Prometheus @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid

Prometheus @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid

Prometheus @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 09:18 AM PDT

Last Saturday night or should i say last Sunday... why? Cause the movie starts @ 12:30am.

Last Sunday early morning, I was watching the Prometheus with my friends @ TGV Club Sunway Pyramid. The movie ticket is RM25 per pax. Yup! it's expensive so i always have a thought that it's overrated and not value for money.

Anyway, the different between the TGV Club and the normal TGV cinema is
  1. No need to line up for tickets.
  2. No need to standing around the entrance waiting for the number to be light up.
  3. No need to line up for food and drinks. Just order and the food/drink will be served.
  4. More room for leg and the seat is more comfortable.
  5. The price of cause is more expensive, it's double the normal TGV cinema.
  6. No kiddos shouting "mama this, papa that"... I wondered how much is the ticket for kiddo.
When we arrived, the cinema was not ready... We were waiting at the designated lounge. It's so quiet. No wonder my friend told me after i tried it first time, i will like the TGV Club... It's true i love it already...

TGV Club lounge
Okay enough of TGV Club... back to the Prometheus... I don't really enjoy the movie as i don't really like those movie with disgusting and darker scenes like the previous movie Aliens#1,2,3... so on. So the Prometheus is about the same scene as Aliens. I don't want to be a spoiler, i know a lot of you might not have watched this movie...

I got mixed comments on this movie from friends before and after i watched, so not sure whether it's recommended or not. Anyhow, this is just not my cup of tea... the only thing i enjoyed is the graphic... not to mention the nice TGV Club environment :p

Siri Bercakap Dengan Miki – Cinderella Nak Kawin

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 09:01 AM PDT

Yesterday, Miki and his Dad was watching TV when all of a sudden Miki gave him a stern reminder.

"Daddy.." he said. "Daddy ada kerja lagi Daddy tak buat! Daddy lupa eh?"
"Kerja apa?" his Dad replied.
"Tu tong sampah tu…." He pointed to the nearest dustbin. "Dah penuh, kenapa tak buang sampah lagi?"
Poyo kan? Bossy pulak tu.. Oh boy..

A couple of weeks ago I downloaded Disney's Cinderella the movie and watched it with Miki. He actually liked it especially the characters of those loving cheeky mice and that naughty fat cat. So I thought he didn't get the romantic part of the movie. He watched it a couple of times and since this was his first exposure to Cinderella (I never read to him the story), we wanted to test his memory and comprehension.

Azman and I asked several questions pertaining the storyline and he answered all correctly which means he really did understand the English movie. Then came a question that didn't actually have a direct answer.

'Kenapa evil stepmother tu tak suka and marah kat Cinderella, Miki?" his Daddy asked. I would be very impressed if he can tell me that she is jealous of her beauty and grace but if he answered "sebab evil step mother tu orang jahat" pun dah good enough to me. But instead Miki put his tiny chubby hands on his Daddy's face, lean very close and whispered shyly to his ear.

"SEBAB CINDERELLA KATA DIA NAK KAHWIN!"

*gelak sampai pengsan tergolek-golek*

Miki can be super excited and super creative when it comes to naming his lil brother. Here are some names that he really likes and he insists us to name our latest bundle of joy with one of these:

1) Kasih (if she is a girl)
2) Dindin Generation Power
3) Generation Two Powerful Fighting Bot ( coz he is The Generation One)
4) Nize Mikael (wth?? Khairuyusnizam Abdul Rahim punya nama kot tu!)
5) I-Like-You
6) Zeus Mikael (fuyooooo.. this is influenced by the movie Real Steel definately)

We also have 2 baby bunny rabbits in the family, making a total of 12 or 13 pet rabbits altogether. They are about a month old and guess what Miki named the one white one… MOJO JOJO! And the black one? I cannot believe this.. He call it STILL IN PROGRESS! What kind of name is that? Ayoyoo…

20120612-002742.jpg

I wrote this as my Facebook status a few months ago when I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I don't wanna forget about it so I am sharing it right here.. :)

