Top 12 Homicides of the year

Every year the FBI, is asked to investigate over 36,000 Serious Crimes including Murder/Homicides. Every year the Homicide Investigations Unit puts out its Top 12 Homicides of theYear.

1- Alex Mijtus,36 years old, is killed by his wife, armed with a 20 inch long vibrator. Mrs Mijtus had had enough of her husband's strange sex practices and one night during a prolonged session of fun she snapped, pushing all 20 inches of the vibrator into Alex's anus until it ruptured several internal organs and caused severe bleeding.

2- Debby Mills-Newbroughton, 99 years old, was killed as she crossed the road. She was to turn 100 the next day, but crossing the road with her daughter to go to her own birthday party her wheel chair was hit by the truck delivering her birthday cake.

3- Peter Stone, 42 years old, is murdered by his 8 year old daughter, who he had just sent to her room with no dinner. Young Samantha Stone felt that if she couldn't have dinner no one should, and she promptly inserted 72 rat poison tablets into her fathers coffee as he prepared dinner. The victim took one sip and promptly collapsed. Samantha Stone was given a suspended sentence as the judge felt she didn't realize what she was doing, until she tried to poison her mother using the same method one month later.

4- David Danil, 17 years old, was killed by his girl friend after he attempted to have his way with her. His unwelcome advance was met with a double-barreled shotgun. Charla's (the girlfriends') father had given it to her an hour before the date started, just in case.

5- Javier Halos, 27 years old, was killed by his landlord for failing to pay his rent for 8 years. The landlord, Kirk Weston, clubbed the victim to death with a toilet seat after he realized just how long it had been since Mr Halos paid his rent.

6- Megan Fry, 44 years old, is killed by 14 state troopers after she wandered onto a live firing, fake town, simulation. Seeing all the troopers walking slowly down the street Megan Fry had jumped out in front of them and yelled Boo!. The troopers, thinking she was a pop up target, fired 67 shots between them, over 40 of them hitting the target. She just looked like a very real looking target, one of the troopers stated in his report.

7- Julia Smeeth, 20 years old, was killed by her brother Michael because she talked on the phone too long, Michael clubbed his sister to death with a cordless phone, then stabbed her several times with the broken arial.

8- Helena Simms, Wife to the famous American nuclear scientist Harold Simms was killed by her husband after she had an affair with the neighbour. Over a period of 3 months Harold substituted Helena's eye shadow with a Uranium composite that was highly radioactive, until she died of radiation poisoning. Although she suffered many symptoms, including total hair loss, skin welts, bindness, extreme nausea and even had an earlobe drop off, the victim never attended a doctor's surgery or hospital for a check up.

9- Military Sergeant John Joe Winter killed his two timing wife by loading her car with Trintynitrate explosive (similar to C4). The Ford Taurus she was driving was filled with 750 kgs of explosive, forming a force twice as powerful as the Oklahoma Bombing. The explosion was heard by several persons some up to 14 kilometers away. No trace of the car or the victim were ever found, only a 55 meter deep crater, and 500m of missing road.

10- Patty Winter, 35 years old, was killed by her neighbour in the early hours of a Sunday morning. Her neighbor, Falt Hame, for years had a mounted F6 phantom jet engine in his rear yard. He would fire the jet engine, aimed at an empty block at the back of his property.

Patty Winter would constantly complain to the local sheriff's officers about the noise and the potential risk of fire. Mr Hame was served with a notice to remove the engine immediately. Not liking this he invited Miss Winter over for a cup of coffee and a chat about the whole situation. What Winter didn't know was that he had changed the position of the engine, as she walked into the yard he activated it, hitting her with a blast of 5,000 degrees, killing her instantly, and forever burning her outline into the driveway.

11- Michael Lewis, angry at his gay boyfriend, used the movie, Die Hard, With a Vengeance as inspiration. He drugged his boyfriend, Tony Berry, into an almost catatonic state, then dressed him only in a double sided white board that read Death to all Niggers! on one side, and God Loves the KKK. On the other. Lewis then drove the victim to downtown Harlem and dropped him off. Two minutes later Berry was deceased.

12- Conrad Middleton, 26 years old, was killed by his twin brother Brian after a disagreement over who should take the family home after their parents' passed away. Conrad had a nasal problem, and had no sense of smell. After the argument Brian stormed out of the house, then snuck back later, and turned on the 3 gas taps in the house, filling it with gas. He then left out a box of cigars, a lighter and a note saying, Sorry for the spree, have a puff on me, Brian. Conrad promptly lit a cigar, destroying the house, and himself in the process.

