They shit where they eat!

Some people do shit where they eat!

They work for the government, 'makan gaji' with the government and took a swear by the General Order to be faithful to their employer and produce the best they can.

Just like the students who managed to continue their study on PTPTN loan and then took to the street asking for free education and demanding for the PTPTN to be abolished!

No denial that some government servants did join Anwar Ibrahim, Ambiga, Kit Siang and others during Bersih 3.0 rally on April 28. But I am not sure if action can be taken against them. Just leave it to the Public Service Dept?

Worse still is when those attached to the GLC and Umno-linked companies also joined the demonstration and later claimed being bashed up by the police!

Read about this two guys here...

I personally think they should find job elsewhere immediately.

[PANAS] Jimmy Shanley Dakwa Isteri Akui Mengandung Anak Luar Nikah

Posted: 07 May 2012 10:35 AM PDT

"SMS isteri berbunyi; Kalau I mengandung pun confirm anak you ke? Ni Mr Jimmy, I dah buanglah anak you tu kalau I mengandung.

"Saya balas SMS dan bertanya anak siapa awak mengandung? Dia jawab; Anak haram. Mampus pi lah anak siapapun.

-SH

The Asylum

Thanks to Sagebrush Philosopher whom I have been following for a long time, I came across this fantastic article written by Chris Hedges who writes a regular column for Truthdig.com.

According to THIS SITE, Hedges graduated from Harvard Divinity School and was for nearly two decades a foreign correspondent for The New York Times. He is the author of many books, including: War Is A Force That Gives Us Meaning, What Every Person Should Know About War, and American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America. His most recent book is Empire of Illusion: The End of Literacy and the Triumph of Spectacle.

Here is Chris Hedges at his best!

Welcome to the Asylum - written by Chris Hedges

When civilizations start to die they go insane. Let the ice sheets in the Arctic melt. Let the temperatures rise. Let the air, soil and water be poisoned. Let the forests die. Let the seas be emptied of life. Let one useless war after another be waged. Let the masses be thrust into extreme poverty and left without jobs while the elites, drunk on hedonism, accumulate vast fortunes through exploitation, speculation, fraud and theft. Reality, at the end, gets unplugged. We live in an age when news consists of Snooki's pregnancy, Hulk Hogan's sex tape and Kim Kardashian's denial that she is the naked woman cooking eggs in a photo circulating on the Internet. Politicians, including presidents, appear on late night comedy shows to do gags and they campaign on issues such as creating a moon colony. "At times when the page is turning," Louis-Ferdinand Celine wrote in "Castle to Castle," "when History brings all the nuts together, opens its Epic Dance Halls! hats and heads in the whirlwind! Panties overboard!"

The quest by a bankrupt elite in the final days of empire to accumulate greater and greater wealth, as Karl Marx observed, is modern society's version of primitive fetishism. This quest, as there is less and less to exploit, leads to mounting repression, increased human suffering, a collapse of infrastructure and, finally, collective death. It is the self-deluded, those on Wall Street or among the political elite, those who entertain and inform us, those who lack the capacity to question the lusts that will ensure our self-annihilation, who are held up as exemplars of intelligence, success and progress. The World Health Organization calculates that one in four people in the United States suffers from chronic anxiety, a mood disorder or depression—which seems to me to be a normal reaction to our march toward collective suicide. Welcome to the asylum.

When the most basic elements that sustain life are reduced to a cash product, life has no intrinsic value. The extinguishing of "primitive" societies, those that were defined by animism and mysticism, those that celebrated ambiguity and mystery, those that respected the centrality of the human imagination, removed the only ideological counterweight to a self-devouring capitalist ideology. Those who held on to pre-modern beliefs, such as Native Americans, who structured themselves around a communal life and self-sacrifice rather than hoarding and wage exploitation, could not be accommodated within the ethic of capitalist exploitation, the cult of the self and the lust for imperial expansion. The prosaic was pitted against the allegorical. And as we race toward the collapse of the planet's ecosystem we must restore this older vision of life if we are to survive.

Kenyataan meminta penjelasan mengenai fatwa sertai perhimpunan

Posted: 07 May 2012 08:07 AM PDT

KENYATAAN MEDIA
7 Mei 2012

Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan Dibidas Kerana Keluarkan Fatwa Jaga Kepentingan UMNO

Nik Aziz: Keputusan Majlis Fatwa 'guna sebelah mata'

katanya sambil menambah beliau menghormati anggota Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan.

soal Nik Aziz.

