Insiden Gombak Bayangan 13 Mei Yang Disebut Shahrizat?

Insiden berdarah Gombak, Umno ulangi tragedi 13 Mei – Shamsul

Bukti SMS Umno arah provokasi ceramah Gombak

-KD

Back-to-schook shopping 2 : Sofie’s children

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 05:10 AM PST

wad64

After a one day break from back-to-school shopping on Tuesday because of the exhibition in conjunction with World Aids Day in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, today I continued with round 2 of shopping, this time with Sofie's 2 youngest children, Ika and Saiful.

It had been quite some time since I last went to visit them at home, so this time I figured I might as well just bring the 2 of them instead of bringing them together with other kids from a few other families like I had planned earlier. Besides, Saiful needed to get a new pair of glasses done, so it was more practical if I brought them out separately.

Told the kids I'd fetch them at 10 am, when I got there 10 minutes early, they were ready. Even their Aunt Rozi was home, but she didn't come along shopping with us as she was actually on MC. Without the aunt, I had to help them choose the schooling necessities, especially their uniforms and shoes. (usually when I bring the children out shopping, I'd just let their mothers/guardians help their children choose and I'd just pay) Ika and Saiful weren't really the fussy type, so there wasn't really any problem in that department, although I had to keep reminding them of what else to buy.

"Apa lagi belum ambik?"

"Dah, semua dah ada."

"Pencil colour dah ambik?"

"Eh, ha'ah, lupa!"

We finished shopping before noon, then I brought them for lunch before we headed to the optical shop where Saiful did his glasses before. And why on earth did he have to make a new pair? You see, he wore his glasses while playing football in school and while trying to catch the ball (he was the goalkeeper) he knocked the goalpost and broke the frame into 2! His aunt went to a few optical shops trying to get new frames without having to replace the lenses, but all said they didn't have suitable frames. He'd have to make a new pair and with the high power (950/750), they all said they'd have to charge RM500 at least. And how much did I manage to get the new pair for Saiful today? RM400.

That done, I brought them home. Ika said she had to go for tuition at 2 pm. Tuition? Yep, their next door neighbour offers very cheap tuition for children within the neighbourhood at RM8 per month (she just wants to help the kids I think, RM8 charged just as a token amount), but for Ika and Saiful, the lady gives them FREE tuition. I guess, knowing the children's situation, she just wanted to help them. May Allah bless her!

Since I was there, I figured I might as well get some updates on their older brothers… the eldest, Azlan, now doing a mechanical course in IKM, and Azman, the culinary boy, remember?

Apparently Azman did not complete his course at the culinary school. He had been using his Tabung Kemahiran loan to spend like a rich man's kid. And making things worse, his aunt (the one who had earlier spread to the whole kampong about Sofie being HIV+) kept on calling him, asking him to stay with her. And so he did. After failing to pay his hostel fees for a few months and the admin of the school kept reminding him about it, he just simply left. Just like that. What a waste! What he still doesn't realise until now is that HE is the one who loses. Not anyone else.

Azman is so bigheaded he even uses "aku" and "engkau" to talk to his Aunt Rozi. Rozi has given up on him. If he prefers to stay with the aunt who had caused so much suffering for his mother when she was still alive, then there wasn't much Rozi could do. Azlan, the older brother, tried to advise him, but they ended up fighting. Even Saiful and Ika got pissed off with Azman.

As for Azlan, according to Rozi, he seems to enjoy the mechanical course he's doing now. As a matter of fact, even though he is just about to complete only his first semester of his 2-year certificate level course, he is already considering going on to diploma level. Good for him! I hope he will succeed.

I guess we can't win them all. For the moment there's not much I can do about Azman but to hope and pray that he will one day realise his  mistakes and change before it's too late. As for Saiful, he will be sitting for his PMR next year, and since his interest also lies in the mechanical line, he is hoping to join a vocational school in form 4.

Ika is still in primary school, not doing too bad in her studies (she was 9th in class for the last school exam). I hope she will continue to see the importance of education for her future…

Keluarga Aminulrasyid Tidak Puas Hati Dengan Keputusan Mahkamah Bebaskan Jenain

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 06:04 AM PST

-TMI

Keadilan untuk Aminulrashid: Peguam Negara didesak fail rayuan

KUALA LUMPUR 5 Dis: KEADILAN gesa Peguam Negara segera failkan rayuan berhubung kes kematian remaja lelaki 15 tahun, Aminulrashid Amzah yang ditembak polis dua tahun lepas.