We are the peaceful lots, says GPI

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 10:52 AM PDT

We are ranked 19th as the world's most peaceful country, a position much higher than that of the 'most peaceful Singapore' and some developed nations.

According to the Global Peace Index, Malaysia's ranking has improved tremendously from 37th and 38th in 2007 and 2008 respectively. And being the most peaceful in Southeast Asia, we should be telling Ambiga, Anwar, Kit Siang, Mat Sabu and others that whatever they do to tarnish our image, the international community is aware of the government's sincere objectives to bring about peace and sustainable growth for everybody.

This ranking by the GPI 2011 is the first time that Malaysia has been placed that high since 2007, being one of the six non-European nations making the top 20 list (here). The other five were Iceland, New Zealand, Japan, Qatar and Australia.

These indicators were selected by an international panel of academics, business people, philanthropists and members of peace institutions from the period of March 15, 2010 to March 15, 2011.

The research said Malaysia supplanted Singapore as the highest ranked in 2010 for South-East Asian (SEA) nation. Singapore ranked second in SEA and 24th overall, followed by Vietnam (30th overall), Laos (32nd overall), Indonesia (68th overall), Thailand (107th overall), Myanmar (133rd overall) and the Philippines (136th overall).

As for developed countries, United Kingdom was ranked at 26th, South Korea (50th), China (80th) and United States of America (82nd).

"Malaysia's growing peacefulness reflected a rise in political stability and improving relations with neighbouring countries, notably Singapore and China," it said.

The top 10 placement were Iceland as the country most at peace, followed by New Zealand, Japan (third), Denmark (fourth), Czech Republic (fifth), Austria (sixth), Finland (seventh), Canada (eighth), Norway (ninth), Slovenia (tenth).

And Malaysia is currently ranked one of the world's top 10 friendliest destinations according to a HSBC survey (2011) and ranked the second most peaceful nation in Asia in the Global Peace Index 2011 (read here).

Bekas Menteri Penerangan Gesa Najib Henti Sekat Suara Rakyat

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 09:48 AM PDT

Abdul Kadir berkata demikian selepas majlis pelancaran "Angkatan Amanah Merdeka" (Amanah) pagi tadi.

-tvsnews

I haven't written about Pebbles, that diva like shih-tzu that lives in my house in a long time. She actually thinks that this house belongs to her and we're just her slaves though ... LOL!

She's been with us for close to two years now and has become like one of the family that I don't think life would be the same without her. I can't imagine walking around the house without her following me running in between my legs like my shadow. I can't imagine not having her jump up the bed in between me and wifey every morning when the alarm sounds. I can't imagine not having to scold her every single night for barking and wanting to fight with the neighbours dog, who is twice her size, mind you!

And because of all the pampering she's been getting, she's become a little diva at home. She's also become so very comfortable with us compared to the first time she came to live with us. Back then, she was so afraid we'd leave her locked up in the room which was what her previous owner used to do that she would follow us everywhere we go, even when we went to the toilet.

We let her run loose around the house and do whatever she likes. The entire house is her playground and she even sleeps in the room with both wifey and me at nights. She has her own little favourite sleeping basket, which is a little too small for her these days though, in the room. But most nights, she'd just head under the bed to a spot near our heads to sleep. She loves that spot and would curl up in her little basket towards the earlier half of the morning when it's cooler and would jump into bed with us when the alarm rings every morning.

She's got a whole bunch of toys to play with though she has her own preference of toys that she constantly go wild with. And anything new that comes into the house has to go through her security check before it's allowed in ... LOL! She's gone from eating simple doggy biscuits to having her food, which is specially bought every week, prepared by me every night for her dinner. And it has to be microwave some more or she would snub it. Yes, I'm her personal chef every night. And if I'm slightly late in preparing hr food, she'll come and sit next to me and give me this stare that says,

'Hey moron, it's dinner time, where's my food?'

Yes, she can be that demanding. She does the same thing to wifey when she wants snacks. She'll just sit there with this look and will not budge until wifey gives her a snack! This is the only dog I know that gets fed breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between ... LOL! She's become so attached to wifey that when she wants pampering, she'll just jump onto wifey's lap and lay there. I guess being at home with wifey all day has something to do with that.

Whenever I go to work, she'll always want wifey to carry her and see me off, every single morning and will always be at the door waiting with her tail wagging away wildly waiting for me when I drive in. Whenever wifey and me go out and leave her at home with the boys and happen to come back a little late, she'll be at the door barking and admonishing us for coming back so late ... hahaha!

