Guess... who wants to kill Psy?

Guess... who wants to kill Psy?

Guess... who wants to kill Psy?

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 11:26 AM PST

South Korean pop star Park Jae-sang aka Psy received a death threat during his visit to Penang on Monday, and that 'barred' him from joining Barisan Nasional leaders for a yee sang tossing ceremony after his performance.

Hmmm... why would anyone wanted to kill him, and for what reason?

The Gangnam Style singer has millions of fan in Malaysia and I don't think any of them poses any kind of threat on his life.

He was in fact a darling at the Chinese New Year celebration, which was boycotted by Pakatan Rakyat, especially Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng. The opposition members who joined the crowd were there for one purpose - to jeer him and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

But again, who would want to kill Psy?

Obviously not his fans and not members of the public. Barisan Nasional members? Can't be, because Psy brought about cheer to the celebration?

Then, who could it possibly be? It has to be someone who didn't want him to be there, right? Any wild guess?
A 'death threat' was among the reasons South Korean popstar Psy (pix) was not able to join Barisan Nasional leaders for the yee sang tossing ceremony at the Penang BN Chinese New Year Open House on Monday.
State BN chief Teng Chang Yeow said police had informed the organisers of the threat on Psy, whose real name is Park Jae-sang.
"The police had received information that there was an attempt on Psy's life," he said.
Describing the developments as "technical hiccups" occurring during the event, Teng sought to refute rumours over reasons Psy did not turn up to toss yee sang with Najib and other BN leaders.
He said the female emcee for the event did not take the cue from the stage manager and failed to introduce the Korean megastar.

Ketiak mamak hangit tapi air tangan dia kita suka

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 06:08 AM PST

Kenapa orang suka lepak kedai mamak?..akak pun suka...

Kalau nak ikutkan..bukan sedap sangat makanan kat mamak ni... yg ada roti canai..tosei... paling faveret teh tarik or nescafe tarik... tapi kalau tengok kadang tu terpaksa tunggu turn nak duduk sebab penuh...

Akak rasa lepak mamak ni sampai lewat2 malam hanya ada kat malaysia je . Negara lain mana ada.. semua kul 10 tutup.

Kalau lepak mamak ni bukan orang muda je.. budak..mak orang..laki orang.. asal nak lepak je kita trus ke mamak. Kat sini gak jadi port orang tengok bola. Sebab ramai2 leh sorak2... mungkin sebab kat mamak ni ada astro..

Bak kata jessica maembong..." mamak ni kebanyakkannya 24 jam..so leh lepak suka hati sampai kul bapa pun.. sapa xde umah mmg sesuai duduk trus dekat mamak ni"

Bak kata kak bed. "Pelbagai makanan..mudah..walaupun pekerjanya ketiak hangit"

Betul kata kak bed. Tapi tetap kita duk mengidam air tangan mamak tu. Garu garu ketiak skit lepas tu tebar roti canai. Kita pun makan dengan lazatnya.. yummy..

Mungkin sebab kedai mamak ni open air.. santai n makanan dia simple n just nice.

Tapi kadang bukan sebab makanan dia kita suka. Tapi sebab suasana dia yg santai kot. Leh cuci mata katanya...

Bila akak lepak mamak mesti mak akak akan cakap " ape lah sedap sangat kat mamak tu... ko dah krna mandrem dgn mamak tu agaknya".. ada betul kot.. jangan gila2 mamak ni ada pelaris tau.. banyak dah akak dengar.

Tapi ape pun rakyat malaysia ni mmg suka makan kat mamak.. entah kenapa.. masing2 ada pendapat sendiri.

And jangan gila2 ramai kawan akak bertemu jodoh kat kedai mamak ni. Lebih lebih lagi kedai mamak kat port dickson. Kan kak bed kan..

[BOM MELETUP] Deepak Bongkar SD 3 Pengakuan ‘Individu’ Diarah Bunuh Altantuya

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 10:01 AM PST

Apa Kejadah Kos Satu Bilik Darjah Dibina Umno-BN Bernilai RM1 Juta?

