Wow! Didn't realise it but it's been more than a year since I wrote anything here. Now, should I continue keying the words or should I just shut my trap and damned be to the world? Not that the alphabets I tap to form some (hopefully) legible words would make any difference, but one do sometime find the need to scream the lungs out if you know what I mean.

To be honest, been wanting to do this here for quite sometime now. Somehow though, there were always something or the other that made me held back my piece, and one of the culprits is an apps associated with an internet platform where quite a number of friends have migrated to, and strangely, one that I was trying to resists for umpteen years! Er...make that weeks. But in cyber world, guess that ought to count as a decade already, hehe. So, what am I doing back here then? Well, guess I do miss this blog of mine. As silly this blog may have been, it is, I believe, not repulsive as a certain video made available on the internet by a trio of people or people connected to the trio. Oops, hang on! This being my first tapping on the keyboard after a long time, I really do not want to go into this. Suffice to say, this link here echoed the very thought I have been putting to some. Must be said though, initially, a few of the some did not take well to my thoughts. But, so what?

OK, enough said for the moment. Wishing all is well with my blogging friends out there.

ps. Need to do some Spring Cleaning.

Why public funds used to defend Tricubes: BN stands for Binasa Nasional

Jala's agency commissioned double-page advertorials on the MyEmail project in major newspapers today. — file pice
KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 — Pakatan Rakyat (PR) today demanded the government explain why public funds were spent to buy newspaper advertorials defending the 1 Malaysia email project when it was a private initiative.
A two-page advertorial headlined "Truths and Lies about MyEmail" by the Performance Management & Delivery Unit (Pemandu) on the controversial project was published in major newspapers today.
"If it's a private initiative, then obviously advertisements and [efforts] pushing for its use should be done by the private company, instead of the government," Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad told The Malaysian Insider today.
"If it's private, (there) shouldn't be anything (that's) spent by the government. To me, it's propaganda," the PAS central political bureau member added.
Khalid said Tricubes ought to be the ones promoting its own project. — file pic
DAP publicity chief Tony Pua similarly denounced Pemandu's advertorial.
"I think it has come to a really silly stage where the government is spending tens of thousands in advertorials to defend a so-called private initiative because 'Pemandu believes in integrity and transparency'," said Pua.
"If that's really the case, then just disclose the request for proposal (RFP) documents from the government as well as the full contract terms and letter of award given to Tricubes. Publish them online and save the tens of thousands of tax-payers' money," the Petaling Jaya Utara MP added.
Pemandu refused to divulge the cost of the advertorial when questioned by The Malaysian Insider today.
"We have answered your question... I have nothing to add," Pemandu corporate communication chief Ku Kok Peng told The Malaysian Insider on the phone.
Pemandu also emailed a statement to The Malaysian Insider and said it commissioned the advertorials to "make sure that the general public is not misinformed by people who distort the truth."
In the advertorial, Pemandu CEO Senator Datuk Seri Idris Jala said Tricubes Bhd would invest 100 per cent of the RM50 million MyEmail project that was conceptualised as an Entry Point Project (EPP) under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
Jala also stressed that the government "will not spend a single sen" in the project's investment and operating costs.
"On the other hand, it is estimated that the government stands to save at least RM200 million over 10 years," he said.
He explained that government agencies would make savings of almost 50 per cent by paying 50 sen per email to accounts, as government agencies currently paid up to RM1 per mail and RM2 for each returned hardcopy correspondence.
Pua pointed out government agencies should instead encourage the public to register their own email accounts.
"Now you're paying 50 sen to someone else to send it [electronically]. Why not send it to (email) addresses provided by people and save the entire RM1?" asked Pua.
Pua said the 50 sen per email charge can be avoided entirely. — file pic
Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar agreed that Tricubes should be the one promoting the project, instead of Pemandu.
"Pemandu has had a horrible track record with regards to disclosing accurate information about their ongoing initiatives. Smells of rotten bailout if you ask me," said Nurul Izzah in a text message to The Malaysian Insider.
Pua also questioned why the government conducted a selection process if the project was merely a private initiative.
"If it's completely private, [they] don't need to go through Pemandu or Mampu (Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit). Just go to the government department and sell their services," said Pua.
Jala said today that the selection process was an assessment to find out which company would likely succeed in rolling out the email service.
"Other parties who are not selected or did not submit a proposal earlier can still pursue the opportunity if they see a viable business case for it," said Jala.
The Malaysian Insider reported last month that several firms were invited to bid for the 1 Malaysia email project last November and demonstrate an eventual 100 per cent take-up rate for the service.
Jala said the project's KPI to get a 100 per cent take-up rate for those above 18-years-old by 2015 was set by Tricubes itself.
"Tricubes has put a KPI of 100 per cent sign-up as a target and aspiration, though it is voluntary. There is nothing to prevent businesses from putting stretched targets," said the Pemandu CEO.
He also stressed that the government would not bail out financially-troubled Tricubes should its business fail.
Detractors have questioned why Tricubes, at risk of being delisted after its weak financial standing triggered Bursa Malaysia Securities' Guidance Note 3 (GN3) in October last year, was tapped to spearhead the project.
"Mampu and GITN's (Government Integrated Telecommunications Network) selection criteria were best-in-practice technology, sustainable business model, track record and security. Mampu and GITN adjudged that Tricubes met or surpassed these benchmarks," said Idris.
"They have also clarified with Bursa Malaysia that a GN3 status can affect Tricubes' listing status, but the company is not prevented from conducting business as usual," he added.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said recently that the project will have a gross national income (GNI) impact of RM39 million up to 2015 and allow direct and secure communications between Malaysian citizens and the government.
But critics say the government should focus on infrastructure projects  such as providing clean water or broadband across the country rather than a free email service which is already available through other providers.