"Yesterday Miki talked for 15 minutes about the characteristic of the car he is going to buy once he gets a job. It is a green car with sirens and missiles at the back. Miki is going to drive Mummy and Daddy to Mamak with that car and once Adik Miki keluar, Adik will sit at the back. The car has many cool button, click on this one and flowers will come out, click on that and another car will come out. There are dozens of buttons and Mummy can't remember their functions already but there is this button that if you press it, pizza, drinks complete with serviettes, fork and spoon will appear. I told Miki this is the best button because Mummy doesn't have to cook. Then Miki said there is another button kalau tekan keluar longkang. LONGKANG?

"Aah, keluar longkang senang Mummy nak muntah…"

Nice observation Miki, you know since I got preggie with your Adik, I keep vomiting 24-7, kadang-kadang kat longkang tepi jalan. Thanks for having that wonderful longkang feature in your car especially for me, Cimiki. You are so thoughtful and Mummy loves you and the longkang very much!"

Isn't my baby Miki the sweetest thing? He can break my heart and bring me the tears of joy all at the same time. I wish I could spend a whole lot more time with him, reading to him, teaching him lessons ( he can read Peter and Jane now, just love listening to him read) but both Mummy and Daddy has to work and we come back home quite late. Time is so limited and precious. His babysitter, Mummy Rose told me, often Miki would go out of her front door into the porch, look up at the sky and see if the sun was still shining. He would then walk back slowly into the house while saying…

"Siang lagi… Mummy Miki datang masa malam…."

Miki, indeed you are often the last kid to leave the babysitter's place. And indeed Mummy tends to fetch you when it is already dark at night. I want you to know that I am guilty in my bones and it breaks my heart so much sometimes I wish I work as a receptionist or clerk or whatever that doesn't require me to work long hours, so that I can fetch you at 6 and then we can go for an ice cream or to the park and ride bicycles. But living life is not that easy Miki, and I want you to know even if you are the last kid to leave, our love for you is not a quarter of a nanogramm less… In fact we love you more than the life itself.

[DEDAH] Kes Bukit Kepong: Perbicaraan Baru Bermula, Mat Sabu Dah Menang Dulu

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 10:30 AM PDT

Pengadu mohon maaf, minta Mat Sabu dibebas

Soalan: Kamu setuju kamu sendiri tak dengar ceramah Mat Sabu?

Jawapan: Ya, setuju.

Kamu setuju apabila kamu tak dengar apa yang Mat Sabu kata, kamu sebenarnya tak tahu apa yang Mat Sabu kata?

Ya. Setuju.

Tidak, saya mahu minta maaf pada Mat Sabu dan he is now my brother. Saya mahu Mat Sabu dibebaskan.

Liow gives up his grandfather's fave no 15: WWW15

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 09:07 AM PDT

The following letter published in Malaysia Today is one man's thoughts on the controversy surrounding the bidding of 'WWW 15':