Sometime when wifey and me are in bed chit chatting and we ignore her, she'll just jump in between us and start rolling around the bed trying to get our attention and won't stop until we acknowledge her. She loves it when people fawn and fuss over her. And sometimes when we purposely ignore her, she'll go to one corner and sulk ... hahaha!

She's also one very smart dog who knows how to use the toilet. Whenever she needs to do her business, she'll run into the toilet and once she's done, she'll come running out happily telling us she's done. That's my cue to clean up after her. I'm the designated toilet cleaner after she's done.

She loves her walks or rather runs in the park whenever I have the time to take her. She used to be so afraid of the body harness but now, the moment she sees it, her tail goes to 500 wph (wags per hour) and will simply run and pull me along all round the park. Can't help it la, she's a runners dogs what ... hahaha ... these days I use my running shoes and get in some runs along with her when I take her for her runnies, smart fellow, ain't I  ... LOL!

She's also got her list of people and things she hates like the neighbours dog which is her mortal enemy and whenever she gets the chance to run out, she's off to fight with that big dog. She really doesn't know she's a small little thing! She's got a big ego, this girl. She hates the postman, though I have no idea why and wifey says that she would bark like crazy whenever he comes by. She can hear his motorbike from miles away and run to the main sliding doors to bark at him :D She also dislike my younger boy cos he bullies her and she would always growl and warn him off if he tries to disturb her which he loves doing anyway.

Life for us is so much different compared to the days before we had her. She's brought a whole new definition to life for us. Now instead of having two kids to look after, we also have an additional one cos she's just like a little girl though not as stubborn and bratty as the other two, well one boy anyway ... LOL!

Video BERS✔H PDRM Bohong: Hanya Tayang Detik Terpilih

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 08:14 AM PDT

Polis tayang 'detik terpilih', bukan menyeluruh

Tambahnya, tindakan polis memilih video sebelum ditayangkan sehingga mengambil masa selama dua minggu amat menimbulkan keraguan.

"Kenapa saat-saat tertentu sahaja yang polis tunujuk? Masa polis tembak gas masa perhimpunan kenapa tak tunjuk?"

-HD

Bersih 2.0: Mat Sabu arah peguam fail saman PDRM
July 22, 2011

-TMI

Najib Serlahkan Ketakutan Terhadap BERS✔H Sebagai Mahu Gulingkan Kerajaannya

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 06:05 AM PDT

Najib dakwa Bersih 2.0 cuba guling tadbirannya

"(Habis lawatan) saya ajak keluarga saya berbincang. Saya kata rasa-rasa dalam hati, saya kena balik walaupun ikut jadual keluarga saya dan saya, nak bercuti di luar negara sementara tetapi rasa-rasa saya perlu balik ke Malaysia.

"Saya kata bahawa tidak mengapalah kalau saya perlu berkorban. Saya sanggup berkorban demi rakyat Malaysia," kata beliau.

Unforgettable Public Relations Blunders

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 05:18 AM PDT

Of late, we have seen how our local government has failed to effectively manage their public relations strategies in challenging situations. The local and international media went into overdrive when covering the  Bersih 2.0 rally. A series of public relations mistakes have been made by the establishment  and this is to their detriment. It is quite pointless to cast pearls at the swine by spending good money consulting international public consultants when they cannot even take care of their own turf by bungling and fumbling every other day.

Even Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, the outspoken BN deputy minister, has criticised his administration for failing to discuss terms with the outlawed group before the rally. With much foresight, he warned that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak would suffer a political backlash from the July 9 rally.

The Malaysian Insider has said that we can see that "Umno-controlled media, such as Utusan Malaysia, and some BN leaders have continued to blame the opposition for what they say are biased news reports, especially from the foreign media, that paint the government in a bad light." Instead of pointing fingers, why haven't they tried to bridge the gap to resolve differences by holding negotiations? Most disappointingly, they adopted an arrogant "I am right and you are wrong" stance which distanced the rakyat from the status quo.

I wonder how many know that on June 30th, Dr Ng Yen Yen wrote this in her blog:
The Tourism Ministry yesterday urged organisers of the Bersih 2.0 rally to call it off as the industry could lose about RM1.2 billion.I wonder how she came up with that figure. And I also wonder also whether she is aware who is the one who launched the lockdown in the city.

Then there is case of the six PSM members who have been held held without trial under the EO for the last three weeks. Choo Chon Kai, R Saratbabu, M Letchumanan, M Sarasvathy, A Sukumaran and Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj were arrested for promoting the July 9 Bersih 2.0 rally. None has been charged with any crime.