1st Bn.Ranger gathering was held in Kuching from 29th Apr to 2nd May 2011

Posted: 06 May 2011 10:19 AM PDT

A 1st Bn.Ranger gathering was held in Kuching from 29th Apr to 2nd May 11. We were to take off in a private jet at 1500 hrs on 29th from Subang. B4 take off, the jet had a malfunction. Major (rtd) Syed Jamal, owner of Weststar, saved the situation by giving us his personal Gulfstream jet. We took off two hours late.

Gaya: Executive Jet (Click on image to enlarge)

We went straight to a BBQ function at HQ 3 Brigade at Penrissen where I have been Brigade Major at one time. Big show with everything thrown in. The BBQ was not imaginative. The tuak served was diluted with orange juice. Otherwise, spiritless. The function costs 1 Ranger RM 120,000.00. I thought that was crazy.

We got back to the Majestic Hotel on the River at 2359 hrs. The bar was to close at 0030 hrs. The manager was told to open the bar until the last Ranger officer crawled out, pissed. Col Yunus Ali Khan led the officers including the expats and their wives. Finished at 0300 hours.

B'fast on 30th Apri at 0830 hrs. We had group photo shoot at the Kuching Amphitheatre. I was told to parachute jump into the Amphitheatre, I buat bodoh lah. It followed by a tour of Kuching, Santubung (where we watched Sarawak dances for one hour. Most officers slept in the theatre), Museums and the Satok market where most of us bought pepper, Terubuk kering, asam kelubi for making umai, and terung Iban. Telur Terubuk kering was RM 54.00 per kg!! Got back with enough time for two beers at the bar. We were to assemble at the Majestic Hotel Ballroom which could take 1000 pax. The Rangers reported at 1800 hrs. The officers at 1830 hrs, and VIP/VVIPS at 1900 hrs. The organisers anticipated 700 pax, but 1000 came including wives and widows. No problem.

Seating plan was by A,B,C,D, HQ Companies. I was seated at Battalion HQ. Two war heroes sat with me - WO11 Kanang PGB, SP, and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) Jimba Anak Layang whom I had promoted RSM when I was in Command. It was unnerving for me coz my escort fixed by Jimba was the unmarried daughter of the late CSM Bunyam. She wore a low plunging neckline, and her goods were breath-taking!!