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 06:57 AM PST

Wish List – From Squid to Apple to an ancient Italian town (Not!)

Posted: 13 Feb 2013 11:45 PM PST

I was cleaning the screen of my Iphone yesterday, rubbing it with a piece of wet wipes when I wondered how nice if suddenly a djinn shall appear from the lamp phone and grant me a few wishes. First the djinn looks like a pretty Mediterranean girl with a ponytail high up her head then suddenly hshe changed into  Steve Jobb (rip) in low waist-ed shocking pink baggy pants and strapless bra top.  I almost dropped the poor old phone and came back to  reality.

Indeed I do have a short wish list in my mind. The items in it consists of common things and expensive things alike. Let me write them down here kot-kot Azman nak pi tolong cari.

dispenser

Dual cereal dispenser

Boleh tak mendalah ni I have been looking for it all over tak jumpa-jumpa?! When I asked my friends, they all have seen or have bought it from the most common of all places like I Wanna Go Home, KLCC, Bangsar Village etc. Aku rasa aku pun tiap kali jumpa mesti masuk I Wanna Go Home tawaf patbelas kali bagai tapi apsal tak nampak pon??  Hey dispenser ko menyorok ke apa? I need this coz Miki loves cereals, he eats it not only for breakfast but for snacks pagi petang siang malam. He can pour the milk without spilling but I won't let him stand on  a chair, reach for my heavy glass jar (that currently contains his fave Froot Loop) for he will surely drops it and hurt himself. Even if he is successful in handling the jar and getting the food inside chances are he will not close it back sampai lemau.. haishhh… I need to buy this dispenser asap.

macbook air

Macbook Air

My current machine is a VOSTRO 3460. It is fast and  fantastic, I love it but it weighs a tonne. Not that I am using any fancy software beyond Photoshop and some word processor but Macbook Air is so darn sexy! I would like to get the smallest and the lightest (11in with retina display, please?), so  that I can carry it around like I would a compact powder. Sometimes I wish I can use my Ipad for work  but Miki has installed dozens and dozens of gaming apps… hey, aku tengok iPad ni pun dah menyampah!  Ipad dah synonym as a gaming device dah, I want the professional Macbook Air pls! I kan professional?! (vomit blood)

salted egg calamari

Fried Calamari with Salted Egg

Ini pun kira wish list ke? Ada aku kisah? I want this badly, can somebody tell me the best halal place to eat this in Klang Valley. And owh if I can a tutorial on how to cook this dish, it would be good as well. :p For those who haven't tasted. Sotong Goreng Telur Masin is an explosion of flavour.. pop a piece in your mouth and you'll go weeeee~~~ flying to the sky then slide down a rainbow masuk dalam ayaq laut berenang dengan sotong-sotong kegembiraan! Best giler!

tivoli pm

LV Tivoli PM

What can I say, she is too cute. She is like the daughter I don't have. Sighhh….

A vacation

I know I need a vacation  but I am not sure why when I say vacation my head thinks Langkawi?! I think this has got to be influenced by my maternal instinct of being fair to both my children. One of Miki's earliest holiday in his life was in Langkawi so naturally Rafa should go there as well. See that pic above? See how young the three of us look? Darn it!! That was in late 2008. Haishhh….

The vacation, the dispenser, the sotong gembira is affordable but it is juts the matter of where and where I could get it. The applelicious machine and the adopted daughter  bag however requires a bit more fund to get the fun… :)

I have another thing that I desire, something money cannot buy. It is measured by ticking of the clock at every passing hour. And it is called time. The time I have is not enough, to watch Baby Rafa rolls, then sits up, then crawls before he stands himself up and starts running…. And to hold Miki's hand before he enters his school, where he learns how to read, how to sing, how to count, how to be a grown up that no longer needs Mumy and Daddy. I guess time is what I need the most.

Have a good day every one and I hope everyone of us will achieve or obtain all the items in our wish lists! Much love!