"As the society's needs evolve, the police force must also evolve to meet new needs and assure the public of their safety." - Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak (Bernama)

COMMENT All this Umno 'war talk' of late naturally leads to the question of the role of the Malaysian Armed Forces in the event of the repeat of a 'May 13' scenario, which Umno foresees will occur if BN loses federal power. The most common question people who read my Malaysiakini comment pieces ask is, "Which side will the armed forces take?"

military malaysia army tentera 131106 paradeMy answer is, "No side, hopefully". But this rather glib response masks some very real concerns on my part (and of many other retired military and police personnel as well) about the negative perception of the armed forces by the general public. This would, no doubt, have been cultivated by the atrocious partisan posturing of the military powers-that-be.

Pro-opposition (good friend and comrade-in-arms for a better Malaysia) blogger Zorrounmasked in his blog post 'Think out of your tanks, think-tanks' asks, nay demands, that the military top brass reaffirm in a very public manner their impartiality (no matter the outcome) during the coming general election. In his words: "This is no time for pundits and know-alls to expound their feel-good or doomsday wares. This is the time the rakyat wants assurance that whichever way they exercise their vote, the outcome is for a better Malaysia through a smooth transition into Putrajaya! And this assurance can only come out from the mouths of the generals and the inspector-general of police as per the oath they took."

I will end this piece with why I think this is a futile demand, but as a retired military officer, I am sympathetic to those who need this assurance and am mortified (for my former profession) that it needs to be given in the first place.

'Coyness' of the PM

To be honest, this question, or fear if you like, has been on my mind for some time now. The coyness of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak in not coming out and directly stating that there will be a smooth transition of power is alarming. Surely, such a basic reassurance of the most mundane of democratic practices would not be an issue for a regime that aims to be the "best democracy in the world"? Instead, what we have been 'promised', by no less a person than former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, is that the opposition will "take to the streets" if they lose this election.

There were constant references to Egypt and other populist revolutions across the globe. Malaysians were 'warned' to be grateful for the peace and stability that Umno offers and the war song coming from Putrajaya is that opposition rule will lead to chaos and anarchy is a forgone conclusion. This fear of 'military intervention' is not unfounded. Or rather, this fear of the possible collusion of Umno and the military is the unspoken fear of many opposition supporters, especially of late when Putrajaya is seen as a mission that can be possibly accomplished. A recent example of this is when the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) lodged a police report against Perak Opposition Leader Nizar Jamaluddin for saying that Najib met with senior military officials and asked them to do "something" if BN loses the coming general election.

Nizar is reported to have claimed that these "senior military officers refused" to do so, saying "they would side with the people, leading to an argument".

NONELet us examine the response of MAF chief General Zulkefli Mohd Zin, as reported by Bernama: "Of late, some irresponsible quarters with vested political interests have been trying to poison the minds of the people with the aim of eroding public confidence in the MAF and ruling government."

Now, nowhere in his response does he reaffirm the impartiality of the MAF but instead chose to engage in politics by addressing BN talking points. A proper response to Nizar's allegations would be a denial and a very public affirmation that the military is apolitical.

It would up to Najib (and the relevant authorities) to address this very serious question of 'sedition', and not the MAF through its police report.

But let us look at it another way. In 2010, Azhar Ibrahim was suspended for six months from the Penang state assembly for making "references to the May 13 incident and inviting the armed forces to take over the government", not to mention his threat that "Malay triad organisation 'Tiga Line' would be called in to teach the state government a lesson." So, why no report against Umno assemblyperson? Umno distanced itself from these inflammatory remarks but my question is, why didn't MAF chief Gen Zulkefli lodge a police report alleging sedition against Umno's Azhar Ibrahim?

Of course, there was a retraction, besides "parliamentary privilege" called into play. However, there was not a word from the general, who seemed more concerned that the reputation of Umno has been besmirched, rather than that of the MAF that was mentioned in the same breath as a "Malay triad organisation", not to say anything of the fact that what Azhar was advocating was a military coup d'etat.

