Now the whole world knows that Anwar is not guilty.

The whole world also knows that the judiciary is still not free and BN-led government is still not clean!

He has charged Anwar with sodomy, but not another politician who was caught with his pants down.

Attorney-General (AG) Abdul Gani Patail has been accused of "dishonesty" and the lack of even-handedness in prosecuting Anwar Ibrahim for sodomy.

lingam tape panel meeting 031007 abdul gani patailAnwar's lawyer Sankara Nair said this in a statement today, in which he questioned why similar action has not been taken against Dr Chua Soi Lek, who has admitted to involvement in oral sex.

Sankara did not name Chua, but referred to the video footage implicating "a former minister of health of the ruling (coalition) ,who has just won the presidency of his party".

"The (DVD) has been in the public domain for about two years. The video shows him engaging in oral sex with a woman. He also publicly admitted that he was the actor in the video.

"Indeed oral sex with or without consent is no different from anal sex and it clearly falls within the same Section 377B of the Penal Code under which Anwar is charged."

901: Koleksi Gambar Dan Video Yang Tak Sempat Disiarkan Pagi Semalam

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 10:14 AM PST

Singapore Trip: Holland Village & Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao – One of the place I visited during my Singapore trip few months back was Holland Village, the small town that has many nice restaurants. Brother recommended the supper all-you-can-eat steamboat buffet with unlimited Xiao Long Bao at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao restaurant which starts at 10pm. We actually made a reservation, it's better to make a reservation as it gets crowded during this session.

#2: Part of the road is closed at night for pedestrian walking.

#3. Us!

#4.

Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao is located in Holland Village, Singapore. We took a cab from NUS main campus and we arrived in just a few minutes. It's pretty close. We wander around the place while waiting 10pm to arrive. We were there pretty early.

#5: Clean power box. Ours are full with advertisement on loanshark, viagra ads and more.

#6.

When 10pm reached, we went into the restaurant, the restaurant actually made our book wrong and had our book written on the yesterday page, after some discussion, they manage to get us a seat on the upper floor. Steamboat is served with two version of soup that we've ordered – pork bone soup and vegetable soup with lots of parsley.

Besides eating steamboat, there's unlimited order of nice Shanghai Xiao Long Bao and desserts like toufu hau which runs out pretty quickly.

I ate more Xiao Long Bao than steamboat that night and came out with a full stomach. Yum yum.

In Tunisia; crowd of 5000 chants "Death to Israel", You hate Jews, fact, no need of denials, along the way you hate Christians too!

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 06:53 AM PST

The prime minister in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Sunday promised "difficult days" for Israel, and at a rally in Tunis urged Arab Spring revolutionaries to fight for an independent Palestine. Ismail Haniya received an ovation from the crowd of some 5,000 men, women and children gathered in a stadium waving Palestinian, Tunisian and Hamas flags.

"Israel no longer has allies in Egypt and in Tunisia, we are saying to the Zionist enemies that times have changed and that the time of the Arab Spring, the time of the revolution, of dignity and of pride has arrived," he said to loud cheers. "We promise you that we will not cede a single part of Palestine, we will not cede Jerusalem, we will continue to fight and we will not lay down our arms," he said. He urged "the people of the revolution to fight the army of Al-Quds" as Jerusalem is known in Arabic.

"To Tunisia we say: 'It is us today who are going to build the new Middle East'." Haniya insisted "We will not recognise Israel", as the crowd chanted: "Death to Israel", "The Tunisian revolution supports Palestine", and "The army of Mohammed is back". Some wiped their feet on the Star of David.

Haniya arrived in Tunis on Thursday for a five-day visit at the invitation of the new Islamist-led Tunisian authorities. He has also visited Egypt, Sudan and Turkey and will next travel to Qatar and Bahrain.