[PANAS] Deepak Bom Najib Lagi: Rosmah Guna Ilmu Sihir & Bomoh

Posted: 14 Feb 2013 12:58 AM PST

-KD

Why Myanmar Muslims are not given equal rights as other foreigners in Malaysia?

Posted: 13 Feb 2013 10:51 PM PST

There are a lot of Myanmars in Malaysia: Muslims/non-Muslims, Professionals, businesspersons, white/blue collar staff, labourers and refugees (including illegal immigrants etc.
Myanmars may be about 50% of all foreigners.
But how many percent got ICs…may be less than 01% of all other Foreigners who got new ICs.
IT IS NOT FAIR in all standard!
Please change the system and mindset of discrimination on Myanmars esp. on Muslims of Myanmar including Rohingyas.

READ THE NEWS in MSM The Star>"Big jump in new voters in seven states"

!00 % of Malay Muslims professionals I talked to for unfair treatment on Muslims of Myanmar, including Rohingyas here when compare with those …they all replied that those were their brothers. Some are even angry with me for comparing…

Actually I never started the conversation about that. They asked how long I am here in Malaysia, and asked me whether I got the Blue IC. I told them that I am NOT and Indon, Filipino nor Thai…They used to get ICs very easily but I am a Myanmar Muslim, NOT a favoured Muslim status here…When they argue I told them about the Konfrontasi (Indonesia–Malaysia confrontation)…when Indons landed on Melaka beach…About the NUMEROUS non-Muslim Philipinos with ICs…

Menteri' dipersalah, punca Psy tak gaul yee sang

Pemimpin BN tertunggu-tunggu ketika mereka bertepuk tangan dan melihat sekeliling, selepas pengumuman pengacara, tetapi akhirnya meneruskan menggaul hidangan tradisional tanpa Psy.

Najib's failure to listen earns public rebuke by Gobind Singh Deo

Posted: 13 Feb 2013 04:22 PM PST

MP SPEAKS It was Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's failure to listen to the people that earned him the public rebuke he got in Penang during the BN's Chinese New Year open house. He has spent huge amounts of money trying to impress upon Malaysians his concept of change. But he has failed. It is a pity but he was humiliated when the crowd in Penang said 'No", not once but three times, when he asked whether they are ready for BN.

NONEIt is strange for the PM to have asked the question three times, having heard their reply the first time around. Perhaps the PM was just doing what he does best. He was not listening.

The people have been asking for answers to many questions but has the PM been listening? Well, he certainly has not answered.

There are allegations against the PM and his family in relation to certain business deals. There are questions over statutory declarations. These come back to more pressing questions involving the death of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu. Then there are questions surrounding the PM's failure to respond to attacks against religion in our country, the use of the word 'Allah' by non-Muslims and the threat to burn the Malay-language Bible.

NONEThe PM who has repeatedly sought support by declaring himself as a 'PM for all Malaysians' has failed miserably to demonstrate that very courage needed of a leader in such circumstances, to lead where leadership is required.

Then the even more disturbing failure on the PM's part to see to it that action is taken against individuals who deliberately flout the law and insult race and religion. There is just simply no action and the PM doesn't answer.

Then we have the PM keeping silent when party stalwarts such as Dr Mahathir Mohamad whose views represent and hold great weight in Umno, continue to support such demeaning acts. The same people keep insulting other races even to the extent of pleading to the people to give the PM a two-thirds majority in Parliament, so that laws can be changed so as to get rid of Malaysians who fight against them, who fight for justice by revoking their citizenship. These are merely a few examples. The PM has sat silent throughout these incidents. He doesn't seem to listen.

Consequences of deafness

The PM has failed to understand what it is Malaysia needs and that is a change in political mindset, where quite apart from economic reform, we need to build a stronger and more resilient society, with greater social values and moral fabric. Malaysia needs leadership if it is to move into a new era, an era where all Malaysians can rest assured that its government is alive to the real issues around it and brave enough to deal with them.
NONEThe PM has failed to do that. He has failed to live up to his 1Malaysia slogan.

Spending money doesn't make you a better PM. Listening to your people on all scores and responding with solutions, especially in difficult situations, will.