Malaysia's Stockholm syndrome

But this is not the first time the top brass of the MAF has been silent when dragged into the political scene. Whether it is a question of vote-rigging or the sale of arms or the Bersih demonstration (about which the MAF has no jurisdiction to comment), the powers-that-be in the MAF have been quick to issue statements normally echoing the partisan rhetoric of the ruling BN coalition. As we have witnessed, Umno is quick to conjure the ghosts of May 13 and to allude to the fact that the MAF is unquestioning loyal to the government. Sometimes though, principled retried armed forces personnel respond to these provocations, as Lt-Kol (Rtd) Mohd Idris Hassan did when confronted by an Umno politician who summoned the spectre of May 13 on national television.

In his an opinion piece in The Star in 2008 under the heading 'Bury the ghost of May 13 once and for all', Idris wrote: "I am shocked and saddened that some politicians are still making threatening reference to the May 13 racial riots of 1969. "One seasoned politician was on national TV Channel 101 on March 15 making reference to the May 13 racial riots, saying that if the opposition parties continue to fan communal sentiments, another May 13 will happen, adding with a raised index finger, "Dan jangan salahkan kami." (Then don't blame us.)

Idris goes on to describe what he witnessed on May 13, 1969 and suggested a possible solution to all this May 13 provocations: "On that fateful day, I was a young officer serving in the army. I witnessed firsthand the carnage as it unfolded. People were attacked because they were of the wrong race, at the wrong place at the wrong time. Everyone suffered. "It is thus my fervent hope that our new, revamped government will pass specific laws making it an offence to raise threats of another May 13 racial riots. "No one should be allowed to hijack peace and stability in our country."

Another retired military officer who is quick to respond to provocations from Putrajaya concerning issues involving the military is Major (Rtd) D Swami, whose blog '7thRangers' is a veritable treasure trove of military lore. The major, who was part of the Malaysian contingent in the UN peacekeeping force in Somalia, is perhaps the foremost chronicler of the roles played by non-Malays in the armed forces. More importantly, Swami's blog is a testament to the historical, multiracial composition of the MAF and contemporary efforts to downplay the role of minorities in the service.

It would seem that Malaysians, or at least a certain section of the electorate, has been suffering under some kind of Stockholm syndrome when it comes to Umno and the state's security apparatus. Waking up the very real concerns of military involvement in the electoral process has resulted in renewed calls for Umno political leaders and the Malaysian Armed Forces to unambiguously declare that there will be a peaceful transition of power and that the impartiality of the MAF will remain sacrosanct.

In the concluding part of this piece tomorrow, I will draw upon the writings of a retired general in an attempt to briefly contextualise the problems this 'fear' involves and explain why I think, in the current Malaysian political atmosphere, such calls are exercises in futility. Malaysiakini

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 02:03 AM PST

Bryan was in town last Thursday to cover a product launch. This busy man is difficult to get hold of even when he is in Penang. After concluding my second day of the Disability Equality Training workshop at University of Malaya, Wuan and I dropped in at Mid Valley Megamall to have dinner with him.

Wuan, Peter Tan and Bryan Soh at Mid Valley Megamall South Court.

Bryan is one of the five bloggers who had shaved his head in support of the Hair for Hospice charity drive. It is always good to catch up with friends whom I have not met in a while. And Bryan always have some interesting stories to share. We had a great time chatting. This must be the season where my baldy friends all converge in the Klang Valley. Wuan and I had met up with Devyne just the day before.

Kes Amah Dirogol, Jakarta Beritahu Rakyatnya Tidak Pilih Malaysia Untuk Jadi Pembantu Rumah

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 04:19 AM PST

-TMI

Government, Police and A-G responsible for failure of justice in Aminulrasyid case

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 12:33 AM PST

PRESS STATEMENT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
5 December 2012

We refer to the acquittal of Corporal Jenain Subi by the Shah Alam High Court in the Aminulrasyid shooting case today. We are shocked and disappointed at this outcome. With this acquittal, no person has been held accountable for the unlawful killing of 14 year old Aminulrasyid Amzah on April 26 2010. The government, Attorney-General and police must bear full responsibility for the failure to secure a single conviction.