http://mstar.com.my/archives/2010/1/27/mstar_berita/Solah1.jpg
Who is Solah's boss? Transport Minister Kong Cho Ha, the MCA secretary-general. So it is now a damage control exercise to get Liow off the controversy.
Lee Kee
It has been a while since I last penned my thoughts in response to public issues, especially those involving MCA and its leaders.
To me, many issues involving MCA and its leaders have become so stale and idiotic that it is just a waste of time to respond. I stand to be corrected that I get the feeling that many also feel the same about MCA and Barisan Nasional (BN)-Umno and they have already decided who they want to give their ballots to in the next general election which must be held within 60 days after March 8, 2013.
The MCA and its leaders have been harping and harping on stale issues. They also continue to belittle and insult the people's intelligence with their idiotic statements and responses to public issues.
But, the MCA's mouthpiece, The Star, on June 9 ran a typical story spun to help get its master, MCA deputy president Liow Tiong Lai, off the hook on the controversial bid for WWW 15.
"We will give Liow three choices, says JPJ" was the obnoxious news headline to the intelligent public.
The JPJ (Road Transport Department) director-general Solah Mat Hassan said Liow, as Health Minister, was entitled to the choice motor vehicle registration number free of charge.
Well! Is that so? Then why did he put in his RM24,200 bid for the number? Was the MCA No.2 just ignorant or plain stupid?
Solah said: "He (Liow) has three choices. He can get the number plate for free, he can pay the amount he had originally bid, or if he is no longer interested, he can reject the offer."
That clearly sounds like an attempt to get Liow off the controversial bid. What about the Johor Sultan, other ministers and deputy ministers? Why not free?
Who is Solah's boss? Transport Minister Kong Cho Ha, the MCA secretary-general. So it is now a damage control exercise to get Liow off the controversy.
Worst still, all sorts of contradicting statements have been made by Liow to paint the matter as a non-issue, thus making him look like a compulsive liar in public, after the Tung Shin Hospital lie.
Now it is Solah who was apparently instructed to try and get Liow off the hook.
Here, I wish to state that there is nothing wrong with the JPJ making money from businessmen and the rich who are so willing and ready to part their money for choice car registration numbers.
After all, they are contributing to the government's coffers which should rightly then benefit the people, if the earnings are spent rightly.
However, the issue which The Star and every other BN-friendly print media are avoiding is the morality of the bid.
Firstly, why is a first-term minister like Liow flaunting his wealth?
Secondly, the public must seriously question Liow's integrity as a public servant, after being caught lying over the police attack on Tung Shin Hospital during Bersih 2.0 and now this controversy.
Liow has been reported as saying that:
HE DID not bid for the number;
HE DID not know who is footing the bill for the number;

IT IS for his official car (Why then was it not registered with the ministry, as is the normal practice?); and
THE number meant "nothing special" and was not important to him and then contradicts by saying that the number is that of his grandfather's car.
All these appear to be afterthought contradictory statements and responses for fear of a backlash on Liow's political career.
To the people, as far as the MCA is concerned the party is a goner – led by an immoral president Dr Chua Soi Lek and his compulsive lying deputy.

Anak Sungai Derhaka, a blogger, also wrote a post in Malay on this issue. It's entitled: WWW1 Sultan Johor, WWW15 Liow Tiong Lai.. PKR1 siapa pula nak cuba?

The Rohingya: Myanmar’s outcasts

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 07:16 AM PDT

Source: The Rohingya: Myanmar's outcasts by Ambassador Akbar Ahmed  in AlJazeera

The Rohingya, whom the BBC calls "one of the world's most persecuted minority groups", are the little-publicised and largely forgotten Muslim people of the coastal Rakhine state of western Myanmar. Their historic lineage in Rakhine dates back centuries, as fishermen and farmers. Over the past three decades, the Rohingya have been systematically driven out of their homeland by Myanmar's military junta and subjected to widespread violence and the total negation of their rights and citizenship within Myanmar. They are a stateless Muslim minority.

Washington, DC – The image of a smiling Daw Aung San Suu Kyi receiving flowers from her supporters is a powerful message of freedom and optimism in Myanmar, the symbol of democracy in a country which has known nothing but authoritarian oppression for decades.

Yet few ask one of the most pressing questions facing Daw Suu Kyi. How will she deal with the Rohingya?

"The Rohingya," you will ask. "Who are they?"

The continued tragedy of the unrecognised Rohingya, both in Myanmar and as refugees abroad, casts a dark shadow over the bright hopes and prospects for democracy in a country plagued by violence and civil war. Suu Kyi is ideally placed to extend democratic reforms to all ethnic peoples, including the Rohingya, in a free Myanmar.

Though the Rohingya may be small in number at less than two million, the real lesson of the Arab Spring is that no notion of democracy can succeed without the inclusion of all people within a country's borders. Every member of society, regardless of race and religion, must be given their due rights as citizens.

"While many ethnic minorities in Myanmar have been the victims of the central government's oppressive measures, the Rohingya stand apart in that their very existence is threatened."