Kalam and I arrived at 1830 hrs sharp wearing Ranger uniforms with our green berets, staple belts, and hackles. So did Tan Sri Ahmad Johan. We did not wear our badges of ranks or our medals. We electrified the Rangers. There was a huge roar of approval. There were lots hugging and kissing, and my batman cried in my arms. Jimba and Kanang were choked with emotions. It took the best of my discipline to stop from bursting into tears. No Iban called me Apai Mike. I was addressed correctly as Penghulu Telajan (son of the warrior God). The sister of my late Chief Clerk, the elder sister of Tan Sri Leo Moggie cried on my shoulder.

It was a night of splendour. Draft beer and tuak flowed endlessly. There were traditional Iban and Kelabit dances. Music was provided by two bands. Chinese dinner was served. Great speeches were made. The 1st Commanding Officer, Col. Fairey Copsill could not come as he is 92 and unwell. He made a live telecast from UK. His wife came. B4 the presentation of the history of the Regiment on a large screen, the sounds of gunfire roared through the loud-speakers. Rifles, machine guns, mortars and APCs. I saw Major Pothu Nair in tears. What a reminder. All the Rangers, wives, and widows whose husband died in battle or in harness with the Regiment from any part of Sarawak were given free transportation, makan and accommodation. All widows were given an envelope of money worth quite a sum. All Peninsular officers and their families were given free return tickets by air, food and free accommodation at the 4 star Majestic Hotel. I went solo. The expats from UK were totally financed for the trip, their stay in KL, and Sarawak. The total cost came to RM 500,000. RM 1 mil was donated to 1Ranger Foundation. A new battery operated wheel chair was donated to the crippled Col. Dunstan Nyaring Angking. There were gifts and goodies galore.

On 1st May we were free to do things on our own by 1600 hrs. A few Peninsular officers went on a tour of Sarawak to see the places that we have served. Some flew back to KL, and the others continued their happy hours. Blardy heathens!!

The organisation in Kuching was under Col. Fabian Wong assisted by Majors Abit Berdendang, Willie Busu Mingat, and Walter Ted Wong Tedung.

Most of the Rangers and their wives, even at their advanced ages look robust with straight backs. RSM Jimba is 85, and he looks really good with a young wife. The officers who retired to office work look hp6 Most of the men work in timber logging industry and farm on their own. Its my imagination that the food they eat is very healthy. They eat beras huma (mountain rice), pork, fish, soy sauce, vegetables, ginger, garlic and fruits. Narrative and pics from Col Mike Nasir More pictures here....

Datuk T Kecut Kerana Takut Dirotan, Sebab Itu Eskay Buat Penafian Pernah Tuduh Anwar

Posted: 06 May 2011 09:25 AM PDT

Demikian lafaz sumpah Eskay. Allah jadi saksi. Wartawan pun jadi saksi.

Flashes Of Activity

Gee, the week went by in a flash! I can't even remember what I did the entire week. I'm normally excited during the weekends but not this week. This week will be spent sitting at my desk and working on a work project that involves tons and I mean tons and tons of formatting. I'm estimating it will take all weekend to finish it.

It's not something I'm looking forward to but it has to be done by Monday so all my plans for the weekend are on hold, even my running! Arrggghhh! It's a project that I'm actually right now regretting accepting and will definitely not accept it next year if called to participate in it.

The weather has taken a drastic turn from extreme thunderstorms to extreme dessert like conditions out there. It's been so hot for the past two or three days that I already have the symptoms of a sore throat. My throat has been so dry and it hurts to swallow and I know that I'm going to fall sick! I can feel it in my bones.

And to make matters worse, this evening while doing the groceries with wifey, we had dinner at this restaurant called Serai in Empire Shopping Gallery and like some idiot I went and ordered the Beef Redang Penne which was spicier than an x-rated movie! My throat is so gonna take revenge on me tomorrow!

My 'spicy' beef rendang penne ...
We've actually had dinner at this Serai place before and the food is pretty tasty with decent portions and not too pricey. I'd recommend you try it if you were ever in Empire and wanted a decent place to eat. The ambiance is also pretty neat though the seating arrangement was a little too close for my liking.

wifey's creme brulee and my crispy fried brinjal ...
I also made one observation about parking lots in malls. Almost all malls have parking lots reserved for the handicapped. And these parking lots are normally right near the entrance to the malls but oftentimes, well most of the time to be honest, I noticed that they all taken up by people with expensive cars like mercs, beemers and the like.