From the moment the shooting occurred, the police attempted to cover-up the case and fabricate evidence against the deceased and his family. The police version that Aminulrasyid tried to reverse the car onto police personnel and that there was a parang in the boot of the vehicle was proven false during court proceedings. The then CPO of Selangor Datuk Khalid Bakar himself made these baseless allegations against Aminulrasyid. Until today, neither the Home Ministry nor the Government have apologised to Aminulrasyid's family for the false allegations against Aminulrasyid. No action was taken against Tan Sri Khalid Bakar, who has since been promoted to the position of Deputy IGP.Further, Aminulrasyid's friend Azamuddin Omar had lodged a report that police had attempted to murder him during the incident. No action has been taken against any police officer on Azammudin's report.

The government and the police leadership made every attempt to prevent the truth from emerging in this case. They had no hesitation in defaming a poor dead boy and tarnishing his family's reputation. For the family who sufffered this tragic and enormously painful loss, there can now be no closure.

This terrible case once again illustrates the need for the formation of the IPCMC. When the police are allowed to investigate themselves, it is certainly less likely that convictions will be secured. We call upon the AG to institute an appeal against the decision of the High Court to acquit Corporal Jenain Subi. We also demand that action be taken on Azamuddin's police report. The Government, Home Ministry and IGP must tender a public apology to the family of Aminulrasyid on the false allegations made against Aminulrasyid and his family after his death.

Readings From Readings 2

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 12:24 AM PST

Sharon Bakar and I have been discussing about me attending the Readings for a very long time. Basically, writers read from their works at this monthly event held at Seksan Gallery in Bangsar. Commitments, and procrastination, somehow saw to it that I never made it after more than two years. Admittedly, I am not a literary person but I used to read voraciously at one point in time of my life. My favourites are Asian writers with stories of events that are closer to home.

When Readings sought funding to publish the second book titled Readings from Reading 2, I jumped at the opportunity to support the initiative. The book and bookmarks came in the mail yesterday. Sharon had kindly included the first book for me too. Both are anthologies of short stories and poems that were featured at Readings which suited my short attention span. The large print is also easy on the eyes. I am sure these are two books I will enjoy reading. They are also available in bookshops now.

Dr Hasan can appeal against demotion. O, Syarifah!

Posted: 04 Dec 2012 11:21 PM PST

Ok, the Internet has been abuzz about this couple convicted for khalwat.

Nevertheless, what surprised me most was not the khalwat but the appeal. Well, I guess if an ex-Health Minister caught in a 'sex-capade' could be re-elected to be the President of a party, the position of Dr Hassan could be reinstated too!

Dr Hasan can appeal against demotion, says Health Minister

 2012-12-04 16:50
PUTRAJAYA, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- Datuk Seri Dr Hasan Abdul Rahman, who was suspended as the director-general of health following a 'khalwat' (close proximity) case, can appeal against his demotion by one grade by the Public Service Commission (PSC), Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said today.
Dr Hasan could also opt for early retirement, he added.
"We will leave it to him to decide what he wants to do next," Liow told reporters after the monthly assembly of the ministry and the launch of the Clearinghouse for Research on Disability, here.
In a statement yesterday, PSC chairman Tan Sri Mahmood Adam said Dr Hasan was demoted one grade lower than his Medical Officer Staff II Main Grade in accordance with Regulation 33(1) of the Public Officers Regulations (Conduct and Discipline) 1993.
Mahmood said the PSC also decided that Grade U41 nurse Wan Syarifah Nooraazmanita Wan Hassan, who was involved in the case, be subjected to a drop of three salary movements for a period of 12 months.
On Nov 14, Dr Hasan, 56, and Wan Syarifah Nooraazmanita, 36, were fined RM3,000 and RM2,900, respectively, by the Syariah High Court after they pleaded guilty to 'khalwat' at a room of the Putrajaya Pullman Hotel at 2.18 am on that day.