While many ethnic minorities in Myanmar have been the victims of the central government's oppressive measures, the Rohingya stand apart in that their very existence is threatened. The Rohingya's plight abroad as refugees in places such as Bangladesh and Thailand has seen glimmers of the media spotlight, but less attention has been brought to the underlying cause of their flight: the violence and cultural oppression at home.

These policies were enacted by Myanmar's government to force the Rohingya outside of Myanmar as a result of their being Muslim and ethnically non-Myanma. The government erroneously labelled them as "illegal Bengali immigrants" in their efforts to eradicate the Rohingya culture.

Kings to refugees

Yet, the long history of the Rohingya and the Rakhine state contradicts the government's claims. The medieval Kingdom of Arakan, encompassing the Muslim Rohingya, was once an enlightened centre of culture, knowledge and trade, displaying a harmonic blend of Buddhism and Islam in its administration and court life. The kingdom's cosmopolitan and international capital city, Mrauk U, was described in the 17th century as "a second Venice" by a Portuguese Jesuit priest and was often compared to Amsterdam and London by travellers and writers of the time.

It was the 1784 military conquest by Bodawpaya, the king of Burma (now Myanmar), that transformed this once vibrant kingdom into an oppressed peripheral region. After this, many haunting tales began to circulate of Burmese soldiers rounding up the Rohingya in bamboo enclosures to burn them alive, and marching thousands to the city of Amarapura to work, effectivley as slave labour, on infrastructure projects.

Rohingya boat people stuck in limbo

With the rise to power of the military junta in 1962 under General Ne Win, a policy of "Myanmarisation" was implemented as an ultra-nationalist ideology based on the racial purity of the Myanma ethnicity and its Buddhist faith. The Rohingya, as both Muslims and non-Myanma, were stripped of their legitimacy and officially declared foreigners in their own native land. With the passage of the junta's 1982 Citizenship Law, they effectively ceased to exist legally.

Stripped officially of their citizenship, the Rohingya found their lives in limbo: prohibited from the right to own land or property, barred from travelling outside their villages, repairing their decaying places of worship, receiving an education in any language or even marrying and having children without rarely granted government permission. The Rohingya have also been subjected to modern-day slavery, forced to work on infrastructure projects, such as constructing "model villages" to house the Myanmar settlers intended to displace them, reminiscent of their treatment at the hands of the Burmese kings of history.

The denial of citizenship and rights was accompanied by a military strategy of physical and cultural war designed to drive the Rohingya out of Myanmar.

The initial push of the military's ethnic cleansing campaign came in 1978 under Operation Naga Min, or Operation King Dragon. The purpose of this operation was to scrutinise each individual within the state as either a citizen or alleged "illegal immigrant". This resulted in widespread rape, arbitrary arrests, desecration of mosques, destruction of villages and confiscation of lands among the Rohingya people. In the wake of this violence, nearly a quarter of a million Rohingya fled to neighbouring Bangladesh, many of whom were later repatriated to Myanmar where they faced further torture, rape, jail and death.

In 1991, a second push, known as Operation Pyi Thaya or Operation Clean and Beautiful Nation, was launched with the same purpose, resulting in further violence and another massive flow of 200,000 Rohingya refugees into Bangladesh. Non-governmental organisations from Europe and North America estimate that 300,000 Rohingya refugees remain in Bangladesh, with only 35,000 residing in registered refugee camps and receiving some sort of assistance from NGOs.

Acknowledging the Rohingya

Those remaining, more than 250,000, are in a desperate situation without food and medical assistance, largely left to slowly starve to death. The December 2011 refugee repatriation agreement reached between Myanmar President Thein Sein and Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will exclude the Rohingya, due to their lack of Myanmar citizenship, one of the conditions for repatriation for the expected 2,500 returning refugees.

The Rohingya predicament underlines a paradox for the world's great faiths, straddling the divide between Islamic Asia and Buddhist Asia. Each emphasises compassion and kindness and yet, we see little evidence of this in their dealings with the Rohingya people.