Following that, Queen Elizabeth wore yellow and had matching yellow flowers in her parlour when the PM and his wife paid her a courtesy call at Buckingham Palace. That spoke volumes and caused major ripples all over.

Let's not forget those who were arrested in their hotel room for wearing the Bersih t-shirt.

Of course there is the Tung Shin Hospital debacle and many have written about it. It was a case of a "No, it did not happen" and then the "We will probe further" run round the mulberry bush.

At the opening of the Commonwealth Magistrates' and Judges' Conference 2011 (CMJA) in Kuala Lumpur four days ago, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz read our our PM's speech where he said:

Malaysia is committed to safeguarding and ensuring the continued independence of the judiciary.

agung rulers judiciary 110807He said an independent judiciary was a central component of democracy, and one of the most important reasons for national achievement.

"Safeguarding and ensuring the continued independence of the judiciary is an ideal that Malaysia is wholly committed to. It must be said that the Malaysian judiciary has experienced a fair measure since Merdeka (independence).

"The first three decades after independence were relatively free from turbulence, but the late 1980s saw turbulent changes and controversy, which attracted considerable public criticism and speculation.

"The erosion of public confidence in the judiciary was recognised and measures were expressly taken to fortify the safeguards of judicial independence." More here.
After the widely publicized trip to establish diplomatic relations with Pope Benedict XVI. our PM made a statement here saying that the government will engage with Christians groups here that love peace and respect the country's Islamic leadership.

Yesterday, FMT reported that the police have applied for arrest warrants to haul in 13 individuals, including Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, national laureate A Samad Said, PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar, PAS vice-president Husam Musa, PKR MP R Sivarasa, PAS MP Hatta Ramli, Bersih 2.0 steering committee members Haris Ibrahim and Wong Chin Huat, PKR leaders Latheefa Koya and Badrul Hisham Shaharin as well as former Perak Speaker V Sivakumar in connection with the Bersih 2.0 rally on July 9. The list also contained the name of PAS Titiwangsa MP Dr Lo' Lo' Ghazali but she had passed away on Sunday.

Of course, we must not forget that French lawyer William Bourdon, who was in Penang last night to speak about the controversial Scorpene submarines deal allegedly involving millions of ringgit in kickbacks to Malaysian government officials, was detained at the KL International Airport this morning and will be deported soon.

At 1.42 pm, Malaysiakini reported:

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who returned today from working visits to three countries, said he had cancelled a holiday with the family abroad to spend more time with the people in Malaysia.

He said he was thankful to his wife Rosmah Mansor and their children for having agreed with him to come back earlier from overseas.

"I told my family I felt that I should return to Malaysia and that I was prepared to forgo the holiday for the sake of Malaysians back home," he said when addressing about 3,000 people who had gathered at the Bunga Raya Complex of the KL International Airport to greet him on his return.
How wonderful! What a lovely coincidence, ya?

So once again, quo vadis Malaysia?

Siasatan di Perancis tumpu kaitan Altantuya-Scorpene

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 04:36 AM PDT

BERS✔H 2.0: SUHAKAM Minta Orang Awam Serah Bukti

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 04:28 AM PDT

1. Untuk menentukan sama ada terdapat apa-apa pelanggaran hak asasi manusia terhadap mana-mana individu atau pihak sebelum dan semasa perhimpunan pada 9 Julai 2011;

i. Bagaimana pelanggaran itu terjadi;

ii. Apakah arahan pentadbiran dan prosedur, atau aturan yang menyebabkan pelanggaran tersebut;

iii.

-mk

Ulasan GB

Alhamdulillah, gesaan GB semalam mendapat riaksi positif SUHAKAM hari ini. Di dalam ulasan semalam GB menyatakan:

Memang benar beberapa pendapat menyatakan mereka masih berfikiran kuno dan kolot. TG Nik Aziz menyifatkan ia era zaman pemerintahan purbakala.

SUHAKAM, cepatlah sikit kerja. Bawa polis-polis ini ke muka pengadilan. Kesian rakyat, setelah dizalimi, diperbodohkan pula sedemkian rupa.

Penahanan Peguam Perancis Bukti Ada Skandal Dalam Pembelian Scorpene

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 03:12 AM PDT

Selepas beberapa rundingan, beliau dibenarkan menemani suaminya.

Menurut Gabriel, pegawai imigresen "menyoal Bourdon".