Ethnic Hatred Tears Apart a Region of Myanmar

Posted: 04 Dec 2012 11:00 PM PST

Mr. Nyarna, who is the head of an association of young monks, in SITTWE, Myanmar, said many Muslims do not "practice human morals" and should be sent to Muslim countries to be among "their own kind." …
[What moral?
MORAL of the Mass Murderer Monk?]
Mr. Nyarna launches into a rant against Muslims and called Muslims "vipers in our laps."
[According to Myanmar proverb, if anyone see a Rakhine and viper, Myanmar need to kill Rakhine first because they are more dangerous than Vipers.]
(CRIMINAL) Nyarna said "According to Buddhist teachings we should not kill," Mr. Nyarna said. "But when we feel threatened we cannot be saints."
[Yes he is right this time, he is not a saint nor a holy monk but a Satan or devil wearing a saffron robe.]

Ethnic Hatred Tears Apart a Region of Myanmar By Published: November 29, 2012

SITTWE, Myanmar — The Buddhist monastery on the edge of this seaside town is a picture of tranquillity, with novice monks in saffron robes finding shade under a towering tree and their teacher, U Nyarna, greeting a visitor in a sunlit prayer room.

But in these placid surroundings Mr. Nyarna's message is discordant, and a far cry from the Buddhist precept of avoiding harm to living creatures. Unprompted, Mr. Nyarna launches into a rant against Muslims, calling them invaders, unwanted guests and "vipers in our laps."

"According to Buddhist teachings we should not kill," Mr. Nyarna said. "But when we feel threatened we cannot be saints."

Violence here in Rakhine State — where clashes have left at least 167 people dead and 100,000 people homeless, most of them Muslims — has set off an exodus that some human rights groups condemn as ethnic cleansing. It is a measure of the deep intolerance that pervades the state, a strip of land along the Bay of Bengal in western Myanmar, that Buddhist religious leaders like Mr. Nyarna, who is the head of an association of young monks, are participating in the campaign to oust Muslims from the country, which only recently began a transition to democracy from authoritarian rule.

After a series of deadly rampages and arson attacks over the past five months, Buddhists are calling for Muslims who cannot prove three generations of legal residence — a large part of the nearly one million Muslims from the state — to be put into camps and sent to any country willing to take them. Hatred between Muslims and Buddhists that was kept in check during five decades of military rule has been virtually unrestrained in recent months.

Even the country's leading liberal voice and defender of the downtrodden, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, has been circumspect in her comments about the violence. President Obama made the issue a priority during his visit to the country this month — the first by a sitting American president — and Muslim nations as diverse as Indonesia and Saudi Arabia have expressed alarm.

Buddhists and Muslims in western Myanmar have had an uneasy coexistence for decades, and in some areas for centuries, but the thin threads that held together the social fabric of Rakhine State have torn apart this year.

Muslims who fled their homes now live in slumlike encampments that are short on food and medical care, surrounded by a Buddhist population that does not want them as neighbors.

"This issue must be solved urgently," said U Shwe Maung, a Muslim member of Parliament. "When there is no food or shelter, people will die."

Conditions have become so treacherous for Muslims across the state that Mr. Shwe Maung travels with a security force provided by the government. "They give me a full truck of police," he said. "Two, three or four policemen is not enough."

Leaders of the Buddhist majority in the state say they feel threatened by what they say is the swelling Muslim population from high birthrates and by Islamic rituals they find offensive, like the slaughter of animals.

"We are very fearful of Islamicization," said U Oo Hla Saw, general secretary of the Rakhine Nationalities Development Party, the largest party in the state. "This is our native land; it's the land of our ancestors."

During outbreaks of sectarian violence in June and again in October, villagers armed themselves with swords, clubs and sharpened bicycle spokes that they launched from homemade catapults. In Muslim-majority areas, monasteries were burned. In Buddhist-majority areas, mosques were destroyed. The mayhem was set off by the rape and murder of a Buddhist girl for which Muslims were blamed.

The center of Sittwe, a former British colonial outpost, is now empty of the Muslims who once worked in large numbers as stevedores and at other manual jobs.

"I'm scared to go back," said Aye Tun Sein, who was a teacher at a government school before the upheaval. In his village, Teh Chaung East, a 20 minute drive from Sittwe, he said that no one has a job because no one can leave the village, a collection of shacks and tents.

Political leaders describe the near total segregation of Muslims as temporary, but it appears to be more and more permanent.

"I don't miss them," said U Win Maung, a bicycle rickshaw driver whose house was burned down in June by his Muslim neighbors. "The hatred we have for each other is growing day by day."

