed. Place toys in the crib. Tying the toys to the crib is dangerous. The baby's neck, fingers or toes could become tangled in the string.
  5. Tying the pacifier around the baby's neck, to his/her clothes or to his/her bed is dangerous.
  6. Leaving a bucket of water and your baby alone in a room is dangerous. He/she could fall into the bucket headfirst and not be able to get out of the bucket.
  7. Once your baby begins to crawl and move around, put away breakable or valuable objects that he/she can reach. Close stairway doors or use safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs.
  8. When your baby is crawling or walking, a lollipop, toothbrush, spoon, stick or any long-handled object is dangerous. If he/she falls while the object is in his/her mouth or near the eyes, it could cause serious injury.
  9. Move cleaning products and medicines from your baby's reach or put safety locks on all lower cupboards. Remove any household plants (80 percent of all reported accidental poisonings involve children between the ages of 10-30 months).
  10. Cover unused electrical outlets with safety plugs. Hide electrical cords under rugs or behind furniture. Repair any frayed electrical cords. Keep your baby away from unused telephone jacks and disconnected telephone cords.

Handle your infant carefully.

  1. Hold your baby when you feed him/her. Propping the bottle or giving strained food through a bottle can cause choking and is dangerous.
  2. Stay with your baby when he/she is in the bathroom and while the water is running to fill the tub. Use a mat on the bottom of your tub to prevent your baby from slipping or use an infant tub. Check the water temperature on your wrist or elbow before putting your baby in the tub. If the water feels comfortable to your touch, it is probably safe for your baby.
  3. Shaking or throwing your baby in the air is dangerous and can hurt your baby. If you become frustrated or irritable when your baby cries a lot, or at any other time, talk with someone for emotional support. A trusted family member or friend may be able to watch your baby for a short period of time to give you a break if you are frustrated with your baby.

Harga Getah Naik Kes Curi Getah Pun Naik

Posted: 06 Jan 2011 05:11 AM PST