Now, I could be wrong, maybe they're all handicapped in some way and have the right to park there. But many a time I've seen these people in these big luxury cars parking there and walking like any normal person into the mall. For the life of me, I simply cannot see what is so handicapped about them, maybe they're handicapped in their freaking brains to not know or bother that parking for the handicapped are meant for people with REAL disabilities!

These people just want to make things easy for themselves. I'm not saying all people with luxury cars do park in these places but so far I've noticed that almost all of these able bodied morons are normally luxury car owners. Have a heart people, like I said, those bays are reserved for people with real disabilities.

With that said and done, have a happy weekend and spare a thought for a poor guy with a sore throat having to sit in front of his laptop and slave the weekend away working on this ROP project ... LOL!

Malaysia Tempat Terbaik Utk Kilang Nadir Bumi - Lynas Perli Kebebalan Menteri Malaysia

Posted: 06 May 2011 08:30 AM PDT

Malaysia tempat terbaik dunia bina kilang nadir bumi'

[Bergambar & Video] Video Seks - NGO Desak JAWI Kuatkuasakan Qazaf

"Kami meminta JAWI menguatkuasakan hukum qazaf.

DAP replacing Pas, says Hisham

Posted: 06 May 2011 06:25 AM PDT

Hishammuddin Hussein made good stinging remarks about the Pakatan Rakyat pact by saying the DAP can and will replace Pas as a prominent Opposition party by the next national poll, and the fact that the latter failed in Sarawak state election last month was due to its inability to spread wings to the East Malaysian state.

DAP too, according to the Umno Vice President cum Home Minister takes Pas for a free ride in order to improve its position in Sarawak, and soon in the general elections.

Many agree, and so do I. Pas is turned into a vehicle by DAP leadership like Lim Kit Siang, Karpal Singh dan Lim Guan Eng to pursue its politics of racism. Indeed, Pas is the right stooge for DAP when its spiritual leader Nik Aziz agreed to Guan Eng's disapproval of Islamic function such as the Maulidur Rasul.

"Pas is responsible for throwing itself to DAP. Pas is responsible for the disunity of the Malays. Pas is also the main reason for breaking up the Muslims... and this kind of politics is not suitable to the Malays and to Malaysians at large."

Hisham said this when officiating Pasir Puteh Umno division meeting today. He also turned a crowd puller when about 2,000 people attended it at Sekolah Menengah Kamil. And for the first time in many years, I am impressed with his speech.

Being the only Kelantan Umno Division meeting he agreed to officiate (he will be in Jerteh and Marang, Terengganu tomorrow), Pasir Puteh division is perhaps among the largest in the country, with 228 branches.

And having to officiate a grand division like this, it needs a real Umno leader to handle it, and Hisham in some ways managed to woo strong support for the party and for Barisan Nasional.

The last time I listened to such a punchy speech (not only from Hisham but from other Umno top leaders) was years ago. Nope, I am not standing by his balls as you need to be there to access him (not once but in many occasions).

His 'DAP will replace Pas' is also a warning to the Malays outside Umno that what DAP is doing now might lead to the demise of Pas if the latter loses it, and before it happens, Pas members and leaders should reconsider their political position with Pakatan Rakyat.

The Battle Lines Have Been Drawn

Posted: 06 May 2011 06:18 AM PDT

According to The Malaysian Insider HERE, "Datuk Seri Najib Razak told Selangor Umno to win back the country's wealthiest state with whatever "weapon was at their disposal", hinting elections was "just around the corner".Datuk Seri Najib Razak told Selangor Umno to win back the country's wealthiest state with whatever "weapon was at their disposal", hinting elections was "just around the corner"."

Well, it looks like the battle lines have been drawn and the the establishment is going into overdrive to psyche their members to take on an aggressive mode to reclaim what they lost in the last GE.

The article deserves closer scrutiny as it possibly reveals some Freudian slips.

In that link, the PM said they must not allow their image to continue to be besmirched and wallow because of the defeat but bounce back with a renewed determination to redeem themselves.