During his visit, Mr. Obama spent a considerable portion of a speech at Yangon University focusing on the importance of diversity, singling out the "danger" of the Rakhine situation and telling his audience "there is no excuse for violence against innocent people."

"What we've learned in the United States is that there are certain principles that are universal, apply to everybody no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, no matter what religion you practice," he said.

Divisions are so deep in Rakhine State that the communities cannot agree on what the Muslims should be called. Many Muslims call themselves Rohingya, an ethnic group that is not officially recognized in Myanmar, formerly Burma.

Small Muslim communities coexist with the Buddhist majority across Myanmar, but hatred is greatest for the Rohingya, partly because of their large numbers — at least 800,000, according to the United Nations — and their concentration in Rakhine State. (The country has a population of 55 million.)

The Buddhist residents of Rakhine see themselves as the inheritors of the ancient Buddhist kingdom of Mrauk U. They do not consider themselves ethnically Burmese, and the government recognizes them as a separate group. Rakhine Buddhists say they feel squeezed, persecuted by the Burmese majority and threatened by the swelling Muslim minority.

Before the violence, Rakhine Buddhists and Muslims had a sort of master-servant relationship, a castelike system in which Muslims did menial work and Buddhists were usually the bosses.

"We lived side by side but we never talked to each other," said Daw Htwe May, a 51-year-old Buddhist resident of Sittwe who lost her home in the violence.

A group of Buddhist women burst out laughing when asked whether their children played with Muslims.

"Even a small boy knows that he should not play with a kalar," a pejorative term for people of Indian descent, said Daw Thein Hla Yi, 55.

Buddhists say Muslims should be considered illegal immigrants, and they are angry that foreign countries and the foreign news media have sympathy for Muslims.

Leaders from both groups reach back into history for justifications for their cause.

"These people did not migrate from anywhere," said Mr. Shwe Maung, the Muslim member of Parliament whose father was a police officer and whose grandfather was a landlord in Rakhine State. "They have been living there for several centuries."

President Thein Sein told a visiting delegation from the United Nations in July that only Muslims who have been in the country for at least three generations would be allowed citizenship. The rest were a "threat to the peace of the nation," he said, and would be put in camps and sent abroad. The United Nations rejected the idea, saying that it was not in the business of creating refugees.

Diplomats say that Mr. Thein Sein has retreated from that position and is now talking about resettling displaced Muslim populations inside the country. He sent a letter to the United Nations just before Mr. Obama's visit saying that once passions cooled he would "address contentious political dimensions, ranging from resettlement of displaced populations to granting of citizenship." But he offered no details or time frame. He has ordered a commission of inquiry, which is expected to issue a report in the coming months.

In Sittwe, Buddhists say they are not ready to make concessions. Mr. Nyarna, the monk, said many Muslims do not "practice human morals" and should be sent to Muslim countries to be among "their own kind."

Don't Mess With Mom!

Posted: 04 Dec 2012 11:00 PM PST

My son came home from school one day, with a smirk upon his face. He decided he was smart enough, to put me in my place. "Guess what I learned in Civics Two, that's taught by Mr. Wright? It's all about the laws today, The 'Children's Bill of Rights.' It says I need not clean my room, don't have to cut my hair No one can tell me what to think, or speak, or what to wear. I have freedom from religion, and regardless what you say, I don't have to bow my head, and I sure don't have to pray. I can wear earrings if I want, and pierce my tongue & nose. I can read & watch just what I like, get tattoos from head to toe. And if you ever spank me, I'll charge you with a crime. I'll back up all my charges, with the marks on my behind. Don't you ever touch me, my body's only for my use, not for your hugs and kisses, that's just more child abuse. Don't preach about your morals, like your Mama did to you. That's nothing more than mind control, & ESP; And it's illegal too! Mom, I have these children's rights, so you can't influence me, or I'll call Children's Services Division, better known as C.S.D." Of course my first instinct was to toss him out the door. But the chance to teach him a lesson made me think a little more. I mulled it over carefully, I couldn't let this go. A smile crept upon my face, he's messing with a pro. Next day I took him shopping at the local Goodwill Store. I told him, "Pick out all you want, there's shirts & pants galore. I've called and checked with C.S.D. who said they didn't care if I bought you K-Mart shoes instead of those Nike Airs. I've cancelled that appointment to take your driver's test. The C.S.D. is unconcerned so I'll decide what's best." I said "No time to stop and eat, or pick up stuff to munch. And tomorrow you can start to learn to make your own sack lunch. Just save the raging appetite, and wait till dinner time. We're having liver and onions, a favorite dish of mine." He asked "Can I please rent a movie, to watch on my VCR?" "Sorry, but I sold your TV, for new tires on my car. I also rented out your room, you'll take the couch instead. The C.S.D. requires just a roof over your head. Your clothing won't be trendy now, I'll choose what we eat. That allowance that you used to get, will buy me something neat. I'm selling off your jet ski, dirt-bike & roller blades. Check out the 'Parents Bill of Rights', It's in effect today! Hey hot shot, are you crying, Why are you on your knees? -Author Unknown-