There is much to be learnt from the public rebuke BN got in Penang. There is no way the people can force BN to listen to them.

BN can ignore the people as they have on many occasions. But when they ignore the people, they shouldn't be surprised when the people in turn reject them publicly in the end. Malaysiakini

A Chance Encounter

Posted: 13 Feb 2013 04:13 PM PST

Thanks to Jerry who sent me this story. Have a great day!

The following story by Dave Kerpen is from here.

I have a story to share, about a short flight that changed my life, which I've never written publicly about. Before I tell you the story, I'll warn you – my last lesson learned may be a controversial one for some people.

Anyway, two years ago, one rainy morning in New York, I had a flight to catch to Boston. My first two scheduled flights were canceled, and I almost decided not to go, but I gave it one more shot, and the third flight went out as planned. I was sitting in the front row of coach, and just before the flight took off, a much older man got up from first class, which was actually a lot more crowded, and sat down in my row, just across the aisle.

As the plane went into the air, I had a rare moment when I couldn't stare at my electronic device of choice, and so I peered to my right, and saw the older man reading some paper, with large print typed on it. I couldn't help but notice the words on the page: "My dear friend, the late Ted Kennedy…"

Intrigued, I read on, and saw the following words soon thereafter:

"When I wrote the new GI Bill…"

I was sitting next to a Congressman! Excited, but still not knowing who he was, I put out my hand and said to him, "Excuse me. Sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to say it's an honor to meet you. I'm Dave Kerpen."

"Great to meet you, Dave. I'm Senator Frank Lautenberg," he replied.

We proceeded to talk for the next 45 minutes – the entire flight up to Boston. It turned out that he was on his way to give a speech at his grandson's school – and having nearly run for political office myself, I was anxious to learn from him. I did learn a great deal about the Senator – over his illustrious career, the oldest living senator (at 89!) had authored the legislation to ban smoking on airlines – legislation that has affected us all, in a positive way. He also authored the Ryan White Care Act, serving AIDS patients, and fought for stiffer drunk-driving penalties. He has had what anyone of any political party would argue is a great career in government – and he had gotten it all started late in his life, at 58 years old.

But the incredible thing I learned was that before politics, Lautenberg had had another career – in business – as the first salesperson and longtime CEO of a payroll company you may have heard of – ADP. Today, Automatic Data Processing (ADP) is a $10 Billion company on the Fortune 500 – but Senator Lautenberg shared stories from its start, in 1949, when he had just graduated from college, and from 1961, when he took the company public.

We talked about business, and politics, and social media, and family. I told him how interested I was in growing our social media business, and then perhaps going into politics, as he had done. I also told him my wife and I were considering having a third child, but we weren't sure, because we were both so busy with work and other priorities. It was great conversation, or at least I thought so. Of course, the flight from NYC to Boston doesn't last long, and the flight landed almost as quickly as it took off.

Senator Lautenberg gave me his business card, told me he really enjoyed meeting me and learned a lot from me about social media, and said he'd love to get together again. I wasn't sure I'd see him again, but I thanked him profusely, and told him he'd given me a lot to think about in terms of creating a legacy as he had done.

"One more thing, Dave," Senator Lautenberg said, as the flight attendant welcomed us to Boston. "I want to show you a picture of my greatest legacy."

As he reached into his pocket, I wondered what he'd show me –a leader so accomplished in two totally different careers. A piece of paper with the idea for ADP? A section of a law he'd written? A picture of him with a President?

Senator Lautenberg pulled his phone out of his pocket, and proceeded to show me a picture with a whole bunch of people.

"These are my four kids, and seven grandchildren, Dave. This is my greatest legacy."

What I Learned From That Flight

1) You can learn from anyone. Start up a conversation whenever possible. Life gives us so many opportunities to strike up a conversation with a stranger – on a flight, waiting in line at the supermarket, and on the train to work, to name a few. We can keep to ourselves, or say hello with a smile and meet someone, and maybe even learn from them. I learned so much from Frank Lautenberg in just 45 minutes – and the crazy thing is, he actually said he learned from me.