"Justeru cukuplah saya mengatakan, jangan berjalan sebelah kaki, nanti pincang mengatur langkah. Salam hormat saya buat Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan," tambahnya. -mk

PKR bidas Majlis Fatwa kemuka fatwa berbaur "politik murahan" membantu Umno

Sama seperti demo BERSIH tempohari.

I'm up to my neck with work that I think I need a disney world vacation for some rest and recreation soon. Everything that's on my plate right now is labeled as 'super urgent' that sometimes I'm running around like a headless chicken just making sure everything goes according to schedule.

As it is, I just recently lost a huge profit project from not being able to get things done on time, which really is a bummer! It would have seen some hefty profits coming in but unfortunately things didn't work out the way I planned and the job was lost. I was pissed with myself for a couple of days over it which added to stress that I'm going through these days.

As much as I'd like to pick and choose my projects right now but I simply cannot afford to. The price of things out there has tripled tremendously and if I don't accept every project that I can get my hands on, someone else will and I'd end up having a difficult time trying to put food on the table.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm having a tough time struggling and slaving away just to be able to survive every month. Things are not at all cheap out there these days. Just this evening, the wife and me went grocery shopping and had to part with a heck of a lot of cash for the items we bought and the shopping cart not even half full!

I don't know how else to make more money except work like a slave. I honestly blame this all on the useless thieving folks we have running the country who live like kings and queens, living it up with the good stuff while the rest of the country have to suffer like fourth class citizens. And then they have the cheek to tell me to live moderately at that. Heck, how do you think I'm living right now?

I'm praying that the people of Malaysia will succeed in getting that change we all need for a fresh start and for a better future. With that said and done, let me go figure more ways to make some extra money.

Ahh, the children…

Posted: 07 May 2012 06:39 AM PDT

Rozi called me up from her workplace this morning. Yes, the aunt Rozi, new guardian of Sofie's children. In a way, I was glad she called… at least it showed that she already felt comfortable talking to me. On the other hand, her call could mean there's a problem she wanted to talk to me about – a problem involving the children.

True enough, Rozi was getting worried about Azman, the culinary boy. The boy did drop by Rozi's house during last Tuesday's public holiday, but just for a short while and with a specific purpose. Since he needed to get a new guarantor for his PTPK loan, his aunt Rozi, who previously was the second guarantor, has now become the first guarantor, and so she needed to sign the form again. And the second guarantor which he ended up getting one himself… was his other aunt's husband. Yep, the aunt whose house he frequents.
However, according to Rozi, she wasn't too sure herself if the signature of the second guarantor was indeed signed by the uncle, or signed by Azman himself. I remember when I brought the other kids to visit Azman at his college and asked if he had got a second guarantor, he did mention he found one although he refused to mention who. Then when I asked if all the forms had been signed, he said there was no need. Huh? Guarantor need not sign? That's impossible.

Anyway, Rozi's main concern was that Azman could be skipping his classes because Azman's paternal aunt did mention to Rozi that she saw Azman at the other aunt's house. But I told Rozi I had just met one of his lecturer's last week and according to his lecturer, Azman is still showing interest in class. And I assured Rozi that I had already told the lecturer to inform me immediately should Azman start playing truant.

And according to Rozi, Azman now has a new girlfriend… no longer his senior at the culinary school, but his own cousin (who is also 2 years older than him). Ahh, no wonder he loves to frequent the other aunt's house… he wanted to be with the girl! Haiya! And this was the same cousin who got pregnant (out of wedlock) and went for an abortion earlier this year. Sigh…

On the good side, when I asked Rozi about Azlan, the older brother, Rozi said Azlan had changed a lot positively. Before this, Azlan was even more problematic than Azman, not wanting to listen to his mother, always coming home late. His positive changes started when Sofie was still alive, and after Sofie passed on, both Rozi and myself noticed Azlan had indeed become a more responsible person.

Thank God for that. Imagine if both Azlan and Azman gave problems, both Rozi and myself would end up with even more headache!!

Later in the afternoon, Hana called me up and asked if I could check online to see if her daughter managed to secure a place at any of the IPTAs. Somebody told her daughter that the results would be out this afternoon and since she didn't have any internet or even computer at home, she sought my help. She's supposed to register for form 6 this week, and Hana didn't want to buy uniforms etc  only to be using them for a short while should her daughter get offered to any of the IPTAs.

So yes, checked online I did. I have copies of the girl's certs with me, so I already had her IC number to enter. She wasn't successful in her application. And since she didn't apply for TEVT/ILKA (polytechnic colleges & technical/industrial institutes), I suppose form 6 it is for the girl.