As part of this current study on the relationship between centre and periphery in the Muslim world, we recently interviewed Dr Wakar Uddin, Chairman of The Burmese Rohingya Association of North America (BRANA). A gentle and learned man, he is an energetic ambassador for his Rohingya people with a firm grasp of regional history. All the Rohingya want is the reinstatement of their citizenship in their own land, as revoked by the former dictator General Ne Win, and the dignity, human rights and opportunities that come with it.

Suu Kyi and the National League for Democracy have a unique opportunity to reach out to the Rohingya people and include them in the new democratic process. The NLD should work with the central government to expand the role of all ethnic minorities as full Myanma citizens.

By acknowledging their rights, the government will bestow upon the Rohingya the dignity and the responsibilities of citizenship and present opportunities for mutual cultural understanding and the repatriation of the thousands of refugees existing in purgatory, separated from their homes and families. Great strides have recently been made by the Myanmar government towards the creation of an open and democratic political system and an end to ethnic violence, yet this is only the beginning.

With the recognition of the Rohingya as Myanma citizens, Suu Kyi will honour the memory of her father, Aung San, as he, before his untimely and tragic death, also reached out to ethnic minorities to participate in an independent Myanmar. Only then can a democratic and modern Myanmar be legitimate and successful in the eyes of its own people.

But the first step is to acknowledge the Rohingya exist.

This article is the first in a series by Ambassador Akbar Ahmed, a former Pakistani high commissioner to the UK, exploring how a litany of volatile centre/periphery conflicts with deep historical roots were interpreted after 9/11 in the new global paradigm of anti-terrorism – with profound and often violent consequences. Incorporating in-depth case studies from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, Ambassador Ahmed will ultimately argue that the inability for Muslim and non-Muslim states alike to either incorporate minority groups into a liberal and tolerant society or resolve the "centre vs periphery" conflict is emblematic of a systemic failure of the modern state – a breakdown which, more often than not, leads to widespread violence and destruction. The violence generated from these conflicts will become the focus, in the remainder of the 21st century, of all those dealing with issues of national integration, law and order, human rights and justice.

Busy weeks ahead…

Our Family Day is coming up on the 1st July… that's less than 3 weeks to go. With 92 pax confirming attendance (not inclusive of volunteers), 52 of them the families of my clients, guess who has to make the most calls? Although usually there'd be a few (sometimes quite a lot) last minute pullouts, somehow I expect the total attendance to be quite high this year. Wonder if we can beat our previous record of 94 pax total turnout (including volunteers) we had in 2010.
The biggest headache is usually arranging the transportation for the various families. But more volunteers have indicated they'd attend this year's Family Day, so I'm hoping they can help out in that department.
Meanwhile, this Saturday, we will be setting up an exhibition booth during UniKL-RCMP Open day. If you happen to be in or around Ipoh this Saturday, 16th June 2012, do drop by.
Anyway, I am running out of weekends to do any outdoor training for my Kinabalu attempt in July, so when some friends invited me to join them to hike up Bukit Tabur (West), I decided to join them. So yep, that was what I did yesterday, Sunday 10th June. Kerja gila at some parts, but the view from up there was spectacular!

But before anyone decides to simply go up Tabur to view for themselves the above sceneries, do take into account, this is not a walk in the park…

Stop the Ethnic Cleansing of Rohingya Myanmar Citizens

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 05:37 AM PDT

I  got a message:::

Current Ethnic-Religious Riots in the Rakhine (Arakan) State of Myanmar leads to "Ethnic Cleansing"

In relation to the massacre of 10 Muslim pilgrims in "Taung-goup" township on 3rd June 2012, the Rohingya people in "Maungdaw" township held a special prayer for the departed souls and later they staged a peaceful demonstration on 8th June 2012.

Local Rakhines (Arakanese) provoked the peaceful demonstrators with verbal abuses using racial slur "Ku-Lar" (Indian/ black-skin/dark-skin) and swearing. Soon, security forces started firing into the air as a warning, and shortly after, firing aim turned to the crowd. Two young men died on the spot while a dozen or more severely injured.