Our 'Innocent' Gladiators..

Posted: 04 Dec 2012 09:51 PM PST

A rowdy, disorderly night yesterday at Gombak?
Who were the villians who started the rather bloody commotion?
Was it all worth the cuts and bruises?
What a shame..the 'fighters' were our Malays..our race..whom we treasure highly.

Families of all those hurt are definitely boiling in anger.
Their beloved ones may have related their side of the disgraceful quarelling match.

Probably some badly plastered and stitched, there could be those bedridden and moaning in pain for days.
Should there be any head injuries, one can assume that it may have its long lasting effects.
We are not given the full details but there may have been other kinds of casualties..fractured, broken limbs etc.
Luckily nobody died in the 'battle'.

If DSAI and his entourage suspect that there were bound to be trouble, why did they stubbornly proceed with the ceramah?
Surely the safety of his supporters/audience should have been topmost in his mind.

Then again, the Umno boys should not have been parading themselves there in the first place.
Memang sengaja nak cari pasal!
They should have planned another ceramah to counter the PR.
Not that they were not brainy enough to use good arguments to neutralize whatever talks held?

Why must there be tauntings and provocations?
Both sides were losing their sanity.
They were extremely selfish and did not bother about the safety of others anymore.
Main baling2 batu..ingat ini Palestinians lawan Jews ker?

If they could kill each other, that was exactly what they would have done.
Less Malay population at last!?
Happy??

Seldom do we hear of other races getting hurt through this manner.
Don't we have other things to do?
Why can't we just stay at home with our loved ones instead of getting involved is some ruckus?
DSAI cannot instigate the young non-Malays to indulge in such ludicrous conduct.
None of them would want to bleed for him.

We Malays are so gullible.
Is it in our Malay blood to get flared up so easily and lose our cool?
Then again, if we are dissatisfied with the government, do we resort to 'murdering' each other.

DSAI has the gift of the gab.
He has excellent oratorical skills.
Knowing how to surf into the frustrations of his Malay youngsters and making them bubble crazily to his advantage is his game.
We know..he wants to be the PM of Malaysia even for a day if possible.

He has his dreams.
And he is not concerned of who gets KOed along the way.

DSAI just want to satisfy his ambition.
His family and clan are already fabulously rich.
Money is his least worry.
But many of his 'pendekars' are not rich.

And when there lies many of our young 'martyrs', the focus will be diverted on the political warfare.
Our majority of young, aggressive-minded Malays will be busying themselves in this manner instead of competing in full blast with the non-Malays to get good jobs and grabbing chunks of the economic wealth.

Other Malaysian races will silently clap their hands and will ultimately cheer loudly..
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Kill! Kill! Kill!
We become like those cute colourful ayam sabung bouncing about wildly..
How can we allow ourselves to be caught in such a cruel arena?

The glory of distracting our minds from peace and happiness to being just Hang Tuahs and Hang Jebats.
How nice..LAWAN!
Why don't we make movies depicting such disgusting rowdiness which we are so clever in?
These kind of 'warriors' deserve world-wide recognition and fame.
Then our race can compete with the likes of the Hollywood stars.
Good work boys!Buat lagi..

Jangan Berikan Kepercayaan Kepada UMNO Yang Kini 'Desperate'

Posted: 05 Dec 2012 12:58 AM PST

-aspanalias