I do not think their defeat in the last GE has affected the image of UMNO. It's all in their own minds! In reality,  it is a case of the rakyat casting their votes which showed a preference for the Pakatan government and not the BN government.

It is glaringly clear that since the last GE, UMNO has been on the go to regain lost ground so there is no doubt about their renewed determination to redeem themselves. The results of the last few elections also bear testimony to this fact.

The next part of the article is cause for concern to us all:

Najib (picture), who is also Selangor Umno chief, said to ensure the BN took back the state, Selangor Umno members must use whatever "weapon was at their disposal".

He said if Umno could defeat the British in securing independence for the country, winning back Selangor was not too big a task for Selangor Umno.

Najib also reminded that under the democratic system, a party could not be assured of remaining in power forever.

"We must learn from history, because politics is a game of perception and numbers.

"For example, a state might have Malay majority voters, but it won't mean a thing if they are disunited," he said.

1. What did our PM mean by Selangor Umno members must use whatever "weapon was at their disposal"?

What weapon was he referring to? Are we at war? What a frightening statement! What was the purpose of such a statement?

Where is the democratic process in elections?

Any morally upright leader or political party would play by the ground rules and ensure fair play no matter what. Instead, what do we have here?

Threats do not work. At the end of the day, people will vote based on the effectiveness of a candidate/party. Power is in the hands of the rakyat and it is time the status quo recognizes that the rakyat are the masters and politicians are their servants to serve them instead of the other way around. The rakyat will not simply accept the dictates or threats from any source because it is their prerogative to vote for whoever they want!

All Malaysians must make a stand together for integrity and fair play in the next elections. Vote for morally upright candidates who will give their all to the rakyat and not to any mere person or party.

2. The headline of the article was "Najib wants Umno to recapture Selangor at any cost."

At what cost? Is UMNO paying for it? If not, then who? The country's funds/coffers should be used for the rakyat and the rakyat alone!

Isn't an election solely about democracy and a citizen's fundamental right to vote and to choose their representative? Such statements do not gel with the main purpose of an election which is definitely NOT about capturing a state at all cost?? Does the phrase 'at all cost' imply the misuse of government machinery or cheating?? What are those costs he was talking about? Such sweeping statements to impress do not go down well with the rest of us who are thinking hard and deep about those words.

No matter what, all Malaysians must desire and vote for a clean, transparent, responsible and accountable government like what we see so far in Penang and Selangor. Anything less than that is an absolute NO!

3. According to the report, Najib said if Umno could defeat the British in securing independence for the country, winning back Selangor was not too big a task for Selangor Umno.

Well, that analogy is WRONG.

Firstly, it was not UMNO who defeated the British to secure this country's independence!!! What a distorted perception of history! Those who hold this view must go back to basics and study Sejarah again!

Secondly, fighting for independence from colonialists is not the same as winning back a state that a government lost to another coalition.

3. The only logical statements seems to be:

Najib also reminded that under the democratic system, a party could not be assured of remaining in power forever.

"We must learn from history, because politics is a game of perception and numbers.

BN had better believe in those two statements because certainly, if democracy exists, no party can remain in power forever unless it is an authoritarian government or dictatorship! And they had better learn their history properly and understand the past so that they can better plan the future FAIRLY for the rakyat.

So where do we go from here? Are the soldiers all in position and ready to take orders from their generals? For sure, the next GE is round the corner and all we can do is to vote wisely and to enlighten the unconverted.

Thasleem, Pengerusi Pasukan Bertindak Interlok Juga Kata Ia Bukan Anwar

Video seks: Pengerusi Interlok terima CD, dakwa si pelaku bukan Anwar

-TMI

Ulasan GB

Semakin luas disebarkan semakin ramai tampil menyatakan "ia bukan Anwar".

Nampaknya ketara kebenaran semakin terserlah.

Rumusannya? Anda tahu!

Deputy PM Muhyiddin Yassin in a speech at the 7th Anniversary of the National Integrity Plan and Malaysian Integrity Institute (IIM) recently has described "fighting corruption as the most important struggle (jihad) for any government of integrity". He went further to say that "we've seen so many world leaders and government being toppled due to corruption and abuse of power".