I then proceeded to check for Aini's daughter. Earlier on when I went to visit her at her house, she did enter some details online using my netbook, and so I still had her IC number saved. She too wasn't successful in her application for IPTAs. She however, did apply for TEVT/ILKA as well, and so she still stands a chance to further her studies elsewhere instead of continuing with form 6. The results for this one will only be known later some time end of May.

I didn't bother to check for Azlan yet. I was the one who submitted his application online, and based on his results, I didn't bother to apply to IPTAs. Instead I submitted his application for TEVT/ILKA. Which means the results will only be known end of May.
Meanwhile, according to Rozi, Azlan had gone for a 3 weeks training in KL for his new job. He got a job at a car service centre and will continue to work until he gets a place to further his studies. I do hope Azlan will get a place to further his studies in the field he likes – automotive. I want him to get a qualification better than just SPM. At least if Azman gets his Kitchen Practice certificate, he cannot look down on his older brother.

[Instagram] Dinner for three #malayfood

Actually "dinner for three" doesn't really fit the real story. These dishes are actually for one adult, one toddler and one ferocious eating monster – me!

This is my third (or is it forth?!) rice meal for the day. And I might whip up another batch of lauk-pauk for my late night supper! *nangis*

I am now 7 months pregnant but already put on 20+ kilos. Sangat badak kan? Pasrah je lah… *sambung makan nasik*

Anyway Malay food has become a must-have for me during this pregnancy and tonight I made chunky chicken soup with lots of celery, carrots and even snow peas in there as per Miki's request. I fried some ikan kembung garing-garing and sauteed some ladies fingers with anchovies. And the best dish is of course that super pedas cili padi in soy sauce! Yummm…

To make that fibre-laden sauteed okra, I used 3-4 table spoon of EVOO, pound some red onions with garlic and anchovies. You may add green cili padi in there too but I didn't cause Miki cannot take the heat. Sautee the pounded mixture in the olive oil until tender than add some fish sauce.

When cooking sliced okra, never ever add water. That will release the slime from the vegetable so I let the fish sauce reduced a little because I throw the okra into the wok. Stir well and close the lid for 15 seconds, open the lid and stir again then immediately remove from the stove to stop the cooking. The okra should be crisp and delicious. Serve it while it is hot!

Tadaa.. Tak pasal-pasal today I share another recipe yang orang jarang buat.. Tak ke? Hahaha.. I try to add as much fibre and greens in our diet, trust everyone should!

Have a great week ahead guys! Mak Badak signing off…

[Video] Serah Memo Kepada Polis, Kump Pro-UMNO Cuba Sekat Chegu Bard Di Bukit Aman

Posted: 07 May 2012 06:24 AM PDT

-mk

Polis Perlu Tangkap Anggotanya Dengan Segera!

TGNA: Kenapa Takut BERSIH Jika Menang Secara Adil?

Posted: 07 May 2012 01:23 AM PDT

"Takkan Bersih nak gulingkan kerajaan.

-selangorku

Commanding right and forbidding wrong

Posted: 06 May 2012 11:16 PM PDT

SOURCE:Commanding right and forbidding wrong

Commanding right and forbidding wrong, or al-amr bi 'l-maʿruf wa 'n-nahy ʿan al-munkar, is an Islamic doctrine mentioned in the Qur'an. This expression is the base of the Islamic institution of hisbah. It forms a central part of the Islamic doctrine for all Muslims. It is also explicitly referred to in the two Shi'a Ancillaries of the Faith, commanding what is just and forbidding what is evil.

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.
Let there be people among you, who invite to the best [in religion]; and command that which is just, and forbid that which is evil; and they shall be happy.
  • Sura 7.157 translated by Sale
"Those who follow the apostle, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures), – in the law and the Gospel; – for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him, – it is they who will prosper."
  • Sura 9.71 translated by Sale
And the faithful men, and the faithful women are friends one to another: They command that which is just, and they forbid that which is evil; and they are constant at prayer, and pay their appointed alms; and they obey God, and his apostle: Unto these will God be Merciful; for He [is] Mighty [and] Wise.

Malaysians Await Election With Apprehension As UEFA Euro Fever Brewing

Posted: 06 May 2012 11:05 PM PDT

ITS Tadau Kaamatan month. Bulan Lima. Went to a few celebrations already. And yes, BILA ELECTION is such an overused question. Those who are working lamented they have been asked not to take leave. So called politicians are working round the clock to ensure their bosses are retained, given chance to stand, etc etc. Some say its gonna be in June. Or July. Or September. Or November. Or next year. My say? It could be held sooner rather than later. But, surely, by May 13, it is going to be either heartbreak or jubilation for me - depending on how MU ends its campaign this season. Because EURO is not in our book...