Hamas is considered a terrorist organisation by Western powers. Haniya's visit does not sit well with representatives of the Palestinian Authority led by president Mahmud Abbas. One source told AFP: "The Palestinians are furious." Jews in Tunisia asked the government earlier Sunday to take steps to avoid a repeat of anti-Semitic slogans chanted during the Hamas leader's visit.

"No Tunisian should be insulted, and the government must take measures to ensure this incident is never repeated," Peres Trabelsi, a representative of Tunisia's small Jewish population, told AFP after the incident. And the chief rabbi of Tunis, Haim Bittan, said: "Certain members of the community were frightened after this incident, but you have to make a distinction between the situation in the Middle East and here."

Not "Zionists," but "Jews":

Islamist activists welcoming Haniya were heard chanting slogans like: "Kill the Jews, it is our duty", along with anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian messages. "There are no Zionists in Tunisia and we don't want to be mixed into the problems of the Middle East," said Trabelsi. "Tunisia is our country." Tunisia has one of the Arab world's largest Jewish minorities, numbering about 1,500 individuals in a population of more than 10 million.

The population has shrunk drastically from the 100,000 Jews who lived in Tunisia after independence in 1956....

Adam Adli digantung 3 semester, dibicarakan tanpa peguam

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Jan — Aktivis mahasiswa Adam Adli Abd Halim telah digantung selama tiga semester atas tuduhan mencemarkan reputasi Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) tanpa dibela peguam semasa dibicarakan.

Ketika dihubungi The Malaysian Insider sebentar tadi, Adam Adli berkata beliau mula dibicarakan pada pukul 3.30 petang tadi.

-TMI

Adam Adli, Koordinator Legasi Mahasiswa Progresif (LMP) merupakan pelajar semester kelima dan berbaki satu semester pengajian.

Nigerian Christians warn of campaign of "religious cleansing" against them

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 06:21 AM PST

That is exactly what is going on. Boko Haram's ultimatum for Christians to leave northern areas has come and gone, and attacks have increased in frequency. Boko Haram wants as wide a civil war as it can instigate, and thus a freer hand to push its agenda through slaughter. It wants to create a security vacuum to be filled with more Sharia, and a civil war would make the entire country hostage to the fulfillment of its demands. "Nigeria Christians liken attacks to civil war run-up," by Ola Awoniyi for Agence France-Presse, January 8:

The head of Nigeria's Christians has warned that attacks on the faithful that have killed more than 80 people suggest "religious cleansing" and compared it to the run-up to the 1960s civil war. The intensifying violence as well as warnings from Christian leaders that they will defend themselves come at a crucial moment for Nigeria, with the country also facing nationwide strikes on Monday over soaring fuel prices.

The stark warning from Ayo Oritsejafor, head of the Christian Association of Nigeria, on Saturday came with at least six gun and bomb attacks targeting Christians since Christmas having killed more than 80 people. Attacks have seen victims gunned down while their eyes were closed in prayer in church, caught up in a gruesome bomb blast while leaving Christmas services and shot while gathering to mourn the death of a friend.

In the latest violence, residents said gunmen shot dead three people believed to be Christians as they were playing poker on Saturday night in the northeastern town of Biu.

Islamist group Boko Haram has claimed most of the violence, which has sparked fears of a wider religious conflict in a country whose 160 million population is roughly divided between a mainly Muslim north and predominantly Christian south. A purported spokesman for the group a week ago gave Christians living in the north a three-day ultimatum to leave the region. In claiming subsequent attacks, the spokesman said they were in response to the ultimatum.

At mass on Sunday in the capital Abuja, worshippers were frisked and made to pass through metal detectors upon entry -- measures that have been in place for several weeks. In the economic capital Lagos, which has not been hit by attacks, churchgoers were told to be on alert for any suspicious movements.

Oritsejafor said on Saturday that Christians would defend themselves, though he added that he was not advocating reprisals.

An emergency meeting of church heads concluded "that the pattern of these killings does suggest to us a systematic ethnic and religious cleansing," he said. The ethnic groups are being targeted because of their religion. "We are reminded by the occurrences of these killings of the genesis of the civil war that took place here in Nigeria."...