What strange words coming from a veteran politician who carved himself a house-hold name during his tenure as the Menteri Besar of Johore for reasons best known to Johoreans. I was told that he became so 'popular' that he caused the wrath of the late Sultan of Johore. What was it that the Sultan was angry about? If you want to know, ask the elders of Johor Baru for the answer. Personally, I just happened to hear about it during my calls on some elders in Johor Baru.

For all that I've heard of Muhyiddin, I do not think he is the right person to talk about fighting corruption. I am not saying that he is corrupt, but I believe he knows the massive corruption that goes around him and the people that are corrupt. Of course, being a politician who constantly seek and hungers for popularity, he would not want to expose the bad guys within his circle of friends. I suppose that is only natural among politicians, and the fear of losing popularity is not what he wants. I don't think Muhyiddin wants to end his career like Anuar Ibrahim, being hounded like a wounded tiger.

Muhyiddin seems to echo what his boss PM Najib has said recently at the Pahang Malay Contractors Association Annual General Meeting i.e. "that corruption and leakages are not only affecting the government's revenue but also the nation's economic performance". Doesn't this sound similar but said differently by Muhyiddin? And may I ask why the concern now when billions have been siphoned out through corruption and leakages over the last 50 odd years? And with the General Elections looming, I suggest Muhyiddin should continue talking about anti corruption issues at public forums, and to get the mainstream media to blow his statement up. This may give Muhyiddin a 'feel good, look good' image of someone who is out to fight and eradicate corruption.

Muhyiddin should be sincere and honest in what he says. It is good that he spoke about world leaders and governments being ousted due to corruption and abuse of power. Is he taking a snap shot at the Sarawak CM or what?

I suppose Muhyiddin must have been jolted by events in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Jordan. And in all these countries, the people rose against their leaders, rulers and government is because of the abuse of power, corruption and neglecting the 'bread and butter' issues of the people. I dare say that a sampling of such causes and issues are beginning to be felt by Malaysians, and if these are not given due attention, the rise in people's power as witnessed in all of the North African Muslim states can also take place here. And in this regards, let me voice my concern at the growing hatred and loss of confidence of the ordinary Malaysian citizens towards the police force and the judiciary in particular, that is affecting the good name of the government. I do not wish to list out the reasons here for the reasons are in public domain. Just read what retired senior police officer Mat Zain Ibrahim has to say of the judiciary as well as the police force in several open letters and articles written about them that goes unchallenged. I only hope that there a many other senior police officers like Mat Zain Ibrahim.

To Muhyiddin, may I say this…………..that you can go on taking about your concern for corruption in this country, but until and unless to prove to us that you are willing to sacrifice your neck to save this country from corrupt practices within your own circle of friends first, then anything you say means nothing to us. For starters, you may wish to think of ways to rid money politics within your party.

Tarikh Pilihanraya Bergantung Kepada Tahyul "11" Najib?

Angka 11 tarikh PRU 13 pilihan Najib?

- Bernama

Lost Dog With PJ Dog License In Seremban

There is a lost dog somewhere in Seremban in Negeri Sembilan state.

It is said to be white in colour, and possibly about three years old.

It is wearing a dog tag from the Petaling Jaya City Council or MBPJ.

We received a call this afternoon by a pet lover who spotted the dog, believed to be a mongrel on Monday.

The canine has, thankfully, been caught and is

The Rules of Gunfighting by David E. Petzal

Posted: 06 May 2011 03:48 AM PDT

Drill Sergeant Joe B. Fricks Rules For A Gunfight

1. Forget about knives, bats and fists. Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns. Bring four times the ammunition you think you could ever need.

2. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammunition is cheap - life is expensive. If you shoot inside, buckshot is your friend. A new wall is cheap - funerals are expensive

3. Only hits count. The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss.

4. If your shooting stance is good, you're probably not moving fast enough or using cover correctly.

5. Move away from your attacker and go to cover. Distance is your friend. (Bulletproof cover and diagonal or lateral movement are preferred.)