Starting from that evening, the authority imposed curfew in "Maungdaw" township from dusk to dawn (6 PM to 6 AM) under the resolution 144. This biased resolution has been imposed on the Muslim Rohingya people only so that the Rakhines (Arakanese) can go out freely to loot and destroy the properties belongs to the Rohigya people.   Local Rakhines (Arakanese) join the security forces, Nasaka (border guards), Hlun-tin (riot police) and police to rampage the Rohingya people. Within the curfew period, while the Rohingya people are inside their houses, security forces and the Rakhine (Arakanese) set fire on houses from ward to ward and village to village. Whenever people run out of houses that are on fire, they are being shot, and if dead, carried away by trucks of security. An unknown number of Rohingya people have been burnt to death inside the houses. Therefore, there's no way to concretely say how many people are being killed.   Sound of gun-shots are being heard sporadically and thus far following the Rohingya people were killed and known to general public: -Two people from Khasar Bil, age 25 and 27 -Two boys from Khainda Fara, age 10 and 12 -Two people from Hati Fara, Molvi Mohammed Salim, s/o Lalu, age 29, and Mohamed Zubair, s/o Mustak, age 35 -At Ward #5, near the old prison, security forces along with the Rakhines killed 2 Rohinyga people at around 9:15pm. -Mohammed Rafique s/o Mohammed Yousuf, age 25 from Bomu Para -Molvi Habib Ullah, age 42 from Khazir Bil   At least one Masjid at Ward #5, the house of former NDPH MP Faisal is confirmed burnt. Three houses of Razak, Lalu and a firewood trader, were set on fire at Ward #5 at about 4:00 pm by the Rakhines in front of security forces. When the Rohingya people rushed to the spot, the security force barred them by shooting.

Right before my eyes, I can see humanity reduced to nothingness

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 04:42 AM PDT

Right before my eyes, I can see humanity reduced to nothingness when both sides of people call for revenge, retribution and killings in the name of justice and righteousness.

Educated and not so educated people are now nothing more than piles of feces in front of computers, with that their so called new found cowardly courage.

I do not condone violence, for whatever reason it is. It's not our duty to call for others death, life is precious.

I am not neutral, I never pledge any alliance to any party or groups. I stand alone, and shall be this way till my last breath.

Rohingya Muslims are being butchered by their 'countrymen of different religion' with the help of instigators.

Just look around, Rohingya are like other ethnic races in Burma. They suffered the most, stripped of citizenship n chased away since the 40s and again in 80s till now. They r as much as Myanmar citizens as you all are.

What race r u again?

Amazing race?

They live as refugees and their livelihood is begging in: Malaysia, Thailand, Bangladesh and Singapore.

I always take the side of those who are oppressed.

When my friends started calling for killings and massacre of these Muslims, I will not allow it, just as how I defended the Buddhist Monks during the saffron revolution and also when Chin and Kachin Christians are being butchered by the Government or when the government soldiers are rounded up and executed by their captors, I defended them.

Aren't we all created by one true God? I am not asking much from any of you people, I am not telling you to change your mind. All I am asking is for you to read up more on what been taking place in Burma for over hundreds of years.

Now u guys threaten to kill me, I am not afraid, you don't have to fear me that much till u go to that extent of shutting me up.

Don't you people know that you guys too are migrated from another place and ends up in this country?

Either Lumbini or Lazio, it's just name of places. Just that you all were a little earlier. Now hundreds of these Muslims are being butchered just because of their identity, I am sure you all are proud of it now.

Just label anyone infidels, barbarians or terrorists, and you can kill them senseless huh?

UNHCR doesn't want to help these people because they are Muslims while other ethnic groups can go to 3rd countries easily.

Malaysian government doesn't recognize them as refugee and basic needs such as educations are neglected.

OIC & NAM always turn a blind eye.

Qatari PM would rather enjoy having fun in his new 7 story super yacht while docked at Monaco.

Saudi government would rather donate US 10mil every year to Myanmar military then those who are oppressed.