Trusting the lies...

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 05:03 AM PST

Its really beyond comprehension. Anwar fabricated a lot of lies and twisted so many truths. When he was supposed to be the mentor in the Opposition pact, he misled them into believing every single word he utters and move he makes.

Unexpectedly, the rest in the Pakatan Rakyat - especially PAS and DAP leaders - treats him like a saint, that he never sinned!

I am okay with the fact that he got acquitted by Kuala Lumpur High Court earlier today. It shows how independent our judiciary is. It also proved wrong all Opposition critics that the Court was in the hands of the government.

On the eve of the verdict, Anwar wangled a drama - that one of Wan Azizah's bodyguard became a victim of 'poisonous jab'. Worst still, he alleged that those who did it were actually planning to kill his wife.

And today, the tests conducted by the Chemistry Department on Fayyadh Afiq Albakry Jaafar's blood and urine samples found them to be free of drug and poison. Its confirmed by Penang Police Chief Ayub Yaakob. The 26-year old was admitted to the Seberang Jaya Hospital after his hand was injured when pierced with a sharp object at a political talk in Cheruk Tok Kun here last Saturday.

Who on earth would plan to kill Azizah, a victim of 'Anwar's fiddlestick politics'? Its totally absurd!

During Bersih 2.0 rally last year, Anwar also lied being hit by a teargas canister at the KL Sentral. Investigation revealed he actually tripped when trying to leave the crowd in an abrupt manner.

Such lies started after he failed in his Sept 16, 2008 bid to takeover Putrajaya. That's when he began to accuse PM Najib, wife Rosmah and the Cabinet of launching a conspiracy to uproot him from politics. Just because Saiful went to see Najib, he took it for granted that the PM planted his former aide to nail him.

Then came the judiciary; that he would never get a fair trial for the sodomy case. But it was proven today that the judiciary belongs to nobody, and his acquittal was merely based on loose-and-weak prosecution. Also bear in mind that the court did not say 'he was not guilty'.

As how Stopthelies puts it:

"If we were to believe the Pakatan Rakyat propaganda, Anwar Ibrahim would be rotting in jail and Wan Azizah's bodyguard dying from a lethal injection but all these did not happened.

"But Anwar Ibrahim has been freed by the very court system which they claimed is tainted, ruined, corrupt and controlled by BN. If that's the case, they shouldn't be accepting the decision of this purported kangaroo court.

"This is classic PR. When a court favors them, it is a good decision but when it is against them, they run down the verdicts."

True.

And I am equally puzzled with the solid support given by PAS and DAP to his circumlocution. So, Pakatan Rakyat is led by a pact of liars!

When will they ever stop? After getting Putrajaya? I doubt it. Why? They are actually enjoying their lies!

[Video] TGNA Berpuasa Sunat, Harap Politik Fitnah Akan Berkubur

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 04:32 AM PST

-SH

Nik Aziz puasa sunat, minta penuduh Anwar mohon maaf

The verdict on Sodomy II must have been the most important one for KL High Court judge, Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah.

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 04:06 AM PST

Dr Chris Anthony
He will never forget it for the rest of his life.

In the years ahead, I am sure he will always have pleasant memories of the morning of 9 January 2012 when he rose to do justice in the trial of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Opposition leader, in the presence of thousands of the latter's supporters. In his verdict lay the fate of Anwar's political future and the reputation of the judiciary and fortunately the judge rose above politics to save both Anwar and the institution he represented.

It is too early to conclude that our judiciary may now be totally independent just from this case as a lot of public pressure could have compelled the judge to acquit Anwar. However we hope this would be the beginning of judicial independence in the country. Despite all the odds against him, Anwar has proven once again he is indeed a great man, a loyal citizen and a patriotic Malaysian who will do anything to stand up for his principles to save his country.