6. If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a semi or full-automatic long gun and a friend with a long gun.

7. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.

8. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating, reloading, and running. Yell "Fire!" Why "Fire"? Cops will come with the Fire Department, sirens often scare off the bad guys, or at least cause then to lose concentration and will... and who is going to summon help if you yell "Intruder," "Glock" or "Winchester?"

9. Accuracy is relative: most combat shooting standards will be more dependent on "pucker factor" than the inherent accuracy of the gun.

10. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

11. Stretch the rules. Always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.

12. Have a plan.

13. Have a back-up plan, because the first one won't work. "No battle plan ever survives 10 seconds past first contact with an enemy."

14. Use cover or concealment as much as possible, but remember, sheetrock walls and the like stop nothing but your pulse when bullets tear through them.

15. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.

16. Don't drop your guard.

17. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees. Practice reloading one-handed and off-hand shooting. That's how you live if hit in your "good" side.

18. Watch their hands. Hands kill. Smiles, frowns and other facial expressions don't (In God we trust. Everyone else keep your hands where I can see them.)

19. Decide NOW to always be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH.

20. The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

21. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet if necessary, because they may want to kill you.

22. Be courteous to everyone, overly friendly to no one.

23. Your number one option for personal security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

24. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun, the caliber of which does not start with anything smaller than "4".

25. Use a gun that works EVERY TIME. "All skill is in vain when an Angel blows the powder from the flintlock of your musket." At a practice session, throw you gun into the mud, then make sure it still works. You can clean it later.

26. Practice shooting in the dark, with someone shouting at you, when out of breath, etc.

27. Regardless of whether justified of not, you will feel sad about killing another human being. It is better to be sad than to be room temperature.

28. The only thing you EVER say afterwards is, "He said he was going to kill me. I believed him. I'm sorry, Officer, but I'm very upset now. I can't say anything more. Please speak with my attorney."

Finally, Drill Sergeant Frick's Rules For Un-armed Combat.

1. Never be unarmed." Source: The Abundant Gift

[Video] Kenyataan Eskay Berubah Buktikan Beliau Pendusta Besar - MP Kuala Langat

Kenyataan 'Flip- flop' Eskay Dipersoal

"Amat malang negara kita kerana mempunyai seorang pembohong besar seperti beliau," tegas Abdullah.

-tvsnews

Did squid predicts Japanese earthquake?

Posted: 06 May 2011 12:07 AM PDT

Squid fishermen in Tokushima Prefecture hauled in a bumper catch just before the massive March 11 earthquake, just as they did right before the 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake, leading to suggestions the phenomenons could be connected.

The prefecture's fisheries research institute explained that last year's summer heat wave would be a more likely factor instead of "earthquake prediction".

Animals' unusual behaviour is often linked with natural disaster since old times; Chinese in particular are strong believers in this matter for thousand of years.

Scientific wise it's not a universal approved idea, and there's very little research that could support the connection besides the basic fact that many animals are more sensitive to change-of-environment than human being in many ways.

Jang Geun-suk tops Oricon chart

Posted: 04 May 2011 01:01 AM PDT

Jang Geun-suk Let Me CryKorean star Jang Geun-suk has topped Japan's Oricon weekly chart with his debut single, Let Me Cry. He's said to be the first foreign artist to top the authoritative Japanese chart with a debut single.

Jang's previous drama, You're Beautiful, was a huge hit in Japan and across Asia, which probably explains why the rookie (singer) managed to top the chart.

The feat still appears as a little surprise, as all eyes were on Jang's Korean compatriot, Girls' Generation, who came close at second spot with their first original Japanese single, Mr Taxi. How ironic is that the girl group's attempt to top the chart is spoiled by a fellow countryman of all people.

MCA should not appear in Utusan Malaysia if the party is sincere in boycotting the daily

I found it quite mind-boggling to notice MCA leaders appearing in Utusan Malaysia when the party's leaders are calling its members to boycott the daily which they have regarded it as a daily of racism and extremism. On 3rd May, the local version of the daily carries two MCA leaders attending to various issues in their area. The two leaders are MCA coordinator for Rawang, Lee Li Yew and Banie Chin,