Recently at a newly established Muslim group, the guy with a huge beard doesn't want to include Rohingya in the group, he said, this is only for Burmese Muslims, and when people ask Burmese Muslims whether they are Rohingya, we will quickly, in lighting speed correct them, no, I am not Rohingya, I am Burmese Muslim, with an annoyed tone and expression that being mistakenly called Rohingya is a derogatory term.

In universities n in communities, Burmese Muslims don't really get along with Rohingya too. Now we blame feeble minded and easily instigated 'Arakan-not-so-religious-zealots' but the seed of this problem too originated from us.

All these so called Muslim/Christian/Buddhist associations and groups are also useless. They only care for their own wellbeing and business.

One businessman from Singapore, when he heard about this, he was worried, as a Muslim, he will be sidelined from future business endeavor in Burma, how pathetic!

I never thought  in my life time people of Burma will see the military as their savior, hailed as their beloved hero.

Yes, we now need the military more than ever, without them, there will be no peace n prosperity.

We the Burmese people deserve to be treated this way by them. Since Ne Win's time, we have been under their rule, why change now? We shouldn't. We deserve the bottom end of hell, nothing more, and nothing less.

When I met (Mr.) Bertil Lintner last year, he warned that there will be a nasty campaign against the Muslims in Arakan and i didn't take it seriously, its already this bad, how can it get worse, now, this is the proof.

Insult me, prosecute me, threaten my life, go ahead, do whatever you want, my life is not yours. It belongs to my Creator.

I am ashamed n embarrassed by fellow humans for their lack of compassion and understandings.

Life is a test, we know not when we will be in the place of those who are suffering, fret not, life is just.

We live in a moment of history where changes are so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is disappearing.

Muhammad (saw) & Buddha will be ashamed of us, this is not what They taught us. ]

Karma is blind, I pray for your well being.

God bless!

May God liberate those who are being oppressed around the world.

(Forgive me for being harsh, reality stings)

JPJ diberi 48 jam perjelas isu WWW 15

When I was in primary school, I remember looking up the thesaurus to learn new words so that I could have an edge over others during squabbles in school. I remember learning words such as 'nincom****, mor*n, numbsk*ll, f**head, bonehead, buffoon, ignaramus idiot (cos idiot was not forceful enough), simpleton and other descriptors.

It was pretty funny then cos during arguments, a string of insults would be forcefully expelled after which we would be making copious notes and trying to do more 'research' to expand our *cough* vocabulary. There were no vulgarities used - strictly unusual words in the English language!

By the time I was in Form 5, we shuddered in silence for our history teacher was the fiercest and most intimidating teacher we had ever had. Even so, many loved her. I remember taking notes of the phrases she used to scold us and if I mentioned any of them, I am sure many out there would immediately know her identity. If it had happened in the 21st century, oh - I can imagine the brouhaha which would have erupted. Another class had a very witty Maths teacher, whose wife was my House mistress. Twenty years later, we became colleagues!

Anyway, I have been very busy helping my friend's son for his A-level literature papers and have been poring over King Henry IV Part 1, Hamlet, Hard Times, A Street Car Named Desire, A Passage to India and poems after poem. For a welcome change to de-stress, I thought I'd share with you a selection of some of the best insults that Shakespeare wrote in his plays! Enjoy...Who knows - these might come in handy one day :-)

Have a lovely evening!

Kenyataan Media: “Pulangkan Padang Kami”

UNTUK SEBARAN SEGERA

PULANGKAN PADANG KAMI

Saya rujuk laporan akhbar The Star "Chan Ah Tong field in Brickfields to make way for development" (11 Jun 2012) yang melaporkan padang Chan Ah Tong telah diberikan kepada Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) dalam satu pelan pertukaran penswastaan (privatization exchange plan).