Ulasan GB

BERS✔H 2.0: Najib Perkecilkan Kuasa Agong Yang Menitahkan Perundingan

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 03:25 AM PDT

-TMI

Dalam Islam Ada Tradisi Demonstrasi

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 12:01 AM PDT

Pemimpin Ikhwan Al-Muslimin Kuwait, Dr Tareq Mohammed Al-Suwaidan berkata, Islam sendiri menganjurkan tradisi demonstrasi atau perhimpunan aman, sekaligus menafikan dakwaan sesetengah pihak bahawa ia menyalahi hukum, lapor KeadilanDaily.

-HD

The Expected Event Occured

I was not surprised at all when I read the following article in Malaysiakini.

French lawyer William Bourdon, who was in Penang last night to speak about the controversial Scorpene submarines deal allegedly involving millions of ringgit in kickbacks to Malaysian government officials, has been detained at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

According to Suaram director Cynthia Gabriel, immigration officials boarded the aircraft and detained Bourdon after their plane touched down at KLIA in Sepang this morning.

"He has been taken to the immigration holding centre at KLIA," Gabriel told Malaysiakini.

Initially, the immigration officers, did not allow Bourdon's wife, also a lawyer, to accompany him to the centre.

ops scorpene dinner 220711 willian bourdonFollowing some negotiations, she was allowed to do so.

According to Gabriel, the officers wanted to "question" Bourdon.

At a packed dinner in Penang last night to raise funds for the pending Scorpene trial in France in which the NGO Suaram is involved, Bourdon (left) said the case would also expose details of secret meetings of those involved.

He said those beneficiaries and kickbacks from the RM7.3 billion Scorpene submarine deal would be exposed when the matter is raised at the French corruption trial against defence giant DCNS.

Bourdon arrived yesterday but did not go through KLIA immigration as he was in transit to Penang.

The 55-year-old French lawyer is due to speak at a fund-raising dinner in Petaling Jaya tonight and at another dinner in Ipoh tomorrow.

Third commission
Suaram has filed the legal case in Paris with the help of Bourdon over claims that French defence giant DCNS paid RM540 million in commission to Perimekar over the purchase of two submarines.

NONESuch payments are illegal under French laws. Perimekar is a subsidiary of KS Ombak Laut Sdn Bhd, of which the major shareholder is Abdul Razak's wife, Mazlinda Makhzan.

Bourdon has uncovered another 30 million euros (RM150 million) paid to DCNS' commercial network Thales and another 2.5 million euros (RM7.5 million) to an unknown recipient.

Suaram recently revealed that a third commission, an amount bigger than the earlier two, had been paid to highly placed government officials.

Bourdon and his team of lawyers at Sherpa - a not-for-profit organisation he founded in 2001 that focuses on improving legal tools to promote corporate social responsibility - have been providing pro bono services to Suaram thus far.

Active in initiating legal procedures in France against former Serbian and Rwandan leaders suspected of crimes against humanity and war crimes, Bourdon also served as legal council for Franco-Chilean families who were victims of the former dictator Augusto Pinochet.

From 1995 to 2000, he was general-secretary of the International Federation for Human Rights (IFHR)

Najib no right to tell others to respect Islam. As a leader, respect others first

I'm sure Najib is very familiar with the phrase 'Respect is earned'. Can Najib tell us what to do unless he himself is respecting the rights of other people?

Can Najib, first of all, respect the Christians' (read: Catholics') right to use 'Allah' in their own internal publication?

Aug 12 decision on MCA injunction bid against Kajang Municipal Council

Posted: 21 Jul 2011 09:51 PM PDT

Source: (22/7/2011)
SHAH ALAM: The MCA will know on Aug 12 whether the party has succeeded in getting an injunction to stop the Kajang Municipal Council from closing down its building in Cheras, pending the outcome of its suit against the council. High Court judge Justice Wan Af-rah Wan Ibrahim fixed the date after meeting counsel for parties in chambers yesterday.
The plaintiff, MCA secretary-general Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha, in his application sought for an injunction to stop the defendant from entering or locking the MCA Building in Taman Indah, Cheras. He is also seeking the return of seven sets of keys and also items which had been confiscated by the defendant.
In the main suit filed on May 23, Kong sought a declaration that the defendant's forced entry into the MCA building on three occasions in November and December last year were wrong and inappropriate. He is seeking damages, costs and other reliefs deemed fit by the court.
In its statement of defence, the Kajang Municipal Council denied all the allegations and argued that it had the jurisdiction to take over the building as it was built on state land. Representing Kong is counsel Ringo Low, while the council was represented by lawyers Lim Lip Eng and Lewis Lim.