PUTRAJAYA, May 7 (Bernama) -- As the frenzy over the UEFA European Football Championship, with the opening match scheduled to kick off in Warsaw, Poland on June 8, gripped the world, Malaysians await the 13th general election in apprehension.
Since UEFA Euro was first held in 1960, it has coincided with three general elections in Malaysia when the coveted tournament was held in 1964 in Spain, 2004 (Portugal) and 2008 (Austria and Switzerland).
Spain are the favourites to retain the title which they won in 2008. If this materialises, Spain will become the first European country to win a treble consecutively -- the Euro 2008, the Fifa World Cup 2010 and the Euro 2012.
Given Malaysians fascination about football as manifested in an advertisement tagline, "Makan Bola, Tidur Bola" (eat football, sleep football) many football fans will stay awake late into the night to watch UEFA Euro matches.
As UEFA Euro progresses to the final on July 1, Malaysians are keeping their fingers crossed whether the next general election will be held during the championship.
Suffice to say, the build up to UEFA Euro 2012 is somewhat similar to the preparations for the 13th general election where political parties get their election machinery in tip-top condition while scouting for winnable candidates.
Candidates, who are a liability to the parties, will be dropped.
As team managers decide on the line-up, likewise Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will field Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates after consulting party's top leaders.
As in football, Najib's decisions will be closely watched as they will have a far-reaching impact on the party and the country.
He has to name candidates, whether old guards and newcomers, who have the physical and mental strength, to endure the political turbulence.
Fielding wrong candidates can be detrimental to the BN and give the opposition an upper hand.
More importantly, Najib needs to create an unbeatable cohesive team to thwart the opposition onslaughts as the coming election will be keenly contested like a football final.
As Najib has until April 28 next year to dissolve Parliament, political parties and pundits are playing a guessing game when the election will be held.
The Election Commission has hinted that Parliament might be dissolved as early as May to make way for the general election within 60 days.
The excitement over the date of the next general election heighten after BN secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor asked BN component parties to submit their list of candidates.
The lists are said to have been handed over to Najib.
The fluttering flags of political parties in many places signifies the general election is around the corner.
Speculation about the election date is drawing nearer is rife after former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad recently asked Najib to hold the general election soon as the political situation favoured the BN.
Dr Mahathir was quoted as saying that Najib's has the edge for his leadership, which was noted by various transformation programmes, was well-received by the people.
As the coming general election is expected to be more intense than before, Najib has to be cautious in determining the right time to dissolve Parliament.
He must ensure that a thorough preparation is made not only by Umno, but also other BN component parties besides gauging the opposition's strength.
The public acceptance of his leadership is a good indication of BN's advantage in recapturing opposition-led states and winning a two-thirds majority.
Najib had said that history has shown BN's resurgence after going through big tests like the May 13 disturbance, the deregistration of Umno and the dismissal of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from all government and political posts.
Besides Mahathir, former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin and several political analysts were also confidence of the BN's good showing.
Najib, who took over the reins on April 3, 2009, has proven his mettle as a visionary leader with the people enjoying the fruit of his labour through the national transformation programmes.
As a people-oriented leader, he is serious about correcting government weaknesses and going down to the grassroots to attend to their problems.
The 2008 political tsunami was a bitter lesson to the BN. Najib and the BN definitely do not want another nightmare to occur. -- BERNAMA

Rogol dekat tangga sekolah

The Rainbow Bridge

Posted: 06 May 2012 08:26 PM PDT

This post is specially for dog and cat lovers.

The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All of the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor and those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, after so long a time, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

A Prayer For Dog and Cat Lovers

by anonymous

My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you will be very painful for me. Remember that before you get me.

Give me time to understand what you want from me.

Place your trust in me. It is crucial to my well-being.

Don't be angry with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work and entertainment as friends. I have only you.

Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't understand your words, I understand your voice.

Be aware that however you treat me, I'll never forget it.

Please don't hit me. I can't hit back, but I can bite and scratch and I really don't want to do that.

Before you scold me for being uncooperative, obstinate or lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right foods or I've been out in the sun too long or my heart is getting old and weak.

Take care of me when I get old. You will grow old, too. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say "I can't bear to watch," or "Let it happen in my absence".

Everything is easier for me if you are there. Remember I love you!

Peserta PLKN Selamatkan Maruah Najib Di Taman Gelora Kuantan

Posted: 06 May 2012 09:04 PM PDT

BERITA PANAS MENDIDIH TAPI BENAR!!!!!....

-omakkau