Kenyataan Media: Penolakan Usul Tergempar Mengecewakan

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 02:11 AM PDT

KENYATAAN MEDIA
11 Jun 2012

Alasan yang digunapakai oleh Speaker menggunakan Peraturan Mesyuarat 23 1. (h): sesuatu pertanyaan itu tidak boleh dikeluarkan dengan tujuan hendak mendapat buah fikiran atau hendak mendapat penyelesaian berkenaan dengan perkara undang-undang yang belum menjadi masalah atau kerana hendak mendapat jawab dalam perkara yang dimisal-dimisalkan sahaja;

[VIDEO] Siapa Menteri Umno Ugut Raja Melayu Diseret Di Jalan Raya, Campak Ke Kawah? -updated

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 11:11 AM PDT

"Dia tanya, Harmy buat apa tu? Tak tidur ke? Belum Tuanku.

"Ni esey ni dapat panggilan telefonlah. Telefon apa Tuanku?

" kata beliau.

BIAR KERATAN-KERATAN AKHBAR BERBICARA... BIARPUN KISAH LAMA PURBA, TAPI DEMI DEMI PENCERAHAN MINDA.... SIAPA SEBENARNYA MENGHINA RAJA-RAJA MELAYU...

Melayu mudah lupa.. Melayu mudah lupa..

Dizaman beliaulah UMNO tanpa rasa segan silu malahan cukup bangga dan megah menerjah Institusi Raja-Raja Melayu sehingga tercalar amat parah lagi teruk...

Don't Forget to Remember This...

Your presence is a present to the world.
You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.

Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You will make it through whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Do not put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and your prize.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.
Do not take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot … goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life's treasure are people together.

Realize that it is never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have hearth and hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a start.

AND DO NOT EVER FORGET ….
FOR EVEN A DAY
HOW VERY SPECIAL YOU ARE !

Hardliners planning to sabotage Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s Europe trip with anti-Muslim Riots in Yangon

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 01:41 AM PDT

Moreover, some media are also giving false news. There is some instigation to attack mosques and Muslims in Yangon on 15 June 2012. Some gatherings were made at Shwedagon Pagoda too.

We would be very much grateful if you could kindly arrange to stop this mischief supported by some officials who do not want reforms in Myanmar and to provide proper protection from further possible attacks in other states and division.

My friend a doctor who is active in religious work sent the following message:

Dear Sir

Peace be upon you.

Following the massacre in Taunggoke, the attacks on Muslims in Rakhine spreads to Sittwe (Capital) and Yanbye cities,

Many Muslim villages were burnt including some mosques.

Some Muslims have been killed.

The Government (wrongly) accused that Alqaida and Bengalis are coming inside Myanmar. Some media instigate three BengaliI boats headed to Myanmar but the Myanmar Navy caught a baot.

In fact, three Rakhine Buddhist boats from Taunggoke headed to Sittwe, not Bengali boats. Moreover, a Muslim woman named Hameeda (26)) daughter of Abdul Ghani was raped by three soldiers from Nasaka (U Ne Win plus two) on 29 May 2012 in Yathetaung township, Ah-naut-pyin village. But the media hide this news while highlighting the case of Thida Htwe (Buddhist woman), according the statement issued by the National Democratic Party for Development on 6 June 2012. And the party has already informed to the government on 14 June 2012 about possible attacks on Muslims but there was no response.

According to witnesses, many Buddhists wearing Kurta (India dress and hats), pretending to be Muslims, and made misconceives.

Moreover, some media are also giving false news. There is some instigation to attack mosques and Muslims in Yangon on 15 May. Some gatherings were made at Shwedagon Pagoda too.

We would be very much grateful if you could kindly arrange to stop this mischief supported by some officials who do not want reforms in Myanmar and to provide proper protection from further possible attacks in other states and division.

Dr Ariffin & Syed Shahir Angkat Sumpah Senator Wakili Negeri PR Pulau Pinang

Posted: 11 Jun 2012 01:14 AM PDT

– Roketkini

Saya rujuk laporan akhbar The Star "Chan Ah Tong field in Brickfields to make way for development" (11 Jun 2012) yang melaporkan padang Chan Ah Tong telah diberikan kepada Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) dalam satu pelan pertukaran penswastaan (privatization exchange plan).