He had demonstrated beyond doubt that he is the right choice to lead the nation if elected by the people to do so. He could have chosen the easy way out but he has demonstrated his greatness by choosing to sacrifice his peace, his comfort and his health to fight corruption, injustice and racism that is threatening to destroy the nation we all slogged to develop.

At the age of 64 and with severe spine problems, he is willing to do something which most of us will shudder even at the thought of it. Yes, he is willing to go to jail to save his country and people based of his principles of socio-economic equality, justice and fairness for the man on the street regardless of race or creed.

He is willing to sacrifice not his peace alone but that of his family. Which wife would want to send the husband to jail, knowing what happened the last time he was sent there? Which children would want to send their father to prison knowing well the risks he may be subjected? By his willingness to sacrifice himself for our future he has won the admiration of all Malaysians across ethnic divide.

This brave Malaysian deserves our undivided support in his endeavors to free our nation from the clutches of tyranny and corruption. He has called for change and change we must bring. We need not take to the streets or risk our lives to support him. We can do it peacefully and democratically with the power bestowed upon us as citizens - the ballot box.

Yes, it is that simple-just cast the vote for change at the right time and we can convince many others to do so likewise. The man who was considered irrelevant by his opponents has proved himself relevant by willing to go the extra mile and do the extraordinary to lead the nation in bringing change.

It is the duty of all citizens to rally behind this great Malaysian to realize that dream and yearning for change. Our vote on that defining day of the 13GE will not only bring the change we badly need but also help free this great man from further persecution and imprisonment.

The verdict on Sodomy II may be over but the fight continues as the bigger battle has yet to come. Malaysiakini.

Sumpah Saiful Pun Berjalan, Hanya 50 Turun Sokongnya

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 03:26 AM PST

-mk

NOW THAT THE MALAYSIAN SPRING HAS BEEN SPARED, LET THE SUNSHINE IN DSAI by J.D. Lovrenciear

At last all Malaysians can heave a sigh of relief and sing prayerfully with hope. The acquittal of Anwar Ibrahim this morning has potentially saved the nation from a worrisome 'Malaysian Spring'.

It also gives the Malaysian judiciary a small opening in the window to ejaculate from the jaws of political injustice and reinstate the purity of democratic justice. It is now up to the entire judiciary to swing wide open its door to let the winds of democracy smoothly sailing the world to come full breath into the country too.

Indeed, the ruling party has wasted the rakyat's wealth – in terms of costs and time, in its disgusting, persistent and vendetta-filled political agenda to finish-off a man who continues to give hope for a better Malaysia for all.

The time has come with wisdom as we Malaysian's have been spared a nasty Spring, and now can jump-start our journey to a sunshine Malaysia. This now is in the hands of Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) and his leadership partners in the coalition Pakatan pool. Malaysians must pray, hope and insist that the coalition move on a steady steam to build a hopeful and inspired nation that can nurture its people, the Rulers and the nation of tomorrow.

And for this to happen, all those who only have the hope for a fair Malaysia and its future generations at heart must come together without any conditions. It is time to rise, and continue this journey to cleanse this country of all the ill-doings of past and present politicians who have greedily thrived on corrupt ways to self enrichment.

Just look at the way the politicians have been leading their lives. Just look at the way they build palaces for themselves. Just count the flashy cars in their garage. Or take into account the splashing overseas trips their families frolic in. Or even the obscenely expensive jewelry and artifacts that hug their silken clothes, and the oversized rings and handbags that they shamelessly flash in all public settings.

Rings and bells? Of course! But let us not waste time on these filthy stories. It is time to cusp the early rays of sunshine in our bosom.
Let us rid all these opulence and give back to the rakyat and the nation what rightfully belongs to all Malaysians.

The time has come to a high note. We should move on to build our summer of tomorrow. Let us in the sunshine hope. DSAI, you have to deliver now Sir.

It is now or never. The rakyat must galvanize this God given new hope and it needs every citizen's contribution.

-HD

-HD
